70th Birthday Celebration

We have just returned from a weeks stay for a 70th birthday as 8 adults and 6 children aged between 2 and 17 and what a fantastic time we all had. The weather was amazing, so the pool was a big part of our holiday, due to us going in May we decided to have the pool heated and it was just a perfect temperature. Although probably a bit on the smaller side for the size of the villa the children (and adults) had a great time cooling off / playing in the pool. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for those seeking shade. The gym at the villa was a massive hit with the older teenagers and adults - enough equipment in there to have a decent work out, which was great. Lidl is close by so easy to do a big shop, lots of bars and restaurants all within 5-10 minutes drive away, Ubers are great, quick and very reasonable for those not wanting to drive. Definitely recommend for a larger group family / friends get away.

Great Week In May

9 mature male golfers stayed at the Villa. Owner was great and responsive to a small electrical problem. Villa was clean, facilities were great. We will definitely be back.

Gorgeous villa

Overall this villa is a gorgeous house and a nice place to stay. Location is good in a quiet neighbourhood and 3min drive (15 min walk) to the beach. Around 1 km to nearest shop (Lidl) and market place. All bedrooms has air condition. All eight bedrooms in the main house has its own bathroom. The two bedrooms in the seperate guest house shares a bathroom, this bathroom holds a slightly lower stadard than the rest. Cleaning was very good and cleaning staff came by severall times to keep it fresh. Garden and pool was also maintained during our stay.The two fridges in the kitchen with ice cube machine was great. Also another two standard fridges in the gym room outside. Two large gas stoves charcoal BBQ. Only one oven unfortuntly. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and utensiles.Kitchen and living room a bit small for 20 people, but the outdoor area with swimmingpool, gym, volleyball course and outdoor dining area makes up for this. Plenty of sun chairs and sitting arangements outside makes good use of the space.Garage space for two cars. Its nice to have two washing machines (and one dryer) for longer stays.We had a lovely stay at this villa.

We had a lovely stay. The host was very helpful. The property was quiet, child friendly and secure. The pool was warm which was brilliant for April. Plenty of room, brilliant for large family groups. My only criticism is a new pool table would be nice and outside paths a bit rough but I believe there is work being done as we speak. Would definitely go back

Fabulous

Great house,big garden,nice bedrooms with good bathroom.swimmingpool was heated,very nice for the children,they loved it.There was a lot of toys. There goodbe a bit of restore,kitchen,some airconditioners outdoor table and the pooltable. Over all we had with 17people a wonderful time.

Great location

Great location near the beach. Every room had a bathroom. Volleyball field and fitness room as well as a beautiful outside grill/kitchen area was awesome. If the weather is great the location is unbeatable. In bad weather the kitchen to take the meals is not super, but possible. Unfortunately we had a somewhat bad smell in 2 bathrooms, probably due to public drainage. But this is often the case in Portugal when it rains a lot. Filipe was super responsive and unexpectedly we even had a cleaning team coming in the middle of the week. Which was great.

Excellent Villa

We stay at this villa last week and had such a great week, 24 attended ranging from 18 month- 40 years old. Everything you need is in close proximity and only an uber away. Any problems Filipe was on hand on just a call away. Thank you for a great week for my wife's 40th birthday. Dave

Wonderful villa and a super host in Filipe.

We’ve just enjoyed two lovely weeks at Villa Laranja. There was plenty of space for the 14 of us inside and out and it had everything we could possibly need. The pool table and table tennis table got a lot of use!!! Filipe was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to return for another holiday there again soon!!

Family holiday

An amazing villa very clean and beds were so comfortable there were 21 of us theres also an annex in the garden that sleeps 4 people the gym was good for some of the young ones table tennis went done a treat the men loved having tournaments. The pool was a bit small but it was great George the taxi guy was just amazing better to phone in advance he sorted out 3 eight seater mini cabs for us took us shopping even waited on us Filipe was on hand as well he was a lovely guy we would certainly recommend this very spacious villa Comfortable sofas to chill at night Keg of beer went done well Definitely catered for a large family Thankyou for an amazing time in a beautiful villa

Fantastic villa

There were 20 of us including babies and adults. Filipe was a brilliant host - a nice guy and attended to any needs very quickly. The Villa was very clean and had brilliant facilities for the whole family - volleyball table tennis a fully equipped gym and various toys etc for the kids to play with in the pool The pool looked a bit small on the pictures however in reality it was absolutely fine. It was in a quieter area although Vilamoura was only 10 mins in a taxi, Lidl was about 5 mins as was the waterpark George who was recommended by Filipe was brilliant he organised all of our taxis to and from the airport and any time we wanted to go anywhere he was there. Overall one of the best holidays we have had with the family High recommend coming to the villa absolutely fantastic

Excellent vacation at villa Laranja

We had a family reunion at villa Laranja, and everyone loved it, adults, children and toddlers. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked, and there is plenty of space in the garden for children and adults: volleyball sandy court, a nice pool and there is also a gym room with different exercise implements. There is a beautiful barbecue space and fruit trees. Filipe (who manages the property) is very pleasant, very helpful and very responsive always. Also, the property is in walking distance of beautiful beaches and of a couple of beach restaurants. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time and want to come back next year 😊

Great time with Friends

The stay at the villa was great. The outdoor Facility, with the beach field and the outdoor kitchen was super and great for many people with kids. The Pool was nice but smaller than expexted and warm. Also it was not cleaned during the Week. The house was very nice and we always had a contact Person. On the day of departure someone came already at 9 o‘clock to clean the outside area but we were also allowed to check in earlier. We had a great Time!!

Great Large Family Gettaway

The Villa was perfect firr a large family group. 13 Adults & 4 kids. Lovely pool for kids & adults to play in. No laps in this one! Rooms big and comfortable. Furniture is basic but fine for kids. Beds were excellent. Cleaning was great. Indoor & outdoor towels were great. Fantastic Beer tap which was well apprieciated in the heat and good calue. Annex was perfect for Granny & Grandad as far enough away for no moise or early morning kiddy visits.Filipe was welcoming and attentive when we had a problem. Location was great walking distance to the beach & Lidl shop. Great for little kids as a big enclosed garden with steps into the pool and a beach volly ball court which was good for sandcastles. I would go again with the family.

Extended Family vacation of a lifetime

The best holiday we could have hoped for. All started off with taxi pick ups by George he was great throughout holiday a complete gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. Once we arrived in villa we were delighted to find the villa as so clean and the ensuites were as good as any hotel we stayed in. The kitchen continued everything we could want. The best part for us all young and old was the heated pool. We were in the pool from morning to night. Filipe was really great to deal with throughout the week. We hope to revisit this villa again in a couple of years. Amazing villa and pool top class

Nice journey in Filipe Villa in Quarteira

We were a big group family with children's. We had enough place for each family. The property is big enough and offer a lot of space for children's to play around. As well the adults have fun in fitness or at beach volleyball ground. The big barbecue area offer a lkt of space for big dinner or small party. Villa Laranja is also very good furnished and modern bedrooms and kitchen area. The villa is just few miles far from beach place, where the view to the Atlantic is just amazing. Filipe was always available to help and give us information about the city. Thank @Filipe for that! We just had nice week in villa Laranja.

Nice Villa

Overall the villa is very nice for a big group of people. It is renovated and quite modern. It has everything you need for a wonderful holiday with friends or family. However, the number of beds is not precise as in the villa itself we could only find 16 proper beds plus one double mattress for a group of 22 people. By the end of the week we found out that at the back of the yard is another little house with four more beds. This was not very well indicated in the beginning. In general we enjoyed our week in the villa. Communication with Filipe is prompt. You can easily reach him via WhatsApp.

Great family Villa

The Villa was perfect for our family of 15 of varying ages. All rooms required had ensuite facilities, which was perfect for our group. Lots of different things to do, pool, gym, volleyball, basketball - kept all age groups happy. We loved the space and seating facilities, inside and out. Most of our dining was alfresco, very comfortable. We had Caterers in for most of our week, the only downside for them was, just 1 oven and 1 dishwasher, they could have done with 2 of each. I had direct contact with Filipe the owner, before and during the holiday, who was very helpful at all times. We also utilized a driver that Filipe recommended - that was George, he became a member of our family, he looked after us all (along with his son) all week, which made all of our trips out effortless. It is a great Villa for large parties/families and cost effective. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing holiday!!!

We had an amazing time at the villa! A great holiday for our family! The bbq area is lovely and with Lidl nearby it was easy to stock up on all the groceries and necessities for the holiday. The facilities are 5 star, the pics are great but seeing it is even better, Filipe has updated the villa with a fantastic volley ball court and all the outdoor couches and sun loungers were a higher standard than what we see on the pics, Filipe you have to update these old pictures for new ones, you've done great there!!! These pictures simply doesn't do you justice! The living area is very spacious, the kitchen is super well equipped! The football table was a big hit with the adults and kids! Nice and sheltered and provides a great break from the sun for the kids. Everything is within 2/10 min from the villa… restaurants/supermarkets/marina etc Couldn’t fault any of the Villa… Filipe is a great host and is very helpful on arrival and keeps in touch if you need anything throughout your stay. We had a great holiday, we will definitely be back!!!

Fabulous property in a great location

Great property with so much space. Filipe sent over loads of useful information before our stay and sorted it out so we could leave our bags early at the property. The bed rooms are all very spacious with ensuites. Kitchen has everything you need. BBQ area is great and the fitness room is very well equipped. Filipe was easy to get in touch with whilst we were there. There was a problem with water pressure one day - one whatsapp message and we had a reply withing ten minutes that the council were carrying out work and the problem would be resolved soon and it was. The beach is ten minutes walk and is lovely and about 15minutes away is BJ's beach bar that serves delicious fresh fish and makes great cocktails - make sure you book if you want to go on a Saturday lunch time! Final mention goes to George - the driver that Filipe recommended - an absolute gent who was incredibly reliable and nothing was too much trouble.
