Beach Villa at Portiragnes

Booking our stay at this property in Portiragnes proved to be a great decision. The booking process was easy and communications with the owner, Regina, were straightforward. The information pack that we received before arriving was very useful and helped us plan our holiday. We are a family of 5 with children aged between 8-12, we found the villa to be very spacious and well maintained, the layout was perfect for the kids and our daughter loved the balcony bedroom. The living area that opens onto the large patio was great at meal times and the kitchen was very well equipped. The complex was quiet and secure so we had no worries about the children playing outside. The pool was very well maintained, with a guard on duty at all times and was never too busy. Portiragnes has fantastic beaches and the small town/village is quiet but has some nice bars, shops and restaurants. We found that this resort is well placed to explore the beautiful countryside, including the Canal du Midi locally, and also has a great selection of towns and cities within a short driving distance, to explore. Overall we had a fantastic stay and hope to return again soon.

Super sejour

Bonne communication avec la propriétaire qui nous a fournit toutes les infos nécessaires pour notre arrivée et départ. La maison est parfaite avec tous le confort nécessaire, juste une petite demande : l'installation de la climatisation serait la bienvenue. Le jardin est superbe . SUPERBE VILLA

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans notre villa .Elle est bien situé non loin de la mer .Il y a tout le confort nécessaire ,malgré la chaleur il y de nombreux ventilateurs .Cependant nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine suite à un probleme technique et sanitaire dommage.

Super villa avec jolie terrasse ombragée

La villa est très bien équipée en intérieur (frigo américain, nombreux ventilateurs...) comme en extérieur (grand salon de jardin abrité par une végétation généreuse, grand coffre à jouets de plage, séchoir parapluie). Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et réactifs.

De superbe Vacances

Nous avons passée un super séjour dans cet villa loin de la foule des villes de bord de mer , nos trois petites filles se sont éclatées (Piscine le matin , mer l’apres midi et au retour de nouveau piscune° La villa est bien est bien équipé et conforme à l'annonce. Nous avons fortement apprécié l'espace terrasse ,la piscine et la proximité de la plage (a peine 10 mn a pied) et de nombreux restaurants. En Bref, pour nous, c'est un endroit idéal pour passer les vacances. On tiens aussi à remercier les propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur ecoute. Cordialement Daniel

Hi Jaqueline, Thank your for your review. I am sorry to see that you stay was just pleasant. I understand that you may have been a little uncomfortable with the excessive heat this season as it has been extremely hot. It must be said that at no stage had we advertised or implied that air conditioning was available or installed at our property.There is an ample supply of fans available at all times.As for the keys,we have found ( past experience with sets going missing ) that one set of keys works better and is less confusing.There is a secure area available to use for the keys. We are a little disappointed to see that we have lost 2 points (your score 3/5) for something that was really never advertised.

As this was our first visit to the South of France we were so lucky to have spent it in this Villa in Portiragnes! It has given us taste for more! We are a Family of 5, our children are aged 8, 6, and 4. The Villa itself felt very spacious due to its clever lay-out. The private Patio area leads into the kitchen and living area, where all of the equipment one would hope to find in a kitchen was there, and more. Downstairs a double bedroom and bathroom, upstairs a cosy room with 3 beds for the little ones, a "balcony" bed and a further bathroom. The Villa was, in its entirity, clean and tidy. We felt we had a lot of space and were not on top of eachother the whole holiday because the patio offers a large area to play, sit, read, etc . The pool is basic but was concipated presumably with the idea that it is only going to be used to have a dip to cool down, which is what we frequently did. The enclosed aspect of the complex made us feel safe to let the children walk around alone and explore and play. Both the pool and the complex were extremely clean. Portiragnes itself is an 8 Minute walk from the Villa, the beautiful long beach also about 8 minutes by foot. It is a great place to enjoy a quiet evening meal, ice cream or crepes, or to look at the handful of "tourist" shops, and also to be used as a base to visit many other places along the coast and inland, which we did. Communicating with Regina has been a pleasure. My emails were answered within a few hours at most and the information package was extremely useful for us. Thank you once again for making the booking and organisation so simple. All in all... 14 days of pure relaxation! We are definitely going back again!

Huset var rigtig fint. Det var rent og pænt.Haven var lukket. 1 km til fin sandstrand.

Boligen ligger i et lukket område. Der er en p.plads til boligen. Nøglen var i en boks ved huset. Dejligt. Huset er fint med 2 værelser og en hems med 2 sovepladser. Der er lille pool på pladsen. Haven er rummelig og skyggefuld. Afstand til stranden er ca 1 km ad en stille gade.

Beach and Site seeing holiday

An excellent home, with plenty of space for 4 adults and a child. All the comforts of home had been thought of, so much space you never felt "hemmed in". It was very clean and very well presented. The beach and amenities were all within an easy 5 minute walk, but the village was close to many historic sites. Perfect venue for Site visits and relaxing. Excellent fish restaurant on the beach- a must!! Would recommend without hesitation. Alastair September 2015

Great beach holiday1

Just returned from a great week staying at the villa. Really good location for the beach, cycling along the Canal du Midi and generally having a relaxing time! The villa has everything and is very comfortable, kids and adults all had a wonderful time, thank you!

Perfect location

Thank you for a lovely holiday in a well equipped home. The location was perfect- easy to walk to the beach and to the surrounding restaurants. Unlike the neighbouring beach resorts the traffic was not a problem and it was not too touristy. The children loved the pool; swimming in the sea and the neighbouring attractions at Vias plage (Go Karting, Euro Park and Crazy Golf). Many areas of beauty to visit nearby (which we did) and a truly wonderful time had by all. Would definitely visit again.

Ideal Place to Relax & Enjoy 2 weeks

This was our 2nd visit - which only goes to show how much we enjoyed our first. The villa has all the amenities - lots of space and large outside area with barbecue and large table and chairs. We enjoy going out for meals - there are lots of places locally, but also really like to have a barbecue with local produce and a bottle of wine. The kitchen is very well equipped which saves me bringing the kitchen sink!! Also, the pool is close to the villa. Lastly, for us the beach is an ideal walk away and we love to go for walks along the beach, particularly in the morning when it is fairly quiet - very often to Serignan Plage. We would like to thank Sam and Regina for their hospitality and also being on call if needed.

Fantastic Holiday

Four Adults and 2 Children ages 6 & 8 Great location and offered everything we had hoped and more. We loved being able to walk to the beach and it was perfect for the children as not as busy as some of the neighbouring resorts. We felt the villa was very well equipped and really felt like home from home!!
