Marvellous location over the rooftops of cotignac, in the city though calm. A couple of minutes to walk into the center. Marvellous view from the terrace and the pool over the city and into the hills and landscape, sun from 8am to 7pm. The house is not posh or stylish but provencal and functional. And, who is in the house if you are there...
We had such a lovely stay in Cotignac. The small town is charming and has absolutely everything from bakeries, butchers, grocers, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, cafes, local markets and so on. It felt friendly and quaint and not at all overloaded with holiday~makers, thus perfect for a stay in times of COVID.
In terms of the property, this is located just a five/minute walk from the village, on a plateau overlooking the amazing Troglodite rock formations and caves. There is a splendid view from The garden and terrace and we spent a great deal of time simply relaxing by the pool.
The apartment itself again has everything you would need for
a Comfortable stay. Kitchen is great for cooking! The space is small, quite compact (Especially for a family of 5) and there is not a lot of storage space, but lends itself to perfect outdoor living.
One additional bonus is that there is an excellent wine producer at the end of the road!
Perfect!
Terje's place is wonderful, surely one of the best locations in Cotignac. Very close to the village, but also separate and secluded. Fantastic views to the rock, village and forests. Terje was very helpful in settling us in, full of information, and fixed one or two small issues at the property quickly and graciously. It's an amazing place for a holiday.

I`am living in Norway. I have 3 grown up children - two of them are living in Oslo the capitol of Norway and one in USA - NYC. We all enjoy being in Provence. Coming to the sunny and most beautiful Provence in the South of France is always a great experience. I`am running my own business so I have the possibility to go there almost every month. I do hope also you will enjoy the beautiful house and charming village called Cotignac
We spent a lot of our time travelling to the South of France - Provence and the charming village called Cotignac. There we have an old house which used to be an Silkfactory - La Magnanerie in French. We love the area because it is always nice and sunny weather (from our point of wiev) - coming from the cold and rainy weather in Norway. This are some of the reasons why we bought this fantastic house many years ago. We have also built a nice swimming pool and restored most of the house. During the autumn we also have som drapes which tastes nice and sweet. Please enjoy it.
The house is lying only 1 hour drive from Marseilles or Nice. The village is small and very charming with nice shops - 3 bakers - bars - several restaurants. During the winter season you can even go to the Alpes for skiing and in the afternoon having your bath in the Mediterranean sea. For walkers it is just marvelous - a lot of routes in the area. A lot of vineyards with superb wines. You will absolutely love it and have the siesta lying by the pool.
