Cette superbe chalet appartement nouvellement construit est situé aux Carroz, France. Seulement une heure de Genève, le domaine skiable du Grand Massif comprend Flaine qui possède le meilleur record de neige de toute station de ski non-glaciaire dans le monde. L'appartement a été fini à un niveau très élevé avec la spécification grande surface gazonnée à l'avant, idéal pour les bains de soleil et de détente. Situé dans un endroit calme, au centre du village traditionnel des Carroz est à seulement dix minutes à pied où vous pourrez profiter des boutiques, des cafés agréables et le marché hebdomadaire. Depuis le balcon de l'appartement il ya une vue magnifique sur les pistes de ski, les montagnes environnantes et le village des Carroz. Ce brillant, appartement de trois chambres est situé au rez-de-chaussée où vous trouverez également un casier à ski privé. Un excellent service de navette gratuit (qui arrête à votre porte) vous emmène à la nouvelle télécabine à grande vitesse et de remontées mécaniques qui sont à quelques minutes.

Great location, very comfortable apartment

This was our fourth visit to this apartment building and our second in this rental. It is the perfect location for us: by a ski bus stop, a short walk from town, and opposite the local spa. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. Thanks Lisa and Robin!

Excellent for a ski break

We were 7 adults sharing for a short ski break and it was perfect for our needs. Clean, warm and comfortable, well-equipped kitchen and games cupboard. Very convenient for the ski lift, with a bus stop just outside. Short walk into town, but very quiet around the apartment. We really enjoyed the aquacime across the road, too. Thanks very much!

Fabulous chalet in ales Carroz, perfect for friends and family. Good location and well appointed.

I can’t really fault this chalet on the edge of Les Carroz. Situated just a 10 minute walk from the village centre and has all the amenities required. Lovely comfy beds and heating piping hot in what was a very cold stay in January. We were a party of four guys and it suited us perfectly but would also work for a families with young or older kids. The chalet had everything required, with lovely hot showers and a great kitchen and lounge space if not spending time dining out in Les Carroz. Lisa was extremely helpful answering any questions promptly and providing helpful advice on bars and restaurants. Would definitely book again.

Family Ski Break February 2023

Lisa (the owner) is very helpful and responsive and was very understanding when we had to cancel our original booking in 2021 due to the pandemic. The apartment is well situated in a quiet part of town and at the start of the ski bus route, this is very useful in busy ski weeks. The apartment also benefits from a ski locker room. Key pickup and drop off is easy and convenient. We used the apartment as two families of four and it served us well for the week. Les Carroz is a lovely traditional French ski resort that is family friendly with nice bars and restaurants. I have visited Les Carroz many times and would use this apartment again.

Fantastisk ophold

Hyggelig velholdt veludstyret lejlighed perfekt til stor famile eller mindre gruppe. Vi var syv venner. Rolig flot placering i charmerende by med rigtigt godt udvalg af restauranter. Skibus hver 15 minutter lige til føren. Kort tur til kabinelift uden kø. Lisa er som vært imødekommende og svarer omgående på spørgsmål. Alt var som forventet. Et enkelt toilet er nok i underkanten når man er 7 personer.

Très bon sejour

Accueil très sympa avec des petites attentions (fromage petit bouteille de vin rouge..) à l arrivée. Gestion de l appartement très bien bien réalisée ( clefs, casier, ...) et appartement bien équipé. Loueuse très arrangeante en periode de Covid 19. Appartement certainement plus ensoleillé l été. Très bon séjour !!

Great week as usual!

Only 2 things to note, dishwasher was full of dirty items on arrival and keys were not ready for collection at 1600, had to wait until 1700. Neither of these were a problem, just wanted to let you know.

Lovely cosy apartment

The apartment was better than we expected. It was lovely and cosy and views were amazing! It had a 3 good sized bedrooms and a great comfy sofa! The coffee machine was great. Home from home :-) There was a big lawn area outside the apartment where the children could play in the snow. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the village (cutting across the fields) but the free ski bus was great which ran every 10/15 mins into the village. The bus also went straight through to the gondola which again was perfect. The village was great with pubs, cafe and a good supermarket. We had a fantastic Christmas here. We would most definitely return. Thank you Lisa for having us stay.

Nice apartment close to ski lifts

Clean and spacy apartment with everything you will need. Decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Ski locker included. Only thing missing: a boulangerie around the corner ;-) for those nice croisants. Contact with owner was nice with quick replies. All in all a good base for exploring the Grand Massif ski area

Lovely appartment and all rooms were clean and tidy. Plenty of space for a family of 4-8.

Had a very relaxing holiday is Les Carroz. Plenty to do in the summer. Went to Lac de Passy where you can see Mont Blanc in full view. Explored the mountains by taking a cable car in Les Carroz. Stunning scenery. Les Carroz has plenty of amenities including bars, restaurants and local shops. We particularly liked popping to the boulangerie and patisserie in the morning. Les Trappeurs as a charming little apartment with all you need for your stay. It does not have a washing machine however. The apartment was clean and plenty of space and the kids enjoyed all the board games available. The local spa, Aquacime was a real treat and enjoyed the heated pools and grassy area. Would definitely consider returning to Les Carroz for another holiday.

Good quality apartment in a good location.

The apartment was very typical of the MGM type apartments you find in lots of resorts. There was plenty of room for our party of 6, the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean when we arrived, there were a couple of housekeeping issues which were resolved within 24 hours of arriving, the owner and the agent were very responsive. I would recommend the apartment to everyone. The only minor niggles were typical of every apartment or cottage I have ever rented, if you like to cook (like I do) there are never any half decent knives! The ones in this apartment cut at an angle but were at least fairly sharp. Just a couple of ordinary kitchen knives and a sharpener would have been great. Oh, and the peeler was pretty awful. But theses were just minor inconveniences, otherwise the hob, oven and appliances all worked well and were clean. Were were right at the end of the season and even thought the town was very quiet it was difficult to get tables at the pizza restaurants. L'Agora and Le Poirier only serve take aways after 9.30pm for some reason. The Marlow was our regular and the food is good, reasonably priced, and great service. You might find the menu a bit limited. Other restaurants were pretty expensive. This time in Les Carroz we found the best supermarket to the be the Spar just down the hill towards Le Lays. Larger than the ones in town and with a better choice. And they are really friendly. It has been a few years since we were last in Les Carroz and though it has really grown it is still just about retaining it's French charm. One of the ski shops has gone really upmarket and they were quite rude to us when we went in to browse and it was clear we couldn't afford any of the clothes but otherwise everyone was really friendly.

Review Feb half term 2016

We've been to this resort several times and keep returning. We spent more on our accommodation this time however, and weren't disappointed. The apartment was light, spacious, clean, warm and well equipped. There was noticeably ample storage, shelving and lobby space. It's also ground floor which makes unloading the car after that long drive so much easier. (Parking available though not allocated) Having three bedrooms meant we were all private, each having an external window. The living space is central with all rooms leading off from it and is not cramped. The dining table was plenty big enough for six, and the kitchen well equipped (lots of big pans for larger parties etc) Two showers, on a ski holiday with six, proved essential, although there is only one loo, and not one in the ensuite, oddly. The ski bus was a new experience for us, but is only at the end of the drive and delivers you to town or the gondola without complication. (Last one home at 7pm, so great for a last minute shop, and/or beer in town) The walk to town is about ten minutes and scenic through the park. We ate in every night as local supermarkets have everything you need and re-stock daily. The leisure centre whilst handy and lovely, was sadly beyond our budget. Overall we would recommend this apartment and resort.

Picturesque Setting

Excellent location very convenient for the free shuttle bus into the village and the ski slopes. Well equipped chalet with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage. Separate boot room area for skis and boots. Landlady is easily contactable with very efficient booking and deposit return. The in resort management for key collection was easy too. A pretty traditional skiing village makes Les Carroz an ideal holiday destination.We have been winter holidaying in Les Carroz for a number of years it is a great skiing area with slopes for all abilities.

My name is Lisa and I live in Dubai with my husband, Robin, and our two children Callum (15) and Zara (13). We moved from Switzerland to Dubai over10 years ago. We miss the mountains and visit our property in Les Carroz whenever possible. We are a British family who have become used to moving around the world due to our work commitments.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We visited Les Carroz on a day trip from Chamonix and fell in love with it's year round traditional alpine feel. It is a small resort but offers a range of facilities which would be found in larger less personal resorts. Les Carroz has access to some of the best skiing in the world but still manages to maintain a small and friendly atmosphere. It also has a vast amount of activities on it's doorstep and many places to visit nearby both during the winter and summer. It's accessibility was also important - only 40 minutes drive from Geneva and driving from UK or Europe is relatively easy as it is connected to main highways and public transport links.

My husband and I were boyfriend and girlfriend during our day visit to Les Carroz. We were so impressed with the apartments and surrounding area we decided to buy one! The apartment is in a quiet location but close to the village centre and all of it's amenities.
