The apartment was lovely..clean, airy and bright with a great view over the estuary. We had everything we needed and Sarah had provided clear, concise instructions to both the apartment and local amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we had worked out the car parking and would highly recommend the property to other families who are looking for an excellent base In a very picturesque town from which to explore Cornwall.
Booked only at the last minute as our original accommodation was cancelled due to storm damage. This house was ideal for us and I wished we had booked it in the first place. Loved the fact that the bedrooms were on 2 levels as we came with grown up children.
We had an exceptional few days at River Views....helped by Sarah's prompt support, advice and guidance notes. The apartment had everything you could ask for with fantastic views of the river & surrounding area. It was ideally located for accessing the numerous places of interest in the local vicinity and further afield and within a very short walk to the numerous pubs & restaurants in the quaint village of Fowey. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it as an idyllic spot to spend some time in beautiful Cornwall.
We stayed here for a weekend for my partners significant birthday and enjoyed every minute.
The apartment was clean, warm and homely. We spent a lot of time just watching the ferry cross and watching the water world go by.
It's close to all shops, restaurants and amenities. Parking the car in the little car park just down the road was simple.
Contact with Sarah was easy and Fowey was a little town with a big heart.
We will definitely stay at Riverviews again.
our weekend was very special.
Amazing location, great wee place for a holiday. Excellent communication by Sarah.
We had a great family break in Fowey. The house was perfect for our first trip to Cornwall. Our girls 5&7 loved the books and games available and we thoroughly enjoyed being by the river.
There are a good couple of flights of stairs to get luggage up which is worth knowing particularly with smaller kids. The kitchen is cute with sloping roof so be careful if you are tall! The only other wee thing is that we couldn't see any salt, pepper or soap in bathroom so make sure you bring your own!
Overall lovely stay thank you.
We had a wonderful week here at the end of September. The apartment was so full of light, that even when it rained one day, it was a pleasure to sit in and watch all the comings and goings on the river. The stylish decor and scrupulously clean accommodation added to the enjoyment of our stay. The location was also perfect, a short walk into the heart of Fowey with its wide range of restaurants and good pubs. We particularly enjoyed dining at the Old Quay House and sipping an aperitif on the terrace.
There were many great walks nearby across the headland and with stunning views of the river. The walk to Golant was one of the best with lunch on the terrace of the Cormorant hotel being a highlight.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone and will definitely return.

four of us spent 3 days at seeview . the apartment was specious, clean, bright, well equipped, and has a fantastic see view from the little balcony.
centrally located .we can't fault the place.highly recommended .
Was a wonderful apartment in a brilliant location and we would recommend it to anyone. The only downside is the amount of time it's taking to get our refund back!!! Still waiting and we've been home 9 days..........
I picked up the property totally at random, on a budget basis, the only think I knew was that I needed a place to stay in UK with my kids. It could have been Scotland or Wales or anywhere else in England, we ended up in Fowey, Cornwall with absolutely no tips a where we were going. The discovery was delightful, Fowey in itself is wonderful with its perfect mix of sea and river life, beautiful architecture and surroundings, with so much to do, one week wasn't enough. We bought a top guide at the tourist office, "12 dramatic walks in Cornwall" which was a perfect random choice as well, we only had time for 4 walks, all different and truly dramatic views : around Tintagel, Bodmin Moor, Fowey and Polruan, Polperro... and we couldn't miss the Eden Project which was really enlighting. All with teens of 14 and 16, who never complained to be bored. The flat is perfectly situated, very cosy with lots of light coming in from the numerous windows. We would recommend it to anyone.
River Views is a lovely light and airy property with a small but sunny balcony over looking Fowey Estuary. It was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week's holiday and the owners were very helpful.
Fowey is delightful with plenty to do and see whatever you are into. The walking is excellent and it is very easy to hire a boat for an afternoon. There are also some lovely beaches nearby. There are lots of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable with lovely views over the river. We were a party of two couple and found the apartment had everything we needed and within walking distance to all restaurants and bars.
River Views was an ideal apartment - tastefully and comfortably furnished and very well equipped - a real home from home. The location was perfect with stunning views of the River Fowey - always something to watch on the water.
Fowey is a delightful town with many good restaurants and fantastic walks - we barely needed a car as most transport was either by boat or on foot!
Fowey river views has fantastic views of the estuary. Any time of the day you can see a variety of boats going past from dingeys to container ships. It's location in fowey is great, ideal for walking to a variety of restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay !

My husband Neal and I live in Warwickshire with our two children. I have been going to Fowey since before we were even dating; we used to work together and he sold me a holiday in River Views! (which his parents then owned).
We have been regular visitors to Fowey over the years, whether it's the excitement of Regatta week or a quieter break in the winter months. Our children have come to love Fowey too and over the years have enjoyed the simple pleasures of building sand-castles, crabbing and rock-pooling. We all love to get on the water by kayak or boat and explore the river, spotting the various birdlife and even occasional dolphins and seals! We also enjoy walking around the area, exploring the beautiful Cornish coastline (our favourites are Hall Walk and walking The Saints Way to Polkerris). And of course, whilst in Fowey, delicious Cornish ice-creams and cream teas are a must, along with fun evenings at Samâs restaurant.
My husbandâs parents put River Views on the market in 2009 and we thought this would be a great opportunity to keep it in the family (it was built in 1892 by my husbandâs great-great-grandfather). The lounge was originally my husbandâs bedroom when he was growing up. We love to visit Fowey as a family and hope to do so for many years to come.
Fowey is a very special town, which has become much more fashionable in recent years (with a few famous residents now!). It has still retained its original charm with colourful cottages, narrow winding streets and river life. After a great day exploring Fowey and the surrounding area, we love to relax and watch the boats on the river; we think River Views is the best spot in town with activity all year long.

River Views is just 5 minutes walk from the town centre, just far enough away as to not be disturbed by the revellers in the summer months. But still with in easy reach of the many fine restaurants, pubs and shops. River Views is close to two car-parks, which is great, as parking is at a premium in Fowey (not really being designed for cars!). The views are amazing, you can't help but relax watching the life on the river! We hope all our guests get as much pleasure from River Views as we have over the years.
