Vous pouvez le voir sur Villa Gaeta (James Bond Casino Royale tout le chemin à l'étourdissement Bellagio. Entouré de montagnes parsemées de villages pittoresques vous aurez à vous arracher à profiter de tous les plaisirs du lac a à offrir. Cet élégant appartement de 3 chambres a été conçue avec à l'esprit pur plaisir. Jardin privé avec des oliviers et une pergola de jasmin couverte. Dînez nside ou hors, mais toujours entouré de lumière et une vue de rêve sur le lac. il appartement bénéficie également d'une piscine partagée avec encore plus de superbes vues panoramiques sur le lac. Chaises longues à la fois à la piscine et à la terrasse de l'appartement. L'appartement est joliment meublé dans un style contemporain avec tout le confort moderne. Les photos ne font pas tout simplement la justice à la maison. 200m2 + appartement 3 chambres inc. Doté chambre principale avec terrasse privée et salle de bains et un grand salon à aire ouverte.

We stayed here for 5 days. Everything we look for in a stay that long, this home had it. Definitely need a vehicle to get around from this location. Would recommend for a 4-5 person stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this property overlooking the lake. The views are stunning. Peaceful location & short drive to Menaggio. Very clean & good communication from Barrie, Julie & Cinzia. The pool was the icing on the cake.

This is a lovely property. The views from the apartment are breathtaking and loved waking up to it! The owners are wonderful and kept in touch with us, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay stress free. Overall, great experience.

Our family trip to Lake Como Italy

Our stay in Menaggio was exceptional! A beautiful view of the Lake and mountains from our villa and the pool also had a wonderful view! We loved eating outside under the arbor. We had drinks at night on our deck overlooking the lake. We had something to do everyday from renting a scooter and visiting different towns on the lake and stopping at restaurants and wine bars! We hope to come back one day!!!

Great location. Wonderful views but neighbor chain-smoked and fumes drifted up to our balcony. Having washing machine was a big plus. Apartment could use a detailed cleaning. We killed spiders, crickets and stink bugs daily. Pool was nice but skimmers were clogged with leaves and making loud noises. Rooms were comfortable. Communication with Barrie was warm and welcoming. Communication with Julie was transactional and, at times, off-putting. Some details need to be added to VRBO listing like 350 cash deposit due at check-in, guest registration required on another website. Representative was 15 mins late the day of checkout. Some issues with thermostat (heat was on when we arrived and had difficulty getting it turned off), info binder needs to be updated (WiFi password).

Thank you for taking the time to add your review Peter. Unfortunately the pool is closed in October, as advertised online, hence the pool is not maintained in this period. The home is professionally cleaned before every arrival. To confirm there is no damage payment to make on site as this is handled via vrbo. The wifi code has been updated, apologies there was a storm and the system was updated and password amended which is supplied to every guests on arrival. I apologies for keeping you waiting on departure. Check out is 8 to 10am and we our agent arrived at 7.10am for your amended 7am departure, delayed by traffic. Unfortunately as the residence is not a a private villa we cannot control neighbours however we ask our guests to advise us during their stay if any issues to address so we can assist where possible during your stay. We do seek to offer pro-active action during the course of your stay and indeed before your arrival with many tips and recommendations for the area and home shared with every reservation. I am sorry if you found our communication lacking in any way. This was not our intention and we appreciate your valued feedback as we strive to offer excellence for every stay.

Best Lake Como Apartment - breathtaking view

It was a toss up between two houses when i was looking for an apartment at Lake Como, the view won! This house in up hill as opposed to right on the water, hence the view is breathtaking. Although i would recommend that you get a rental car if you want to stay here, i did see people walking up and down, but a car would make your stay here very convenient. The house itself is spotless, three bedrooms, large living room and dining room, two terraces and garden....everything you could possibly ask for to enjoy your lake vacation. Barrie is a great host, easy to connect with when we had questions but left us alone to enjoy when we were all settled. Short drive to downtown Menaggio, where all the restaurants, gelateria, ferry dock, boat rentals are, super convenient. We think Menaggio is a very good base for us to explore lake Como, it's relatively smaller than Bellagio and Varenna, but we like that "live like local" feeling, especially after the last ferry left, it's very very nice. And i have to mention that it's very safe and kids friendly, we traveled with our 5 year old, she had so much fun and the girl at ice-cream shop knew her by name:)) Other than all the villages, a few activities that i'd highly recommend: 1. rent a boat from AC boat rental (right in Menaggio) to drive on the lake, we did it twice because it's that good, priced reasonably 2. if you are golfer, check out the Menaggio golf course on the hills, you could rent all the gears at a reasonable price, we did 9 holes and it was fantastic! We enjoyed our stay so much that we miss it already!

Stunning views and great service

Menaggio is a very good location as a base camp if you want to enjoy Lake Como for a week. Its central location means everything you want to do/see is easily accessible either by car or by boat. The “Casa paradiso” was the perfect place to stay, providing stunning views from dawn to sunset. Everything else about the house is absolutely fine as well, large and comfortable living room with an open kitchen, 3 bedrooms, garage, etc. but the view is by far the number 1 attraction of the house. Unbeatable! Barrie is incredibly helpful throughout the process providing you with clear and timely advice to make sure you make the most of your stay. I would recommend 100% and would definitely come back next time.

Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.Schon die Anreise war unkompliziert: Die Unterkunft war sehr leicht zu finden, und besonders angenehm fanden wir die sichere Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Gebäude hinter einem abgeschlossenen Tor.Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Das Apartment selbst ist sehr großzügig, bietet unglaublich viel Platz und ist sehr angenehm ausgestattet. Unser absolutes Highlight war das Master Bedroom mit diesem fantastischen Blick über den Comer See – einfach unschlagbar. Aber auch vom Wohnzimmer und von der Terrasse aus ist die Aussicht wunderschön.Die Terrasse war überhaupt etwas ganz Besonderes. Seitlich gibt es einen herrlichen Essbereich, der von einem wunderschön bewachsenen Gitter umgeben ist – fast wie eine kleine private Enoteca. Ein unglaublich schöner Platz, um morgens zu frühstücken oder abends bei einem Glas Wein zu sitzen.Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Zimmer angenehm und mit schönem Licht ausgestattet, und das WLAN hat während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend funktioniert. Der große Kühlschrank und das vorhandene Gefrierfach waren ebenfalls sehr praktisch.Ein kleiner Tipp für zukünftige Gäste: Da der nächste größere Supermarkt nicht direkt um die Ecke liegt, würden wir empfehlen, vor der Ankunft bereits ein paar Einkäufe zu erledigen – zum Beispiel Wasser, Kaffee, Milch und etwas fürs erste Frühstück. viel Spass !!!

Leider war das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht sehr gut. Die Ferienwohnung war mit 4,5 tausend Euro im August für eine Woche nicht günstig. Vor Ort kamen noch 360 euro für Kurtaxe und Endreinigung dazu. Die Lage empfanden wir als nicht gut. Zur Promenade etc ist es sehr weit weg und zu Fuss kaum zu schaffen. Es war dreckig, viele Spinnen und den Pool mussten wir erstmal stundenlang von Blättern befreien. Alles bereits in die Tage gekommen. In das eine Kinderzimmer regnet es bei Regen durch einen Riss in der Wand rein. Wir würden dort nicht noch einmal Urlaub machen wollen. Die Umgebung ist aber sehr schön

Thank you Sarah for your review. The advert recommends hiring a car as we state it is a a 25 minutes walk to the village or a 5 minute drive. Final cleaning and city tax is communicated with the reservation and cleaning paid via the site. The home is professionally cleaned and the home has been upgraded ahead of the season. We urge guests if any issues to contact during their stay in order that we can attend at the first opportunity. The pool is reguarly cleaned by the pool maintenance co, unfortunately as the home is located next to trees and nature leaves can blow into the pool from time to time especially if there is a storm as was the case during the course of your stay.

Ein zauberhafter Ort den man einfach nicht mehr verlassen möchte.Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und bietet reichlich Platz für 6 Personen. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut und die Umgebung ist ruhig, so daß man sich gut erholen kann. Da es aber so viel schönes in der Umgebung zu sehen und zu tun gibt sollte man das Haus auch öfter mal verlassen. Die Abwicklung war reibungslos und sehr freundlich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Amazing Stay

The views we simply incredible. Breakfast under the covered patio had a beautiful breeze in the morning. Evenings on the front patio with the most amazing views. Fireworks across the lake and a double rainbow were some of our favorite evenings at the apartment. The morning swim was a great start to the day. We saw a few other guests but never felt we lacked any privacy and normally had the pool to ourselves. The twin beds were a bit too firm and more hand towels would have be helpful but we would love to book another stay here. Hopefully soon. Barrie had great tips on things to do and was easily reachable. We didn't want to leave.

Stunning view from lovely apartment

The apartment is set up above Menaggio, it is a walk of about 25 minutes to reach the town ( and the boats to other towns !) There is a cut through part of the way so you don’t have to walk by the road . The walk is worth it simply because of the view from the apartment- simply stunning. The town of Menaggio is pretty and the ferry takes you to any other places in the lake, loved Bellagio and don’t miss Villa Balbianello. The apartment is large and well cared for , the garage is an extra bonus .

Stunning Location - Beautiful Property - Great Hosts

Barrie and Julie were wonderful hosts and the property couldn't have been any better suited for our friends to celebrate Christmas. Home was well-outfitted with plenty of room to socialize or to enjoy relaxing, quiet time. Great to have dedicated parking garage and just a quick trip down the hill to Mennagio's village center, ferry stop and easy access to other villages along our side of the lake via car.

Wunderschöne Wohnung, unglaublicher Blick auf den See. Süßer kleiner Garten mit schöner bewachsene Pergola zum im Schatten frühstücken. Der Verwalter Berrie ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hat uns mit vielen wertvollen Tipps versorgt. Immer wieder gerne!

Fabulous holiday

Unbeatable views of the lake - the property is up a big hill so we used our car some days to drive into town. The welcome was second to none - shopping delivered to the property, lots of helpful hints on local restaurants/activities. Stunning location and fabulous holiday! Thank you!

Lovely apartment with amazing view

We stayed for a week at this property and the manager (Barrie) was very welcoming with lots of great advice on where to go to get the best out of the week. The view from the apartment is exactly as the photo's show but so much better in person. The apartment was of good quality with everything provisioned for to either chill out or cook at home. The swimming pool was nearby (and well maintained) and the apartment even came with a spare fridge and garage area to keep a mid size car. There were two restaurants within walking distance (one of them number one on Tripadviser (trattoria la vecchia magnolia) and the main town was either a 5 minute drive or a more industrious 25 minute walk. A great week and Barrie was always on hand to offer advice as required.

Stylish Apartment with million dollar views

My second stay in Menaggio and after the first I was very keen to stay up the hill this time and fully enjoy the breath taking views. The view at Casa Paradiso is simply jaw dropping, I have not seen a better view anywhere. The view has an amazing peacefulness to it that seems to instantly wipe away memories of the daily rat race we came from. Sitting on the balcony on a Friday evening with a bottle of wine, watching fire works and all the activity around the lake was magical. Casa Paradiso is a short but solid walk to town due to it being mostly up or down hill depending on which way you are going. There are some great restaurant’s a very short walk from the apartment. We decided the La Magnolia Trattoria would be our morning coffee stop before our various adventures around the lake. However it soon became our regular for everything once we found out how good the food was. It was only later in the week that we found out it was the number 1 rated restaurant on Trip Adviser. The apartment is huge and very well furnished. Plenty of room just to relax and soak up the atmosphere of a wonderful place. There really is nothing bad I could say, just the perfect place to stay around Lake Como.

Room(s) with a view

The wonderful thing about this apartment is that it just lends itself to chilling out completely. The view of Lake Como from this apartment must rank among the best and the wonderful thing about it is that you can sit and admire it all day if you wish. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner looking at the view, you can even lie in bed at night and look at the view. There is plenty to do on the lake and plenty of places to visit but when the apartment is so comfortable and so well-equipped, from time to time it is so nice just to chill and do nothing. When you do want to go out, however, Barrie has plenty of advice about the best places for the apero, the best places to eat, the best places to buy your wine and your olive oil, it makes everything such a pleasure which is what holidays are all about, and why we return every year.

Menaggio is one of the most sought after villages on the shores of lake Como with a beautiful promenade full of flowers, shops and restaurants plus lido with two pools. There is a real local feel to the place. Meandering cobbled paths, a weekly market with superb local produce and seasonal ingredients, in additional to the pool at the home there is also a wonderful brand new lido to take in the sun and swimming pool to cool off next to the lake. Here you can also enjoy more majestic views over to Bellagio, hop on the ferry to Varenna to visit authentic wine and cafe bars and superb home made gelateria's to name just a few highlights.
