Thank you for taking the time to review our property. During your stay, I'm sure you can appreciate there were several power cuts due to the bush fire situation. While these fires where no danger to the villa, the power cuts do play havoc with the hot water timer. A simple call to our villa manager would have sorted that for you, as it did with the guests that followed you but we are sorry you didn't mention it. Our information guide does state how often the pool man calls and when that is likely to be. As he enters through the garden early in the morning and is minimally intrusive, we feel there is no need to give guests a specific time as these may vary anyway. As his visits are regular and the pool is small, there isn't much for him to do so visits are brief. Our cleaner had reported to us that she had been unable to carry out her full duties during your stay as there seemed to be more guests than expected staying and at the times she came there simple wasn't enough room for her to work. She was concerned things had not been up to her usual standard but had to work within the parameters available. We do kindly ask guests to accommodate our cleaner where possible so she can do a thorough job but it can be difficult to work around people in a small villa. I'm sorry it wasn't possible to get everything right for you on this occasion especially as our maintenance team usually get such good feedback. (See other reviews)

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your holiday at Ionian View. We take on board all comments passed on to us and are always happy to make changes where necessary. The only point I wanted to make is that we have two small children (4 and under 2) who we have taken to the villa since birth and have never had a problem with suitability, in fact we spent nearly a month there in the spring, although we appreciate it might not work for everyone on the whole guests who have stayed with young children have been absolutely happy. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to hear from you again in the future. 😁
