Cette charmante villa a un grand nombre de clients fidĂšles qui aiment tous sa situation paisible tout en Ă©tant proche de la plage. Le salon / salle de vie ouvert plan a des fenĂȘtres françaises qui ouvrent sur une terrasse couverte donnant sur la piscine, avec cuisine d'Ă©tĂ©, barbecue, boissons rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, table Ă  manger et un coin salon confortable. La grande piscine en forme de L en mosaĂŻque, (profondeur 1m Ă  2. 5m, chauffĂ©e en basse saison) est entourĂ©e d'une zone pavĂ©e avec des chaises longues et dispose d'une clĂŽture de sĂ©curitĂ© pour enfants. Il est clĂŽturĂ© parking pour 3 voitures. Les installations comprennent un accĂšs internet wifi, un grand rĂ©frigĂ©rateur / congĂ©lateur amĂ©ricain, lave-linge, et TV / DVD. La villa est Ă  seulement 6 minutes Ă  pied de la plage de sable "du Grand Boucharel", et se trouve Ă  1km de la belle plage de sable fin de La Gaillarde, avec restaurants, bar, boutique et superbe plage bar / restaurant. La ville la plus proche est St Aygulf (2km, grand marchĂ© deux fois par semaine), et Ă  3-4 des Issambres. Autres villes Ă  proximitĂ© de FrĂ©jus-St RaphaĂ«l 10km, Ste Maxime 10km, 20km et Port Grimaud St Tropez (25km / bac disponible). Le grand parc aquatique «Aqualand» est Ă  seulement 10 minutes en voiture le long de la cĂŽte, et Ă  proximitĂ©, vous trouverez des sports nautiques, tennis, golf, kayak (sur le fleuve Argens et aussi le kayak de mer) et beaucoup plus. L'Ă©tonnante Gorges Du Verdon est d'environ 1. 5 heures de route, et nous sommes Ă©galement Ă  proximitĂ© de Cannes, Antibes, Monaco.

C'est une trÚs belle propriété, trÚs bien organisée et bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont discrets et serviables. Il y a un peu plus de 7 min pour la plage, mais la localisation est excellente. Superbe piscine. Globalement, ce séjour a été au dessus de nos attentes.

Un havre de paix avec une superbe piscine et proche de toutes les commodités

Grande maison idéale pour 2 familles avec plusieurs enfants. Les cinq chambres permettent un superbe accueil et avons pu loger à 4 adultes avec 7 enfants sans problÚme. La maison possÚde une magnifique terrasse à l'hombre avec une bel avant-toit, un gril en pierre et un frigo. La piscine est idéale pour les enfants et trÚs bien sécurisée. (ouverture impossible pour les enfants en dessous de 6 ans). La maison possÚde un bel espace salon avec un immense frigo américain trÚs apprécié en été pour les glaçons. Wicky et Gilles qui veillent sur les lieux ont été trÚs attentifs à nos besoins et sont trÚs dévoués. Les plages se situent à environ 1 km sont trÚs belles et le village de St-Aygulf à env. 2 km est magnifique et riche en restos. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce bien pour toutes celles et ceux qui souhaitent passer de bonnes vacances au calme mais néanmoins proches de nombreuses balades et activités. Nous y retournerons certainement en 2019 si Dieu le veut l'année suivante.!!!!!

Excellent accommodation , excellent location

We arrived very late but Vicky & Giles were there to meet us and nothing was a problem. The standard of accommodation really was of the highest standard and quality - the pool is superb . We had a superb week ( used as a base for Euro 2016) and would recommend to anyone . Would suit families or those, like us, who are happy to be in a more peaceful area with beaches and sun!

Lovely, relaxing and near the sea

We rented this spacious, clean and relaxing property for a week last August (2010). We were three adults and two small children and it was very good for a family vacation. It was safe with gated pool and no access from the outside to the property. The caretakers were very friendly, professional and discrete. The proximity to beaches, supermarkets and boulangeries were excellent. We had a very restful and enjoyable time which is quite an achievement with a 2 year-old a 5 year-old and being 30 weeks pregnant. Never again a hotel room with children! To sit and gaze at the stars while the children are safely tucked in is luxury. I can definately recommend this propery. BĂ©atrice and Paul Nurse

Holiday heaven

This will be the third year that our family has stayed at the villa. It is ideal for us, grand parents, son and daughter with their children- 6 adults, 3 children and a baby. The location is good, close to beaches- a nice sandy one at St Aygulf not close enough to walk though. Plenty of shops for food and basic necessities. We didn't eat out but Giles and Vicky will happily recommend local restaurants. As they are on site should there be any problems they can deal with them promptly-such as when we had a dishwasher mishap. The icing on the cake is the swimming pool and it's surround where we spent many a relaxing day. We're not all sun lovers but we always found a shady spot. The outdoor kitchen was utilised fully. We always ate out there and often cooked - men's prerogative- the barbecue! The fact we're going for the third year speaks for itself. I didn't like to recommend it before in case it became too popular and we wouldn't be able to book!

Very enjoyable

We had a lovely time at this villa. It is spotlessly clean and is very well equipped. The pool is fabulous and a great size, as is the verandah/BBQ area. All beautifully maintained by the hosts Giles and Vicky. The villa is set in tranquil surroundings but within easy access to local amenities, sandy beaches, cafes, restaurants and bars. Vicky and Giles have an excellent knowledge of the local area and were very helpful in offering advice on places to visit during our stay. They made us very welcome. I can highly recommend a holiday at this lovely villa and look forward to meeting Giles and Vicky again this summer.

Beautiful area

This highly impressive villa is located brilliantly, providing seclusion and peacefulness. It not far from the beautiful beaches and gorgeous scenery of the south of France. My sons loved the very secure pool with total peace of mind they could not access this without an adult. The ample space and very good facilities meant we all were able to access good bathroom facilities. The added feature of a grass area meant the children had plenty of space and secure gates and off road parking added to the security of a lovely warm and sunny holiday. The excellent support and information added to the relaxation and the hosts were brilliant and helpful. This villa catered superbly for our family and friends needs and wish we were back there enjoying the sun, beauty and fabulous resort. Thank you highly recommend dawn

Beautiful Villa / thoroughly enjoyable experience

We recently stayed in the Villa. It is idyllic oasis of charm situated in the foothills overlooking the beaches near St Aygulf The Villa has 5 bedrooms and was more than adequate for the 4 adults and 4 kids who stayed there (could comfortably accommodate 10). The villa is very close to the beach, and there are numerous other beaches within a short driving distance. Our kids spent every morning and evening in the pool The Villa is very clean and well maintained and Giles and Vicki greeted us on arrival and were always available to advice re best beaches restaurants if needed The villa is two hours from the Gorge du verdon (well worth seeing) and the lavender fields (Driving in France can be an experience!!) Every night we were serenaded by the birds and frogs (honestly its actually not bad) and you may even see wild board in the woods opposite the Villa All in all we would warmly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the South of France.

Villa Bois des Chenes

My family and I stayed at Villa Bois des Chenes for a week at the end of August. The house was perfect: very well maintained, nicely decorated, very spacious (5 good sized bedrooms), well equipped kitchen, lovely outside dining area. The children loved the pool, which was big enough for races. The house is a few minutes by car from the coast, or a 10-15 minute walk downhill. There were several nice coves to explore at the bottom of the hill. Giles and Vicky were enormously helpful. I highly recommend the villa.

Relaxing week in the sun

We rented the villa for a week this summer and had a great time. We shared it with another family and together there were 6 young children. The villa was exactly what we needed - lots of space, bedrooms and the outside pool area fantastic. As you can imagine we spent most of our time around the pool area and visiting the local beaches. The location of the villa was also very good as it was in a quiet residential area. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality, affordable holiday in the South of France.

The villa was all it promised and more, neither the details nor the images published are sufficient to fully do justice to this property. Images and words cannot convey just how peaceful and relaxing a holiday we had, the silence only broken by cicadas and the evening frog chorus. From the moment we first made contact with Vicky & Giles, we had nothing but efficient and helpful service. Upon arrival we were met with a refreshing cold drink, and furnished with all the relevant information we would need. Vicky and Giles then melted seamlessly into the background and left us alone for two weeks of relaxing bliss; available should we need them, and discreet when we did not. The villa itself, gardens and pool, were all spotless and maintained to the highest standard, with good attention to detail, including large parasols for when a little shade is needed, large comfortable cushions for the loungers, with the additional outdoor fridge providing those much needed cold drinks by the pool. Recommended for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

THE PERFECT FAMILY VILLA

We have rented villas in the area fo a number of years but this is certainly one of the best we have stayed in. The first part of our holiday was family based including small children and the second part consisted of a group of friends. The villa was perfect for either situation. The villa is very comfortable, not overlooked by neighbours and included every amenity we needed (including full access to both French and English TV channels and entertainment for the children). The pool is large with a security fence so we could relax knowing the children were safe. And the covered terrace with drinks fridge and built in grill is the perfect place for family meals (as well as 'BBQ & rosé'!). The bedrooms wereall of good size, simply furnished but with everything we needed and the bathrooms and indeed the whole house spotlessly clean. The whole experience was certainly helped by our charming hosts Vicky and Giles - who welcomed us with a glass of bubbly and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We will certainly rent this villa again!

FANTASTIC FUN FAMILY HOLIDAY

Really nice Villa for a get away from it all holiday - away from the bustle and hustle of the towns which are easily reachable by car (a necessity). Great hospitality from the owners to be met with a glass of "sparkles" on our arrival. They went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed Very safe for the children - with us there was a 3 year old and a baby - really safe pool - which is fantastic The whole house, pool and garden is kept really nice and clean and has everything that is required to make you holiday comfortable and pleasant

Holiday Heaven

The villa was exactly as advertised and ideal for the type of holiday we were seeking. A large party with 5 small children we were able to make good use of the well contained pool but were within easy striking distance of the water parks and beaches when required. Likewise the supermarket was an easy 10minutes by car. Vicky and Giles were really helpful explaining how everything worked and ensuring we were met with a much needed bottle of fizz when we arrived. An excellent venue and one we would use again.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a stunning part of the Cote d'Azur, with beautiful (and often quiet!) coves (calanques) all the way along the coast between St Aygulf and Les Issambres. The villa is in a peaceful and private setting, so you can choose to simply relax by the pool and enjoy BBQ's/long lunches on the terrace, or if you prefer an action packed holiday, you can choose from a number of watersports available nearby, plus tennis, golf, cycling, waterparks, go-karting any many more activities. There are numerous vineyards in the area, and inland you will also find beautiful villages and scenery, including the stunning Gorges Du Verdon. The villa is a great base to explore the region.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Most guests comment on how quiet and peaceful it is while staying at the villa, which is set down in a dip, and therefore not overlooked by anyone else, with the only noise being birdsong and the cicadas! But it is within easy driving distance of St Aygulf which has everything you might need, and also Les Issambres.

When we say the villa sleeps ten, that's what we mean - there are no pull out beds/sofa beds etc, unlike many properties. It is also a genuine family friendly property, with a secure locking child gate/fence round the pool.
