The place was beautiful and clean! We had the best view from the porch area. Betty greeted us and had the refrigerator stocked with starter food and beer! We would return without hesitation.

Beautiful veiws

Immaculate beautiful apartment with everything you need, pool area, views and most of all space. The st Lawrence gap strip is on your doorstep but in the apartment you hear nothing. Lastly the people of this island are so friendly and helpful thank you Barbados you didn’t disappoint .

Wonderful apartment, great location. Has it all!!

The owner of this property has been charming and helpful right from my first enquiry with him a number of months ago, and having booked it for our lovely family holiday, first time in Barbados, it did not disappoint. Thank you.Accommodation was spacious and comfortable, clean and wonderfully prepared on arrival. A thoughtful welcome pack..for which we were very grateful, and a convenience store next door to fill any gaps. Dover beach is a short walk away and lots of shops and eateries all around. It was easy to hire a car and have it dropped off at the apartments own car park.The weather was great and lovely to hear the ocean on a balmy evening whilst sitting out on the verandah.I thoroughly recommend.

Exceptional Stay

This property exceeded our expectations, creating an unforgettable experience for our family vacation.Nigel thought of every detail to ensure guests feel welcome, including a thoughtful selection of essentials waiting for us when we arrived. We were warmly greeted by Betty, who gave us a tour and answered all our questions. The condo itself is outstanding—spotlessly clean, spacious, peaceful, and equipped with everything we needed, plus the view from the balcony is simply stunning. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Gap, and a quick walk to Dover beach.

Pre Christmas Vacation

The Mistle Cove condo is centrally located and view of the ocean from the terrace was beautiful. The condo had all the amenities and was very clean. Our host Nigel has thought of everything including a care package of essentials upon our arrival which was beyond our expectations. We had a wonderful week enjoying the beach and pool at the condo as well as Dover Beach which was a short 3 min walk from the condo. We would highly recommend staying at Mistle Cove!

Perfect Place in Paradise

Our flight put us in at midnight so we did not meet the beautiful Betty until check-out day. But we had no trouble finding the condo or negotiating the locks and codes - even though tired and generally confused after almost 20 hours door to door. The best part of arrival was finding some delightfully thoughtful Welcome amenities (especially the beer and starter bottle of rum!) that allowed us to enjoy our first night out on the deck in style. I had a rum on the rocks and my partner enjoyed a beer while we sat and listened to the waves hit the beach in our shirt sleeves & shorts. In the morning we had eggs, toast, fruit, coffee (and milk!) courtesy of Nigel. The location of the condo, right in the heart of The Gap, was perfect as we were able to walk out for drinks and dinner without the hassle of transportation. Many nice places within steps of Mistle Cove. The condo is beautifully furnished, equipped and cared for. The view is a perfect wedge of the beach and the ocean. For swimming, we suggest walking a half block to the calmer and bigger beach (look for the Pure Ocean sign). Note that the little convenience store right next door does charge for the convenience. We cannot remember if the pint of ice cream was $20 or $30 but, either way, we didn't need it that bad! Not a lot of prices on display so hard to know what your total will be. We had a car so did go to a Massy grocery store to get provisions which were reasonably priced and had a big selection.

Perfect location, beautiful condo

We had an awesome time at Mistle Cove. Everything is right outside your doorstep, including shops, bars, and restaurants. Beach and pool right out back. Condo is clean and everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Fourth time staying in Barbados and it won’t be our last!

Nigel was a very kind and friendly host. He was always readily available to respond to our questions. The house was clean with a beautiful view. The location was very convenient with restaurants nearby. There is also a small convenience store next to the property. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay at Mistle Cove 101!

Just stay here when you are in Barbados
you will LOVE it! This property far exceeded our expectations, and our family had the most wonderful stay. Nigel is a superb host and has thought of everything – including leaving us a few essentials upon arrival. We were greeted by the lovely Betty as soon as we stepped out of our taxi. She showed us everything we needed to know. The condo is exceptional
very clean, quiet, spacious, so comfortable, and has the most incredible view. It’s in a fantastic location, right in the Gap. We were able to walk all over or take the bus anywhere. This is the only place we will stay when we are in Barbados. Can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing Holiday

Our 11 night stay was simply perfect. This was our first time to Barbados. Mistle Cove is paradise. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The condo is so clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We walked everywhere and took the buses around the island. We never felt we needed a car. Betty the housekeeper was so helpful and Nigel had some essentials for us upon arrival that we thought was so thoughtful and welcoming of him. We will be back !

Highly recommended

It is easy to say this place exceeded our expectations. The combo of the beachfront unit and St Lawrence Gap location gives you peace and quiet, while nightlife, great restaurants and other beaches are just steps away. The layout of the unit is very spacious and the bedrooms are well separated. The view from the deck is even better than the photos suggest.

Amazing Vacation!

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! The location is perfect and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and beaches. The property is gated and we felt very safe the entire stay. The view from the condo is breathtaking and we enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning watching the waves. The pool and gardens are beautiful. Check-in was easy and both Nigel and the property manager were very kind and responsive. We can't wait to return to Mistle Cove!

Loved it!

We loved our stay at Mistle Cove! The apartment and it’s surroundings were beautiful and just what we needed for some rest and relaxation. Lots of restaurants steps away and Dover Beach a few mins down the road for lovely walks and ocean swims. Several days we saw turtles swimming close to our Mistle Cove beach! We will be back!

My name is Nigel Warrilow and I am the owner of this wonderful apartment in Mistle Cove, Barbados. I first came to Barbados on holiday as a young teenager with my parents and brother and and we all fell in love with the island.
I am now lucky enough to be semi-retired, having formerly been an avionics technician in the RAF and latterly a director of a UK audio-visual integration business. It has been a dream fulfilled to own a property in Barbados and I currently split my time between Longcross in Surrey and Barbados.
Over the years on holidays and more recently living here, I have gathered lots of local knowledge regarding the best places to eat, explore, visit, shop, cycle, hike, fish and kitesurf, which I am always happy to share with my guests!
I try to ensure that my family, friends and all my guests have as much enjoyment here at Mistle Cove that I also have. It truly is a little taste of paradise.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The location is great!
It is hard to adequately describe in words or photos just how wonderful the view is from the patio.
The apartment is spacious, light and breezy and well maintained with stylish, modern furniture. The master bedroom is particularly special as it has great views directly in to the garden the sea and patio doors opening on to the balcony.
It is professionally managed and I have an excellent housekeeper. Externally the property, gardens and pool are well maintained by the property managers, gardeners and specialist contractors.
I have spent many wonderful holidays here with family and friends enjoying the warm clear water, stunning evening sunsets and the occasional sighting of a turtle laying her eggs on Mistle Cove beach and baby turtles hatching.

The location of Mistle Cove is unique in many ways, it is a benchmark high-quality property on the South Coast ideally positioned close to, but not disturbed by the nightlife in the St Lawrence Gap.
The property consists of only 14 spacious apartments and is gated at the front and secluded, benefitting from an almost private beach and each unit has wonderful views over the private garden, beach and the ocean.
