Entièrement meublé maison lac 2400 pieds carrés situé sur le spectaculaire lac Mississippi. 5 chambres 2. 5 bains. Construit en 2006. Céramique et bois dur au rez-de-chaussée, tapis dans les chambres. Isolé 134 pieds de rivage avec quai. Equipé de BBQ, kayak, canoë, vélos et raquettes. Ceci est notre chalet de famille et géré par notre fils Byron. Comprend un quai où vous pouvez lancer de petits bateaux. Il y a des lancements de bateaux pour les plus gros bateaux à proximité, y compris un quai public à Carleton Place. Cette propriété est face à l'ouest et a de beaux couchers de soleil. La qualité de l'eau au quai est la meilleure du lac avec un accès confortable pour les petits enfants. Notre maison est entièrement meublée, propre et prête pour vos vacances. Si vous avez besoin de quelque chose, faites-le nous savoir et nous pouvons vous accommoder. Visitez notre capitale des nations, Ottawa, lors de votre visite ou de la ville historique de Perth. Beautiful views, short drive from Stonefields

We stayed for an extended weekend for a wedding at Stonefields with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The hosts were accommodating and thoughtful with kids activities. Less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue. Beautiful views of a serene lake with amazing sunset! Outdoor space equip for relaxing and play. Short drive to Carleton Place for groceries and playgrounds. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Get Away

My 4 sister's & I had an excellent sister's week at the Kazda Lake House. Serene, peaceful, beautiful view with spectacular sunsets. A stunning home with 5 spacious brdrooms Would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a vacation to remember.

Great Gathering Place!

We were a family that gathered because of the passing of our mother. It was a wonderful place to celebrate her life. The lakefront property was a perfect setting to reflect and build memories. The house is spacious which allowed all of us to move about easily. The large kitchen area allowed for more than one cook at a time. A lot of planning and design went into this house making it a huge upgrade from what you’d expect from a lakeside cottage!!! When after the first day we were already discussing how we could meet here again, it indeed left us with great memories. Thanks again Michael & Byron

Wonderful mini vacation

We rented the cottage for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage itself had everything we needed and it was also nice to be close to Perth and Carleton Place for a little exploring. Loved the comfortable beds.

End of Summer Kayaking

Nice large property and lake house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were exceptionally beautiful and clean which deserves a rating of 5. However the rating of 3 was given due to the lack of maintenance to the house exterior and the lack of proper cleaning of the kitchen appliances. The owner has compensated for us for our cleaning of the appliances. We appreciated the owner getting back to us promptly. The kayaking was great and the sunset views were spectacular.

AMAZZZING!

The property was amazing! We had 7 adults, there was plenty of room for privacy, yet close enough to enjoy family time. The house is beautiful! It had everything we needed and more. The house is in a great location between quite on the lake enjoying boating, swimming ,fishing and relaxation. We took our boat, so having the dock was perfect for exploring the beautiful lake! It was just a short ride to shopping, restaurants and an hour from Ottawa. We took a great tour of Ottawa. My sons went on many hiking trips! There is plenty to do!!! Michael was great to communicate with, god knows I must of drove him crazy with all my questions! He was very quick to respond and VERY pleasant. Already booked a return trip! If you are looking for a place on a lake, THIS IS THE ONE! Thank you Michael for sharing your home with us!!

A wonderful place to stay with everything you need to have a great time

The LakeHouse is fantastic. The amenities are more than you would expect and the grounds are perfect. The water is warm with an easy walk in for children. It’s deep enough by the end of the dock to bring your own boat. We did!! ( we rented one from the dealership in Perth) The house is just that, a luxury home, well appointed and very roomy. At night we spent time on the patio by the fire pit and in the enclosed gazebo. During the days we spent hours on the lake and in the sun. We had guests as young as 2 and as old as 86 and the place was perfect for all. Thank you Michael for a week of wonderful memories. We will be back!!

A Gem at the End of The Road

The week we recently spent at the Lake House could not have been any better. The property is exactly as described - a spectacular home on the lake. The house itself is completely furnished with everything one could need, the bedrooms and beds are comfortable and the living area spacious. While we spent very little time indoors other than for sleeping and cooking, it has lots of room to spread should the weather not cooperate. The property is large and quite private with lots of room for pets to roam and kids to play. The use of the kayaks, canoes and bikes lends to the attraction. The huge outdoor table easily seats all plus guests, and we ate all our meals here. As stated above, the Lake House is at the end of the road - traffic is almost non existent and one feels somewhat off on one's own. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, well maintained property with

Great location, beautiful clean lake, gorgeous home equipped with all the creature comforts you’d need or want. Older kids had days of fun on the water with kayaks and paddle boards. Beach area for younger kids is small and you need water shoes as there are lots of rocks in water near shore. We were 7 - 3 adults, 2 teens and 2 younger kids. Lots of space, both in and out. Overall, a great place to get away and spend quality time with family. We would definitely consider returning.

Wonderful family memories made here

The lake house is in a wonderful location, the setting is lovely and Perth is within easy reach (if you do go, we highly recommend Coutts Coffee Roastery & Cafe). We swam every day, had some day trips to nearby towns and nature reserves and had some lazy days enjoying the lake. There was plenty of room for 3 generations and a dog and much fun was had by all on, off and in the water. The lake house is well equipped, clean with comfy beds, lots of places to curl up with a book inside and out and space to run and play outside. If it had rained, I think there would have been enough space inside too. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. A beautiful setting to make some wonderful, lasting family memories.

WOW! Everything and more

Please take the opportunity if you need a vacation near Perth ON! The home is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, clean and very spacious. The soundings are perfect for your get-away and the water toys at your disposal are amazing. The owner and property manger are fantastic and easy to work with, we really had a great time! Wonderful property!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The home is beautiful, the setting is idyllic and the sunsets are amazing! There is really nothing lacking here... the water toys (canoe, kayaks), the BBQ. fire pit and screen in gazebo with super comfortable couches and chairs. The home is fully equipped and the dealings with the owners couldn't have been better. A truly great place for a family getaway!

great lakehouse rental

We had a great stay here. They had a beautiful set up in the backyard and lots of space for 8 adults and two dogs. It was nice that they had a canoe and a kayak to use as well. Great place! Would definitely return!

Quiet and Relaxing

My bride and I were seeking some R 'n' R for a few days away from home. This place did not disappoint. With the exception of the odd snow machine, it was like we were the only ones on the lake. Our dog was welcome and she was content running around on the lake. We had family take the short drive from Ottawa to visit us for a night. The house was complete with all necessary amenities and some. We could have just packed food and drinks. Thank you for sharing your family retreat with us.

A Real Gem

Our three night stay at this lovely VRBO was one of the most enjoyable weekend getaways we've ever had. Michael (the owner) was super easy to deal with and Byron (his son) was available when needed. This beautiful home was so clean and well stocked that we didn't need many of the things we brought with us, ie: cooking pots, nice wine glasses, cooking utensils, etc... The location itself is spectacular but unfortunately the weather was not very nice, so we spent almost our entire stay indoors. But hey... what comfortable indoors they were! The only issues we had were firstly, finding this place; my GPS sent us to the opposite side of the lake! And secondly there was a plumbing problem, but Byron was so great to deal with it quickly and efficiently that these two issues really turned out to be non-issues. The property itself is exactly as described, the bedrooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable. As mentioned, the kitchen was very well equiped and the common living space was inviting and relaxing. Sadly, we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful lake but would love to come back and try again. The quaint little town of Perth is only a 15-20 minute drive and has everything we could have possibly needed; all staples plus a wide variety of restaurants and pubs. One place that we went, that we actually would have passed by if we hadn't checked it out on Yelp, was The Hungry Seven; a little roadside diner that isn't much to look at from the outside but WOW, what great home cooked food! Check it out! If you're looking for an all-around great place to stay, this Home on the Mississippi won't disappoint. Loved it!

Great cottage

We had a wonderful time renting this property for the long weekend. The house had been thoroughly cleaned beforehand and easily accommodated 7 adults. The beds were comfortable and the backyard was great, with easy access to the water and a spectacular sunset in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Australian Visitors

What a magnificent house. My family and I could not have asked for a better house, it was very well equipped, great for entertaining and using the lovely kitchen to cook some special cuisine for our Canadian family was wonderful. The location was fabulous with views and surrounds that were just perfect. Waking up to such a perfect view and being able to sit outside for a relaxed and peaceful breakfast each day was lovely. Visiting the nearby town of Perth was lovely and it was such a quant place with beautiful architecture. The owners of the house were great to deal with, coming from the other side of the world it was very important for us all to be comfortable where we stayed for the days in Canada and it was lovely how we were considered as special tenants by the owners. I highly recommend the property for anyone who wants a house that they can enjoy and be away from the city life but close enough to amenities if needed.

We purchase this cottage to be our lifelong place to meet as a family. We have so many memories to share and new adventures to have. We grew up in Carleton Place and spent a lot of time on Mississippi Lake at our friends cottages so this was the ideal place to think of retiring. Until we do retire we can share this lake house with your family and we are sure you will create a wonderful vacation memory.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We searched the area for a cottage property and wanted the best water on the lake, quiet surroundings and west facing. We found all of this at 100 Beck Shore with the added benefit of an expertly crafted home so there is little maintenance. Hence our description lake house instead of cottage.
