Great Stay over Labor Day Weekend!

What an incredible rental! The host makes it feel just like home. Everything you think you'd need in a rental is provided: utensils, spices, cleaning supplies, extra bedding, toiletries, coffee supplies, etc. The beds were very comfortable with high quality mattress pads. The hot tub was excellent! And the host even left us homemade cookies. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Property was very clean inside and out! Beautiful (large)yard with visiting deer and fawns every morning. Sunlight filled the bright, spacious kitchen each morning. Location was great- easy to find and close to town for convenience. Communication with the host wads easy! Very friendly and welcomed us with fresh baked cookies! Home is older and a bit dated but comfortable and had games, movies and books to read. Beds Stairs to basement were very steep .very comfortable and hot tub was great! Yard had play area for the kids and a bricked patio and picnic table (older) plus small table and chairs for eating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for families.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the clean home, bright kitchen, and yard with its visiting deer, and that the hot tub and games made for a comfortable stay! The home was built in 1910, so it carries that older, “Grandma’s house” feel to it. There are handrails all the way down the stairs, which makes them easier to navigate. This property worked very well for our needs as we stayed here and traveled using this as a base. The property was quiet, peaceful, and even had deer grazing in the yard. We will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay! The fully furnished kitchen was appreciated. The host was kind and went above and beyond supplying games, movies, books, cookies and coffee. We loved the hot tub! Excellent location and good parking.

This was such an amazing little house, fully stocked, clean, lots of space, loved the Hot Tub! We will be booking again!If you are traveling for hockey- the rink is 1 min drive!

I love this place!

We take an annual trip to hike into Goldbug Hot Springs and this is our favorite place to stay. We have booked 3 times and love this cozy spot. It is always very clean and the little touches, cookies & ice cream to name a few, are always appreciated! This trip there was a new hot tub! It has been the perfect getaway for years, I wouldn't even look for another place at this point. Thank you Marva!!

Amazing place

Absolute gem of a place to stay. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. We even had a deer coming lay down on the lawn as we soaked in the hot tub. Great all the way around.

Great rental

This house had everything we needed and was perfect for our family for a weekend! I’d stay here again in the future. Beds were comfortable and kitchen extremely well stocked.

The house is awesome, has everything you could need and more. Hot tub was clean and nice! Everything very clean. Beds a little uncomfortable but overall we had a good experience.

Excellent stay!

We loved our time we stayed here! The home was so charming, well stocked, comfortable beds, and clean. The owner was very responsive and kind. She even left us yummy homemade banana bread upon arrival! The hot tub was so nice to relax in. Would love to stay here again!

I cannot say enough great things about this host and property. Marva put so much thought into making this the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The home was spacious and clean with a wonderful backyard/garden area. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

A clean and comfortable stay

This is the second time my family has stayed here. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Close to the center of town and in a very quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication and the check-in process was easy. We will definitely stay here again!

Pleasant little place

It was great. The house is comfy. The hot tub is great. The only slight complaint is there's only the one bathroom so if you have a few people, it makes it a bit tricky. Other than that it's perfect.
