Very nice accommodations within reasonable walking distance of downtown Portland; on quiet street in very walkable neighborhood. Very nice coffee bar awaited us in the apartment, and there was plenty of room for 2 couples and 1 adult child. Had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing visit to Portland, which we absolutely loved (even though the weather didn't cooperate). Overall EXCELLENT Vrbo experience.
Great place to stay with a small or medium group of people to experience Portland. The process for checkin/checkout is made simple and the host is responsive for any concerns.
The space was clean, spacious, a very close ride into Old Port and our activities for the weekend. Would recommend to any group traveling to Portland! The host was also friendly and quick to respond to all messages.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our Portland getaway and stay at Sokreths home. It was very clean and perfect for our family of six. Our 13 year old girls loved the twin beds in the nook off the master bedroom. The location was also perfect! Would definitely recommend staying here!
Be prepared to lug things up (3) flights of stairs, but was fine but not ideal. There are (3) Queen/ King beds but the (2) additional twins are more like cots, very low to the ground. There was very minimal kitchen equipment. We couldn't find a baking dish or anything similar. The TV really didn't work and we were snowed in, so again not ideal. A quick uber ride to restaurants but not within walking distance. They were great about taking care of the snow and very quick to respond! Overall, we had a wonderful time but seems like the space is intended more for a Bach or group not spending much time at the house.
One of the best features of this apartment that I did not realize when I booked was the proximity to Back Cove which is a lovely cove less than a 10-minute walk to a the apartment with a 3.5 mile trail. The location was great with parking and walking distance to grocery stores. A seasoned walker can also walk to the center of city and piers for a 30ish min walk. I was worried about the steps for my octogenarian family but they did fine. Anyone familiar with a trinity would be familiar with the stairs. We were in need of light blankets because temperatures dropped a bit and they were delivered to us right away. Host was very responsive and we appreciated the apartment very much.
My wife and I, and our 2 friends stayed here for three nights and were VERY happy with it. Super clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much anything you would need. They had COFFEE, and some snacks and water supplied. The A/C was amazing (being from Ca we were NOT ready for that humidity, so we def appreciated the A/C). Old Port is only about 1-1.5 miles away. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative⊠and Iâm only putting this here, because I would want to know if I was older or disabled. It is on the 3rd floor, and thereâs no elevator. The stairs are pretty narrow and steep, so if you are older or have disabilities, the third floor unit probably isnât for you. Other than that, it was amazing.
The place is nice, clean, and the location is perfect for what we were looking for. It can sleep 10 possibly, but I definitely would not recommend it. It would be way too cramped. There really is no place for more than 5 or six to sit around the living area, the counter, or the table. On the house rules info, they ask for 5 star reviews, and for the place to look exactly as found, out of respect to the next group renting and the cleaning crew. All dishes washed, dried, and put up before the 10 am check out time. That part get tough if you plan on making breakfast, then clean up, run the dishwasher, wait till it finishes so you can put up the clean dishes for the next renters. They do charge a decent cleaning fee, for the size of the place, on top of that.
The best part about the property was the three bedrooms and the super convenient twin beds directly adjacent to the primary bedroom. Having two full bathrooms was hugely helpful for our family group with 5 adults and two kids under 12. The kitchen was a really nice size for an apartment. The bedding in the bedrooms was very nice and charming, and the curtains and wall color looked very appealing.
The stairs are not fun. They are very narrow and steep and are a lot like climbing a spiral staircase. There are a couple of steps in need of improvement, too. If you are only staying for a night or two it would be a good idea to bring up only the necessities so you donât have to schlep all of your luggage up there.
If you have very small children or anyone with balance issues, bad knees, etc you may want to see if one of the other properties this host offers is a better fit so you can avoid the stairs.
If youâre like us (stairs are just fine, if annoying) and you have need of three bedrooms and two full baths, this is a great option. Rose Foods is close by, definitely recommend that, and the house just a 8-10 minute drive from downtown, so itâs really convenient. Much better than two expensive and small hotel rooms!
The showers need a bit of TLC but the bathrooms are otherwise good.
The apartment is well stocked and very nice in a great area. Overall highly recommend this for 6-8 people - would be tight with more. The communication and property description were spot on. Showers worked well and bedrooms were nice. Property is convenient as well to downtown.
Only suggested adjustments are small single beds are creaky and ice machine didnât work well and there could have been more large glasses for water.
This was such a clean and comfortable place to stay while exploring Portland. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and this was the perfect size. The rooms/beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great and we appreciated all the little amenities and supplies (coffee, shampoo/soap, etc). Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice, fully remodeled apartment with all necessary amenities and really nice touches: Keurig machine with ample supply of different coffee capsules, snacks, condiments etc.
Excellent wifi, access to Netflix.
Just know that it is on the 3-rd floor with narrow stairs
Otherwise, prefect for out 2 night stays with 2 families
Short drive to Old port
The property was clean, comfortable and updated. The only downfall is that itâs outside a reasonable walking radius to the city. We were there over July 4th and there was minimal Uber availability, so we needed our own car. Great trip!
Really enjoyed our stay. 4th bedroom was more like a nook off the main bedroom but even with that, it was super comfortable and would definitely stay there again.
Great central location in Portland, lots of extras in the unit that added to our value, we had an excellent stay & the communication with the manager was amazing. Highly recommend for families!
My friends and I live in Boston and frequently visit Portland. We decided to rent a house since it was several birthdays that we were celebrating and could not have asked for a more convenient, clean and beautiful place to stay. The host was amazing and provided everything we could need and more. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful space!
Spent the weekend with 4 of our friends
The place was terrific clean and exactly what was represented
Perfect location minutes from everything
I cant say enough about the Place,
