Great house. My daughter and her wedding party stayed here and had plenty of room including for five stylists doing hair and makeup in the downstairs spaces. Great natural light for that. Proximity was great for wedding at Arrowhead Lodge. HOst was great to work with, even adding extra day on the last minute. Great place. Great stay.

This is a great older house with appropriate patina. It is well provisioned and was very comfortable for our family group of nine. The grounds and location are terrific, although it can be a little noisy outside when there are races at the nearby track. The host was very genial and responsive.

We had a very nice weekend. The home was wonderful for what we needed to do lovely place for a group of seven or eight people. That’s close to many things around the area. Will definitely go back if I ever need a place to stay in the Syracuse area.

The pictures in the ad are definitely not the same as what the house looks like now, missing stair rails where children can fall through, ripped furniture, the patio furniture was tattered and some scratchy to even sit on, tiles missing off kitchen counters and up most of the stairs, non working lamps, missing screens in most windows and the house was absolutely not cleaned very well, we had to clean out the refrigerator before we put our food in it. Loved the big yard but you couldn’t walk anywhere without stepping in goose poop. Dock was great for our jetskis. Definitely not worth the 589 per night.

Great Place for large group!

We had a terrific time. House was perfect for our large group. The house has a "cottage" feel - comfy, relaxed and suitable for all ages. The front porch is a gem and the yard is huge! Would definitely recommend for groups that are looking to have an enjoyable time!

Dan was a great host! The house was super large, with enough room for everyone to spread out. The kids loved the outdoor fire pit and all the video games. I would certainly stay here again in the future.

Great week

We had a fantastic week! The house was large enough for our group of 12 adults and the location was perfect! Dan was an exceptional host - extremely responsive to questions or issues. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Fantastic, clean and comfortable stay!! The house was massive with more than enough room for our group of 9. We didn't have the best weather during our visit so we were grateful for such large common areas and we were not crowded at all. The property was fantastic and we enjoyed walking the waterfront. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We were visiting Liverpool/Syracuse and it was a very close drive and easy to get to. Can't recommend enough, we are already looking forward to our stay next time!

The property was easy to find and plenty of parking. The host was available and responded in a timely manner. Basically the home wad comfortable and welcoming.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! The pictures were beautiful but not at all what it was. We cou;d not get in, code would not work. Finally got in through an open window by the time host contacted us. The sink in the kitchen was falling into the sink. The stairway railing was missing several pieces of railing, which was dangerous. The place was dirty, stuff in the sink, Cheerios on the floor, disgusting hair on the bath mats. Towels(what little there were) were musty smelling. There was no outdoor trash receptacle so the trash just sat outside in the sun and rain. We killed two huge spiders in the house and there were cobwebs on a lot of the screens with spiders in them. The grill was so full of grease and pine needles that it caught fire and the flames were 3 feet high. There was poison ivy growing right up next to the house. The patio furniture was way past second hand and we were afraid to sit on it. This place has a great dock and location but is desperately in need of repairs. Sent the host a message asking for a 50% refund but was told could not do that much after checking out. He said we should have called him and he would have send the cleaning company back. Why would we want to spend time there with the cleaning company when we spent 1800.00 and were only there Monday afternoon through Thursday morning. It should have been clean when we arrived!

Home is in great location. The property ia in need of TLC and a good cleaning. Furntiure ia old and broken down. Tiles on stairs are falling off, tile in kitchen is broken in several areas. Beds were comfortable.

Large Group Getaway

This home accommodated 12 adults comfortably; there was plenty of space! Our group enjoyed the huge back yard with access to the water. We purchased firewood at a local store and sat around the fire pit enjoying s’mores. It is conveniently located near restaurants, stores, golf courses and so much more. We ordered pizza from a place just down the road one evening. The host was excellent with communication! He even allowed us to have additional family members come visit for a few hours one evening. Check in was easy. The home has old charm but has all the modern amenities. We would stay here again if visiting the area.

8 friends and myself stayed here for a girls’ weekend. We had an amazing time. Dan communicated well. We found the house to need an extremely good cleaning. When I arrived I swept all the floors. The house is extremely dated and all the walls, floors, baseboards, windows, outside area needs a good cleaning, weed trimming etc. The grill worked in some areas, but not all burners. We did not reach out to Dan to let him know since we made it work. He did say to let him know if issues. If we had let him know of our concerns regarding cleanliness we would have likely had to leave due to needing a long time to clean up.
