house was clean enough beds for us all and they upgraded the outdoor furniture since our last visit 2 years ago when some off the outdoor chairs were ripping and they also upgraded the boat dock area

Lake & River views. Very beach friendly for kids. Kitchen was well stocked. House was clean & family friendly. Grand kids tried fishing (but to much 4th of July boat traffic) & we rented a boat to take them tubing. Also went tubing down the Sturgeon River. Rescued a baby bird floating down the river. Had dinner of Buffalo at Hack-Ma-Tack for a last nite. We would do it again. I grew up on Silver Beach Mullett Lake so this ticked all boxes.

The location was fantastic. Beautiful lake for boat cruising, tubing, and hanging out. Not great for fishing but we knew that beforehand. Our kids (4yo-11yo) loved the lake. We rented a pontoon and tube from the marina on the lake. Communication with the host was great when we had questions. The place was very clean and the space was nice. We came during a week in August when the weather was just perfect. The bedrooms upstairs would get warm during the day but we opened the windows in the evening at night and that cooled everything down. Fans in every room were helpful. Some creature comforts were missed considering the cost we paid but overall we had a wonderful time.

Amazing stay!

We had a celebration of life for my mom and a family gathering for a week at the house. The property is amazing, super clean, and a gorgeous space and location, on both the river and the lake.We LOVED our stay.

Great Family Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed a lot of time on the water. The nearby restaurants were very good and it was a short drive to Mackinaw City to jump over to the island for a day. I would definitely recommend.

Great Location and fun family time!

This lake cottage was perfect for our annual family vacation. The kids had a great time in the sand and water. House was fully stocked and use of kayaks and canoes were a plus. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property!

This property is one of the greatest I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Sunrises and sunsets on the Cheboygan and Mullet Lake, views of the Milky Way and a short walk to “The Hack” are just a few of the highlights. You’ll have nothing but smiles from arrival to your last night.

Fun for the whole family!

We rented with Colleen’s cottage for my husbands 50th birthday and everyone raved about the great location and amenities for the kids. Dock was a nice plus for storing our boat vs. a mooring buoy.

The property was great. We loved being on the lake and the river. My husband and brother loved being able to tie the boat right up to the dock and take off whenever they liked. The boat ride up the river was beautiful. We also did the bike trail and visited the dam/locks in town. Walked to the Hack Ma Tack for dinner. Great experiences. Would highly recommend.

3 family stay

We enjoyed this perfect place on Mullet Lake and Cheboygan river. The lake was so clean, shallow and sandy for playing in the water. Kids and adults enjoyed it. We enjoyed the kayaks and the SUPs too! The seating area at the river was great to fish from and watch the boats come and go. Lots of space for everyone in the house, very clean and two refrigerators were a plus!

Little piece of heaven

Lovely home with everything we needed! Beds were comfortable and we loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Rented a boat for morning river cruises and played on the beach in the afternoons. Was a little surprised by the crowd scene on the sandbar on Saturday and Sunday, but boaters were polite and friendly. The house is well appointed and we appreciated the games for the one rainy day we had. Thank you!

no firewood for fires and where the kayaks are stored the bees are back and my wife got stung the nest was behind the paddles also we rented it 2 years ago and the nest was under the kayaks in the ground

Amazing family vacation

Beautiful location and great house for a large family vacation. Absolutely the spot to be on Mullet if you want a beach and shallow, calm water for little kids. The adults loved going on river cruises/fishing. Large yard for everyone to play. House is clean. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to cook for a large group. Ton of towels/linens. We had a lot of young kids and it was a very nice touch that owners had a ton of coloring supplies which kids used daily. Close to town and ton of activities near by. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back!

Hidden gem!

This is an amazing property! The setting couldn’t be better. River on one side and lake in the front with a large grassy yard, big sandy beach, shallow water and a sand bar. The little kids loved the sand and water. The bigger kids loved fishing and watching the sand bar activity of other boaters. The sand bar visitors were respectful of our space and typically left the area by 6pm. The house layout was great. Felt spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Close to town and a 30 minute drive to Mackinac Island ferries. Perfect home!
