We had a great time. The ubication is good and close to shops and restaurants. The place is spacious and comfortable. The place have plenty pillows, towels, toiletries, etc.
My friend and I had a great weekend, it is a perfect home to spend time with friend and family. The house is clean and comfortable and the owner are very helpful.
Thank you very much!
The layout was comfortable for our family of 8 adults. I had a couple of questions and the host responded promptly. The house had all the amenities as advertised. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. We would recommend this location and host to anyone staying in the Hillsboro area.
The house was great, spacious and the host was very responsive the whole time we were there. There was also pack n play and high chair, as well as a few toys, which was very helpful with the kids. The house is just a hop to zoo and other places in town and a quick and beautiful drive to the beach. If there were any drawbacks to the house, it would just get noise from the street outback, which still wasn't bad. Overall, a solid stay! I would definitely recommend it!
This was the perfect place to stay with family and friends all needing one hub for visiting and gathering while in town for a wedding. Hosts were super accommodating and quick to respond with questions before during and after our stay. It had everything we needed and more with plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful house and yard and the beds very comfy. It was nice that stores and restaurants were close by. Pretty quiet even with busy street behind us. I would definitely recommend especially with a large group.
We had a group of 10. Plenary of rooms and comfortable beds. Beautiful home with great well stocked kitchen. So many towels and sheets. Only complaint was the noise of the busy street next to the house. Maybe bring white noise. We had a great stay. Easy check in and check out.
We rented this house for our family Christmas dinner. Several of us stayed in the beautifully apportioned bedrooms for a few nights, but the big event was having everyone over for a lovely Christmas dinner. we were able to easily seat 16 people in the dining room. Which is kind of amazing. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the living room was just right for the family to hang out.
Brookwood Manor is an excellent property.
One maintenance note: the deadbolt in the door to the back yard does not work properly.
One suggestion: the attic access doors in the upstairs bedroom should have handles or deadbolts that the owner locks with a key to prevent access to unsafe areas by guests. We moved the bed and couch to keep young children from opening the doors.
The property was as it appeared in the pictures. Plenty of space and clean. We had few issues, the first was when we arrived the outside trash cans were all full. When we went inside my 7 year old found prescription pills in the game cabinet. Later that evening my 6 year old nephew found a vape pen in the couch.
A large family this had everything we needed.
The key pad was not functional but the lockbox worked so we were able to have family be able to get in/ out okay.
Baths and Kitchens were well appointed- everything accounted for that we needed, even iron and laundry soaps etc.
Unfortunately, the master bedroom and one other of the bedrooms on back of house have very significant road noise. (House backs to a very busy road).
Suggest triple pane windows are needed in those rooms and white noise machines, as the sound was much louder than downstairs.
An easy recommendation would be to add sound and light blocking curtains at least in the master bedroom.
The house was great Good location Roomy for everyone to hang out play games or just watch tv. Our daughter wanted some of her favorite homemade food So we cooked most of the days we were there And the kitchen had everything you needed from breakfast pans to soup pots big enough to make soup for 12 people well stocked with plates cups forks spoons etc. It was a great experience a home away from home. Will definitely stay there again.
Lots of room. Clean. Convenient to stores and restaurants. All appliances worked. HUGE refrigerator/freezer
a couple of downsides: the house is close to a major road and has a lot of traffic noise. The outside porch light in the front is out -- make it extremely difficult to find the lock at night. The house is actually a bit down a long driveway. While the address is posted on the mailbox at the beginning of the drive, there is no address on the actual house. Very confusing when you are there for the first time in the dead of night.
It was a bit difficult to find, but once we got to home, the place was breath taking. I had everything we needed and the location was very close to my family. Place was spotless and was very well stocked. I had enough toiletries and all of my in town family raves at how beautiful the place was. We had more than enough space to sleep in and temp of home was absolutely comfortable.
This house worked great for us- we had 9 people and there was plenty of space and beds. It is on a busy, fairly loud street and the driveway is a little tough to get into but overall great option for our stay in Portland.
I have never stayed in a VRBO that was so well stocked! All the paper products, towels, washcloths, sheets, pillows, dish and hand soap. The house was very clean. One of the rooms was perfect for my son and his family with 2 small children. The large dining area was nice for eating our meals together.
My family helps me take care of this house. Here's a short description of each of us:
âą Ryan: Dad. A loud, endless motor that loves outdoors, hugs from his kids and high adventure activities. âą Sylvia: Mom. Beautiful, Brazilian, and quiet (opposites attract I guess). Loves books and re-runs of Monk. âą Alexandre: Goes by Xande (Shun-dee). Gifted athlete, a good Boy Scout, and mom thinks heâs handsome. âą Sariah: Beautiful, elegant, and a wonderful leader. âą Isabella: Goes by Bella. Humorous, motherly, and always smiling. âą Sophia: She knows what she wants and sheâll tell you whatâs on her mind. Look out! âą Isaiah: A welcome surprise to the family. What a firecracker! Heâs so darn cute we all fight for his affection. âą Theo: The dog. Hyper and friendly, what more can you want. âą Snowflake and Tigger: These bunnies will melt your heart. The breeder told us they were both boys but after a âmiracleâ litter we figured it out...
