Lake Michigan Beachfront Cottage avec immense terrasse et faible Bluff - nouvellement mis à jour!

Ce magnifique chalet en bord de mer du lac Michigan dispose de 4 chambres, 2 salles de bains, 2 cuisines entièrement équipées et 2 espaces salon / salle à manger! Il a été récemment mis à jour avec des portes coulissantes en verre de 16 pieds et des fenêtres de traverse, créant un mur de fenêtres pour profiter des sites et des sons du lac Michigan! De nouveaux revêtements de sol, des mises à jour de la cuisine, y compris un lave-vaisselle et un tout nouveau système de climatisation, ont également été ajoutés.

Il y a 2 niveaux dans cette maison qui ont leurs propres entrées séparées, offrant une capacité unique d'avoir plus d'intimité si vous voyagez avec d'autres familles. Chaque niveau comprend 2 chambres avec des lits queen-size confortables, une salle de bain complète avec douche, une cuisine et un salon et une salle à manger confortables.

La table supérieure de la salle à manger peut accueillir confortablement 8 personnes, et il y a 3 tabourets de bar au comptoir. Les espaces de vie à aire ouverte permettent à tout le monde d'être ensemble, même lors de la préparation des repas dans la grande cuisine.

Toutes les serviettes, draps et oreillers sont fournis. Il y a une buanderie au niveau inférieur.

Lorsque vous sortez sur la terrasse spacieuse, vous entendrez les vagues et admirerez la magnifique vue panoramique sur le lac Michigan. Détendez-vous dans le confortable mobilier de pont ou promenez-vous le long de la promenade vers le lac. Balancer dans la grande balançoire en bois, ou profiter d'une tasse de café dans les chaises / table Adirondack 2 places avec vue sur l'eau.

Notre faible bluff rend l'accès à l'eau sans effort. En plus de nos 60 pieds de façade sur le lac, il y a une plage supplémentaire juste à côté. La plage publique du comté d'Oceana est directement au nord de nous, où l'eau chaude du lac Silver sort dans le lac Michigan via Silver Creek. Cela crée un endroit idéal pour que les enfants jouent dans l'eau chaude! Little Sable Lighthouse est à seulement 5 minutes à pied vers le sud, ou vous pouvez marcher vers le nord et avoir 4 miles de la belle plage de Silver Lake State Park pour vous tous.

Si vous cherchez quelque chose à faire dans l'eau, nous avons un kayak de 12 pieds, un SUP, un canoë et un pédalo disponibles à la location.

Il y a plusieurs chaises longues pour se détendre au soleil et des chaises de plage pour s'asseoir au bord de l'eau. Il y a beaucoup de jeux et d'énigmes à l'intérieur lorsque vous êtes prêt à faire une pause sur la plage.

Quand il est temps de manger, il y a un grand gril à gaz à 6 brûleurs avec 2 brûleurs latéraux pour accueillir de grands groupes. Profitez de votre repas autour de la grande table à hauteur de comptoir avec (6) chaises pivotantes rembourrées et des vues à tomber par terre.

Profitez d'un feu dans le foyer ou asseyez-vous autour de la table de feu confortable sur le pont. Quoi qu'il en soit, assurez-vous de vérifier les étoiles la nuit! Oh, et avons-nous mentionné les couchers de soleil? Ils sont incroyables et vous aurez une place au premier rang pour chacun!

Exceeded expectations

The outdoor space was larger than anticipated and the beach even easier to access than expected - very few steps, gorgeous views, and a unique spot right by the river emptying into Lake MI. The house was very clean and had great beach / backyard games and accessories. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a Lake Mi beach getaway!

Family summer getaway

We loved everything about our trip to the cottage!! The view of Lake Michigan was absolutely perfect and our kids spent the whole time playing in the sand and water. The property was so close to the silver lake dunes and steps away from the creek. The cottage was cozy and clean with everything we needed to have a perfect summer getaway. We spent our evenings sitting on the swing watching the sunset. It was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

The beach house was amazing!! The decor and the design of the house was perfect. The view from the deck was beautiful and I loved sleeping with the screen door open as you could hear the waves crashing!! This was a perfect house for our first trip to Michigan. The weather was absolutely perfect. This cottage is hands down the best Vrbo we have stay in. So clean. Great communication with the owners. The location is perfection. Huge deck (with baby gates) that leads down right into the sandy dunes where our toddlers loved to play. And we never had to worry about them running into the water bc of the gates! Truly this cottage is beautiful and we can’t wait to rent it again.

Couldn't have asked for a better vacation for grandparents through grandkids. Amazing location for the kids to take advantage of both Lake Michigan and Silver Lake Creek that runs in front of house. Significantly more beach than we experienced at an adjacent location 2 years ago. Multiple kitchens allowed for adequate food storage and preparation. Looking forward to returning next year.

Cozy Beach House

We had a lovely week at the Sandpiper Beach House on Lake Michigan! The private beach is amazing, and the kids really enjoyed the two kayaks and SUP provided. We watched beautiful sunsets every night from the swing overlooking the beach/lake. The beds are all very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook/bake. The owners were very helpful and were there by text or phone to answer any questions that we had. We loved our stay here and hope to return again next summer! Thank you Scott and Gwen for a wonderful week!

Great Stay

Our stay at this property was Great!! Everything as advertised. Great communication. House was exceptionally clean, well stocked, great location., beach and sunsets were great. Beds were very comfortable. No complaints from other guest staying with us. Deck area and acess to beach was good and allowed for alot of people (12) in our party to gather and talk. The separate unit below was good because it allowed some separation with the part of our group who had a family of 6 (six). Unit had a kitchen area as well. Scott was great with communication as well. Plenty of beach chairs, toys etc. The area does not have alo of eating establishments and you have to travel about 20 mins to nearest reasonably pruced grocery store. Definitely would rent again and hope to return if all dates with our family can work out. GREAT STAY!!

A wonderful week on Lake Michigan

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week together at this house. The location, being right on Lake Michigan, was amazing. Many memories were created and will be cherished. Everything was as advertised in the listing and met our needs. The house was clean and the amenities were clearly outlined in communications from Scott and Gwen. While we enjoyed time in the house, the outside deck, chairs and swing facing the lake, fire pit, and beach area were huge highlights. Communication with Scott and Gwen was great from the booking throughout the entire process. They are great hosts and a pleasure to deal with. Home & Hosts Set The VRBO Standard

Take notes other hosts, this property is how it’s done! We didn’t have a need/want for anything. The hosts literally thought of it all from labeled light switches, a binder full of clear information about the property, kitchen was stocked with quality (NO dollar store silverware TY!) & a quantity of different items, extra bedding, a little first aid kit, binoculars, a shed full of outdoor fun and so much more compared to other places we’ve stayed. Favorite spots were watching sunsets on the deck or in the wooden swing and laying in the sun in the lawn chairs out of the wind. Kayaks and paddle boards were fun on the calm lake days. Upstairs level is decorated so beach house cozy. The house looked clean, smelled clean and was very clean. Just bring your food, paper products, laundry stuff and beach towels. If you forgot something there is a small grocery/party store 5 minutes down the road that has literally everything. Special, special property! Thank you for being amazing hosts and giving my son a very sweet birthday surprise!

The best weekend!

We have a large family and are always looking for places to say. This cottage was great! The outdoor area was fantastic for all ages-plenty of sand to play in before even getting to the beach! The fire pit was wonderful, grill was great. The stairs between the floors are outside-but that didn’t cause any hiccup for us! Great stay. Beach was beautiful, very close with hardly any steps! A little slice of Heaven.

Greetings! We love West Michigan with the many opportunities to enjoy being outdoors and and enjoying family activities! Our family has made countless memories enjoying the beaches, bike trails, canoeing and camping all along the shoreline.

In 2019, since both our boys were in college and we had already sold our family pop-up camper, we considered purchasing a rental property and fell in love with this little cottage. Although it was out of our price range, by renting it to families, we're able to afford the mortgage, taxes, utilities, maintenance and many expenses of a lakefront home. We are hands-on, doing much of the maintenance, care and remodeling personally.

We live in Holland, MI. Gwen is an RN, and Scott owns a business that provides non-medical, in-home care to seniors who aren't ready to move to a nursing home. We are blessed with two adult sons, two daughter-in-laws and a two golden retrievers.

The views from this property are amazing! The public access beach located to the north, give unobstructed views of the lake and the neighbor to the south sits far away from our house, with bushes and trees between us.

The house is comfortable and cozy, all at the same time, making your experience at the beach one to remember. The separate levels allow for privacy, yet the large deck and beach frontage allow for families to gather and enjoy each other.

The linens and towels are included, and the kitchen should have everything you need. Laundry is available on the lower level if you need it, but chances are you won't - after all, you're on vacation, right?

Since this property is relatively new to us, we've been working hard at updating and remodeling between seasons. We've added A/C, a new furnace, water heater, totally remodeled the upper kitchen with granite counter tops, new range, new hard surface flooring, paint, doors, trim and a new 16 foot wall patio door with transom windows.

This is a unique property and we don't take it for granted!

The separate living spaces works nicely to provide an extra element of privacy between friends, families or grandchildren. This layout works especially well for parents vacationing with adult children and grandchildren. It's nice to be together, but it's also nice to have options for privacy.

The large deck functions like an extension of the house, with comfortable seating to relax, eat a meal or keep an eye on the grill. Just a few steps toward the waterfront, you can relax on the large Adirondack swing, or enjoy your morning coffee or brunch on the Adirondack chairs at the top of the bluff overlooking the water and beach.

If you are drawn to the water, you can swim, play or go for a walk down the beach. You're also welcome to use out kayak, SUP or canoe. The low bluff and private beach as well as the public access beach to the north provide lots of space for playing in the sun and waves.

Fortunately, it's your week and you have many opportunities to fill it as you wish - plan ahead and engage, sit-back and relax or strike a balance in-between. Welcome to the Sandpiper!
