1. Very clean.2. Excellent hot water, and set of appliances3. Spa tub did not operate, but maintenance responded as soon as we realized it, late in our stay.4. Comfortable furniture and beds.5. Can XC or snow shoe on better than 2 miles of trails. Not groomed but really used by many folks. Of course, free.6. Had difficulty with ski locker which host and maintanence got fixed within the day. Great response, especially considering maintenance was very busy with a lot of snow removal needed after consecutive storms.7. Pool , hot tub and sauna all great.8. Plenty of towels available to use for pool.9. 2nd story so needed to carry gear up a sets of stairs, No elevator, not really dificult. Just kind of long.10. Would definitely return. Close to Loon, restarants, and groceries. El Charro may be the best Mexican Restarant in New England. I try them all. I'm from Texas.11. The 2nd bed room lock out is very nice and has a good Murphy bed. Verty comfortable. Small useful kitchenette with fridge.12. Heat more than adequate. Ligthing could be better, bu tadequate. Nice gas fireplace. No mess. Heats living room nicely. Most important. Host was very responsive to the couple of problems. Resolved immediately. Again, probably will do this again.Location is right in the middle of everything, yet it seems isolated and views of the moutains are great.
A nice property, basic, but completely adequate. Our family had plenty of space. The grounds are nice and well-maintained. My only quibbles are that it felt like the dishes had been cleaned somewhat hastily (e.g. glasses that were stuck to the cabinet which made me feel the need to re-wash them), a scarcity of dishes for cooking (e.g. a casserole dish), and the fact that the pool was completely booked for the duration of our stay before we even arrived (due to COVID the pool was on a per-appointment basis only). Other than these relatively minor issues it was a very pleasant stay, and we'd consider booking this property again when visiting the Franconia Notch/Lincoln/Woodstock area.
We loved the place, just wish when we called to check on the status of things they would have told us there wouldnât be any chairs available and that the rec center was completely closed. they did tell us the pool was closed and the lake was open for swimming.
We have stayed at Deer Park in years past and love the resort and the location. This was our first-and perhaps only- outing since the pandemic shutdown in March. We enjoyed every moment of it.
