This historic getaway property was beautifully decorated, bright, clean, and comfortable. The decor was adorable and it is clear that the owner had put a lot of energy and thought into even the smallest of details. Our group included myself, my husband, teenage daughter, middle age sister in law and elderly mother in law. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoyed relaxing on the deck with our morning coffees brewed either in the Cuisinart drip coffee maker or the espresso maker. The double Master bed was very comfortable but the height could make it a challenge for anyone who is short or mobility challenged. The bathroom was also huge she beautiful, with both a large shower and a claw foot bathtub. I would 100% stay here again and have shared the listing with family.
Fun decor! Everything necessary to make it a comfortable stay! Perfect walk to town to walk off all the delicious food in Booth Bay! Would certainly stay again!
If you enjoy walking this place is has a great location to walk into town. Its clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood but close to the action. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Pat.
Enjoyed Patâs home in BBH. We weâre in town for a family reunion. Location is great for walking to town or short drives to all attractions. House is quaint & charming!
The house was very clean, charming and comfortable! The owner, Pat was easy to reach and left us a beautiful picture frame. Would definitely come back. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the harbor, shops and restaurants so we didnât have to worry about finding a parking spot.
The house was nice, dated, but nice. Posting said or made it seem like there wasLaundry facilities on site but there definitely wasnât. It was fine for our short stay but for those who may stay longer it may be a problem. Had all we needed. I had to throughly clean the coffee maker before use. I would recommend investing in a newer one. Very quiet nice area. You can walk down to the harbor if you can and donât mind a longer walk. If it was my property I would step up the landscaping as it was looking pretty shabby. Has no AC but we managed as it was cool but the bedrooms are upstairs and could potentially be very uncomfortable on a hot summer night. All and all it was fine for us and we had a nice time. I personally would likely not pick this particular place again but it was totally fine!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is a short walk to town and the footbridge. It was clean and comfortable, very pink lol. The owner answered all of my questions immediately and was very informative. Thank you Pat.
This was our first trip to the Boothbay Harbor region. It was perfect for short excursions north to Camden and Rockland and south to Freeport and Popham, as well as exploring the Boothbay area. The spacious home was in a quiet residential area within walking distance to shops and restaurants around the harbor, with a refreshing harbor breeze to make time on the deck very enjoyable. Pat was very helpful with recommendations and always responded quickly to our questions. The first floor powder room was not working during our stay, but we managed fine with the upstairs bathroom. A washer/dryer would be nice but we made do. Having the grill was great. We appreciate the efforts Pat and everyone in Maine are going through to keep Mainers and guests safe from COVID. We followed the guidelines and felt very comfortable everywhere we went. It was a much-needed and very enjoyable vacation!
Our family of four spent 4 days during our summer vacation, and enjoyed this respite in Boothbay. We walked into town everyday and also took day trips to Pemaquid and Monhegan. Pat was kind enough to make up the sofa in the sunroom as a bed for our son so that our kids each had their own space. We spent mornings on the back deck drinking coffee and evenings playing cards. It was the way life should be!
My mom, daughter and I rented the house for a short stay in Boothbay Harbor. Location was great. The house was cozy and clean, decoration was very girly and fun, perfect for our girls weekend away. Check in and check out was easy. Pat was very responsive. Overall great experience!
Charming 2 bedroom home close to the harbor and activities. Comfortable and roomy for a family. No dishwasher or washer/dryer, otherwise a perfect place to explore Boothbay and all it offers. Pat was friendly and responsive. Will definitely come back again!
Our family had a great experience staying at Patâs house and exploring Boothbay area. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, and within 3 min car ride to the town center.
Pat did an amazing job with this charming home in Boothbay Harbor. The home had everything we needed and was an easy walk into town. The botanical gardens are an easy drive from the home as are the oyster farms of Damariscotta. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a vacation in the area.
Pat is amazing! The house was clean, roomy, comfortable, and perfect! Everything we needed and then some was at finger tips. The location was perfect and literally 1000 steps from town. It was a quiet street and super quaint. The decks were great in back and in front. The beds are very comfortable including the pull out sofa. The only suggestion I have is a small step stool for the queen bed. It's so tall you feel like royalty!! It was a great time and I highly recommend this house. I will rent it again â€
I purchased this house as a âfixer-upperâ. I love the area and I have so enjoyed renovating this home and sharing it with vacationers who are also drawn to beautiful Maine. I am a crafter - spend my spare time gardening, sewing, jewelry making, seashell crafts (Boothbay Harbor Library craft shows during summer months).
