Lake View Cottage sur la magnifique baie de sable

Ceci est un joli chalet confortable avec une vue sur le lac Michigan! C’est à 2 minutes à pied de la magnifique plage publique isolée de Sand Bay! Ce chalet a trois chambres et une salle de bain. Deux chambres ont des lits queen size et l'autre chambre a un lit superposé avec une mezzanine qui a également un lit double, parfait pour les enfants. La cuisine ouverte offre une vue magnifique sur le lac et est entièrement équipée de tous les ustensiles de cuisine nécessaires pour préparer tous vos repas pendant vos vacances. Il y a aussi un bureau avec Internet pour ceux qui peuvent avoir besoin de travailler en dehors de la ville pendant leurs vacances. Le chalet comprend également deux kayaks sur lesquels vous pouvez explorer le lac. We had a great stay! We are regulars for Beaver Island and were displaced from our cottage due to storm damage and this property was a great reflection of the island and everything it has to offer. I do want to mention that while it is pet friendly, pets aren’t allowed on the furniture(understandable as the couches and chairs in the living room are leather). Photos of our dog enjoying his stay for fun :)

Our third trip to the island and third stay at the cabin, perfection! Our kids, the in-laws and pup LOVE this cabin, it’s become a second home for us. We have become so smitten with Beaver Island we are planning more frequent trips. The house has everything you need and more, and if you can find it, the local grocery store is well stocked! Thank you for the memories.

Great view short walk to beach

We enjoyed our stay very much, awesome lake view from house, beach is a short walk away, and it was sandy, very shallow water with sand bars , excellent for small kids.

Beaver Island Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It had a beautiful view of the lake and was a great place to look at the stars. It was thoughtfully furnished with a well stocked kitchen.

Great beach access on Beaver Island

We had a lovely time soaking in Beaver Island from this comfortable retreat. The beach access is very easy and was nearly private even though we were there in August. Definite recommend!

Fantastic Get Away Outside of Town

The house has everything you need to have a wonderful stay on the island. The kitchen is fantastic to cook in and the space is laid out really well. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to rent from. This rental is a winner!

Nice Cottage on Island in Lake Michigan

I chose this cottage because of the view to the lake, rooms for family, and also the owner allowed my mature, well-trained pet cat to stay. I like the tongue and groove knotty pine walls, and charm of an old cottage. There’s abundant windows, and skylights for views of the woods and Lake. It has a crows nest on the third floor loft with a natural twisted wood railing. Set on a quiet lane with a few other cottages; it’s a natural retreat with every modern amenity, full kitchen stocked, plus spices and olive oil; inflated tubes and towels for the beach and water, which we enjoyed daily, and star gazing at night. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to see the peaches in bloom.

Perfect Quiet Spot

We had everything we needed and then some. The view of the lake was amazing. We would walk down the short way to enjoy our morning coffee with the waves and gulls. The kitchen was amazing to cook in. Beds were super comfy. We loved it and will be back.

Beautiful Haven

We are a little bias, as our parents owned the home for 30 yrs. Best beach on the island. Everything you need is at the cabin. Loved all the games for the kids. Beautiful paradise.

Great house

Just got back from a week here. House was wonderful. Had everything you needed and the location was perfect. Far enough from town but not too far. Beach entry just up from the house. Saw a ton of birds.very cute inside

Our Favorite Place on Earth

This property is absolutely perfect for our family. This was our second stay at the cottage and it was perfect once again. This VRBO is well stocked and has everything a person needs to for a week stay. We will be coming back again next year. Thanks Christine!

Yellow Cottage Stay

This cottage was perfect as an extra house for our family reunion on Beaver Island. The kitchen/dining/living room area was spacious and had a lovely view of Lake Michigan. The children's bedrooms were especially nice with their own separate staircase to a bedroom and a loft on two levels in the back of the house. The amenities were very good and the checkout process was easy. There is easy access to one of the few public beaches on Beaver Island. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place on Sand Bay!

Loved every minute

By far the best place I have rented in Beaver Island. The beach was sandy and not rocky: There are kayaks, outside chars and firewood to use! There was plenty of space in the cottage and everything you need already there. We even used the grill! We already have it rented for next year and loved our stay!

Peaceful Cottage

This was our second stay at the cottage, and we'd be happy to come back again! Easy access to a gorgeous sand beach that's shallow enough to wade out well into the lake. The cottage itself has a great set-up with good wifi, an excellent kitchen, and a neat loft/bunk area for kids to hang out. Christine was super friendly and communicative with the booking, also made for easy check-in and out. We love this east-side location being somewhat secluded, yet only a 10-minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

Beautiful beach and Lake Michigan water!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was very comfortable for the four of us. What made the stay was the beach and water. This property is just a 2 minute walk to an incredible beach that is deep with soft, white, sand. There were hardly any other people there during our stay so it felt like our own beach. The water is crystal clear and shallow. We had so much fun and love having our dog with us. Thank you!

Fantastic location and ideal lake access

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Lake Michigan is a short walk away and the beach along this stretch is just fantastic. The kitchen is well-supplied and the generous island makes for a perfect gathering area. The outdoor space includes a nice deck, picnic table, and grill. One family member really appreciated the office space and good Internet. Overall, the property feels like a lake cabin that you are borrowing from a family friend. The bathroom is on the small side with a very small shower. We were comfortable during our stay and appreciated the owners' good communication.

Two week get away

We had an awesome time. Loved the location and access to the beach!! The house was well equipped for our needs. There is no cell service but if you’re you’re an Apple user the WiFi connects well and no issues. However android friends had no service at all. The only complaint I would have is that I wish there were the directions for the dehumidifier. It got a bit musty on the house. Once we figured it out, all was well.
