The house is in a peaceful situation on the southern edge of NethyBridge , with lovely views over the surrounding hills and woods. There are views of the Cairngorm mountains and to the rear of the house is the river Nethy and beyond the beautiful Abernethy forest. There are great cycle tracks and walks minutes from the house.
Nethybridge is a charming village in a beautiful setting within the Cairngorm National Park , 12 miles north of Aviemore. It has a grocers shop, and a well stocked butchers/delicatessen . There are 2 hotels and a cafe in the village .
BBCs Winterwatch and Springwatch were recently shot at the Dell of Abernethy , 10 minutes walk from the house. . They also host occasional events and have a drinks and pizza evening once a week in their Teepee most of the year . check out thedellofabernethy.co.uk
