I picked this location for a long term stay since we are relocating and my husband needed a place to stay during that time.
The only positive of this listing is its location. The property looked as if no one had stayed there for many, many months. Mildew in toilets, coffee cups in bathrooms, very, very sparse kitchen items, kitchen sink was dirty, the list goes on. We were not told that the water would be shut off on Mondays for repairs in the area before we made the reservation. We only found that tidbit out AFTER we checked-in and read the “welcome” letter. Had we known before, we wouldn’t have stayed there.
The property was so rundown that we didn’t even stay a night. We walked in, surveyed the property and walked out. I informed the host, Alan, within 24 hours that we were not happy with the property and would like to cancel our reservation. He REFUSED to release our reservation, even after I told him that I didn’t want any money back. Since he didn’t release the reservation I couldn’t rebook another place for my husband to stay until today. The reservation started Dec 1. We are out 4k for this disaster, plus the expense of an additional hotel room. I called VRBO and tried to work through them. They tried to reach out to the host. He did not respond to VRBO either.
I can’t emphasize enough, stay far, far away from this property. This is the WORST experience I’ve had with a VRBO host and property.
