Magnifiquement entretenu Up-North Cottage au lac Michigan! Située juste au sud de Manistee, cette superbe propriété est située au sommet d’une falaise avec une vue fantastique sur le coucher du soleil et une façade privée baignable. Vous pourrez vous asseoir et profiter de la vue magnifique depuis le pont arrière ou devant le rôtisseur s'mores. Idéal pour les familles qui cherchent à débrancher et à se détendre.

Le lac Michigan est juste en bas de 96 escaliers bien entretenus. En raison des niveaux d'eau record, il est possible qu'il n'y ait pas de plage de sable fin pour la saison estivale 2019. Cependant, le bord du lac est toujours baignable par une journée calme.

Cottage propose de nombreux extras comme Internet par satellite, la télévision locale, un lecteur DVD, un barbecue à gaz, des kayaks et bien plus encore.

We chose the Eagle Bluff Cottage for our annual "Girls Weekend". The property is beautiful and peaceful. Nothing better than waking up to the waves right outside your window each morning. Ludington and Manistee are both close by if you want to venture out, but truthfully, I would have been content to not leave the property all weekend.

Incredibly Relazing Getaway

Our expectations for the property were met and exceeded - the house was comfortable and funcitional for 4 adults and 4 kids, wonderful deck and firepit we utilized daily. The beach was truly the icing on the cake, perfect for both adults to sit and chat and upper-elementary kids to splash and play. Very quiet and peaceful, we didn't leave a single time during our 4 night stay!

Relaxing get away

We absolutely loved this property. If you desire a relaxing, isolated, and peaceful get away this is the place. Manistee is 15 to 20 minute drive, so make sure you take what you need. We witnessed the most amazing sunsets. We will definitely return.

Great home base for manistee region. Amazing view. Great for families. Free kayaks included. Well stocked kitchen. A bit far from a town so pack everything you need.

Relaxing Getaway

The property was clean and had many wonderful updates. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, cookware and many additional utensils for grilling, etc. The bedrooms were cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed the balcony in the main suite and utilized the deck every evening to watch the spectacular sunsets.

What a view!

Beautiful view, nice deck, plenty of outdoor seating, lovely beach. Cute clean cottage. Kitchen fully stocked. Although it can accommodate 8 people, that would be tight. Having said that, the view is what it’s all about. We had a great time.

Amazing Views

We had such an amazing time! The view is simply amazing! Super clean and really cute. 5 adults and 3 kids and we all felt super comfortable. It was around 95 degrees one day, and with no AC it wasn't the greatest - so I would avoid dead of summer heat. But it did not ruin the entire time. I was very pleased with our booking and would definitely again! Great location to drive in town to the Manistee beaches also!

Great trip.

The location was perfect and the views were beautiful. Very clean and the perfect place for an unplugged beach vacation. My husband and I stayed with our 23 month old and 4.5 year old. The house was a little tricky with young children but manageable. Stairs to beach have gate with lock which was appreciated. Also the house is in a remote area and we had no cell service and internet was very spotty. It wasn’t a huge problem but something to know. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This property is way better than the pictures make it out to be. The windows are all very big, and give great views of Lake Michigan from the edge of a high bluff. Take the stairs down to your own strip of the beach. It felt incredibly secluded, and there was seldom anybody else on the beach as far as we could see. Very sandy and clean. The kayaks were awesome. The fire pit was very great, and outdoor table and furniture was perfect! 10/10 Note: if you have a hard time getting up and down steps and want to spend time on the beach or in the lake look elsewhere

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful home with comfortable and stylish décor. The views of Lake Michigan are glorious! We enjoyed the deck to read, talk and eat meals. The fire pit was great with lots of seating options. The only hiccup for us was: the refrigerator is quite small (although adorable) for our family of six who did most of our eating at the house. The remedy is simple: the owners have a full sized fridge in the basement where we stored our overflow of food. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates, cups, utensils and cookware. The beds are comfortable; we loved the master bedroom with a private deck overlooking the lake. The beach is gorgeous - great sandy area with lots of room to walk in both directions. Fantastic sunsets. This is a great place to stay!

amazing lakefront house

everything was great except there was an infestation of some kind of gnats - seemed like fruit flies or something like that. There were thousands of gnats outside and in the kitchen and bathrooms - even the one upstairs. I think it’s a regional / seasonal thing that is out of the owners’ control but it would be nice if they have provided some kind of trap that might have been more effective than the vinegar ones we made. We got swarmed!

Beautiful Lake Michigan cottage

Beautiful views of Lake Michigan on the lakefront. The house is small, but had everything we needed. One and a half bathrooms, a tiny but fully appointed kitchen, a living room and four small bedrooms. There was even a charger for our iPhones. It was extremely clean with fresh paint and pretty blue furnishings that match the environment throughout. Lovely back porch that was perfect for entertaining during Covid. We enjoyed eating at the outdoor table and building fires in the outdoor fire pit at night. It did not have central heat or air, which surprised us at first as Southerners. But we did not need it at all. There were plenty of fans if the weather had gotten hot, which it did not. There was a gas fireplace in the baseboard heater on the main floor if we had gotten cold. Even though the place sleeps eight, I would not recommend it for that many people. Everything is small, although the bathrooms are not. But it would be a bit tight with that many people.

Property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our getaway. My only note is Google tried to take us the wrong direction on the road. Go left not right when turning on the final road!

Amazing Stay

We loved the property. We had initially booked it for 6 adults and 2 kids, one of the couples backed out so it was 4 total people instead of 8. The property may have been small for 8. We had a fantastic time. The views were extraordinary. The beach was amazing, and the Adirondack chairs and kayaks made beach-going easy. The property was close to Manistee. We also did a few day trips to Traverse City which was about 90 minutes away. This was a great place to stay and we would love to come back. Highly recommended to anyone, whether just a single family or a group of friends or a few families.

Perfect Secluded Getaway

After months of social distancing and working for home, we decided to find a place to stay once states announced phased re-openings and safe travel was permitted. We were lucky to find Eagle Bluff Cottage and hoped that it wasn't too good to be true. Luckily we were not disappointed - it was the perfect spot! The cottage and grounds were clean and you can tell the property owners take pride in their place from decor, amenities, and cleanliness. Beautiful views, sunsets, and beach access just down the hill. No AC fans meant peaceful nights listening to nature and the waves from down on the beach. Neighbors are fairly close, but it wasn't an issue and we were still able to enjoy a responsible and distanced vacation. Traveled with two small kids, but the cottage would make for a great week away for a couple or families with older kids as well. We hope to be back!
