Cette toute nouvelle maison moderne a été entièrement rénovée de haut en bas et transformée en location de vacances idéale. A partir du moment où vous entrez, vous allez adorer les caractéristiques personnalisées dans cette propriété très rare dans le magnifique nord du Michigan.

Le niveau principal dispose d'un salon, salle à manger et cuisine entièrement ouverte avec vue imprenable sur le lac Michigan. Cette maison a été conçue spécifiquement pour maximiser la lumière naturelle et permettre des vues spectaculaires, y compris les couchers de soleil sur les eaux bleues du lac Michigan. La chambre principale privée et deux terrasses extérieures complètent cet espace incroyable.

Le niveau inférieur de la maison dispose de deux chambres, une salle familiale avec grande TV HD, une buanderie et une belle salle de bain complète avec douche à l'italienne et de superbes travaux de carrelage.

Down 50 étapes bien entretenues est la plage de sucre-sable du lac Michigan. Ce tronçon privé et tranquille de la côte est l'un des meilleurs du Michigan. La profondeur facile du lac Michigan le rend idéal pour les enfants et la grande terrasse en bord de mer est parfaite pour les adultes.

Great place for us to stay as a family. The beach access was better than I anticipated from the pictures. The kitchen was very nice. Excellent quality cookware and knives, not what you would expect in a rental.

Western Michigan Retreat

The property was just as described with excellent room for 2-3 couples to have a relaxing weekend. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked and views from lakeshore dock are first class at sunset! The location is a great, with 20-40 minute drive times to many beaches, small towns, shopping and the Sleeping Dunes park for hiking. We will be back!

We had never been to this part of Michigan and it is beautiful. There are tons of things to do and this house was just as beautiful. We had a little issue when we got there and the owners were very responsive which made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend for a family.

Amazing Stay in Manistee

We had such a great time at this property. Could not have been a better house for our group of friends on a golf trip (Arcadia Bluffs). Super calm and quiet...Amazing waterfront views and sunsets...Grilled out, campfires...What's not to love? Will definitely come back!

Exactly as Advertised!

Absolutely beautiful home, extremely comfortable and amazingly well appointed, especially when it comes to the beautiful and spacious kitchen. Grounds are spacious as well and the view from the deck of Lake Michigan is so all encompassing you will never want to leave. As we discovered you can have your groceries delivered to the door from the nearby Meijer's, you truly never need to leave! We rarely return to rentals as there is so much out there still to explore, but this wonderful property is on our permanent short list.

All the previous reviews were spot on. If they don't have it in the kitchen or in general then you probably don't need it. Very relaxing house and area. The only hit we would give it is the windows all had large amounts of cobwebs in them and for the cleaning fee you pay the property manager or guests shouldn't have to look at those all week.

Everything about staying in this house was perfect. The house was immaculate, well appointed, and fully stocked with anything we would need. The house was gorgeous in design as was the grounds around it. We loved the fire pit and enjoying sunsets over the lake. The only peculiarity was the beach access, as there really was no beach due to the high lake level. There was a pier with a ladder that you could climb down and swim in the lake. But due to beach erosion you couldn’t walk up and down the beach like I usually like to do in Michigan. But I wouldn’t let this stop anyone from renting this beautiful property, I just thought it was worth clarifying since the beach situation is not entirely clear from the photos.

mattress and furniture need updating

First the good - the kitchen is terrific. There is everything you can imagine you would need. Even the knives are sharp. A cook's dream. The setting is gorgeous with lots of outdoor gathering space. It close to lots of outdoor activities. Now for the not so good - the furniture is all IKEA and really uncomfortable. The mattress is about 4 in thick. It was like sleeping on a trampoline. My overall impression is that if the cost was about half as much it would have been a great value. At the price that we paid, I expected a great deal more.

Majestic Views

Incredible views of Lake Michigan throughout the property itself and the grounds. Access to the deck/platform raised just above the water’s edge may be a bit steep for guests that may struggle with mobility but for our purposes it was great. A previous commenter made mention of the furnishings. Our view is that they are on style for the modern lines of the house but they are chosen more for their utility as this is a rental designed for a continual flow of guests. It was a nonissue in our book but if you are looking for a true boutique experience this may not be a fit. However, you would be missing out on a lot pluses-including the proximity to both downtown Manistee and Onekama. And if you are lucky with the weather like us (sometimes a rarity in Michigan) you’ll be treated to magnificent sunset views and access to the lake which, while rocky at first, boasts a sandbar that stretches a great distance. Perfect for swimming or a cooling walk in knee high water when the lake is calm. The property is closer to your neighbors then visible on the listing but maintains a sense of seclusion nonetheless. Most guests will not even make this observation, and again, it was a nonissue for us. Plenty of privacy to go around. All positive comments about the kitchen are true but you’ll easily find yourself tempted not to make full use of it due to the number of dining options within a 10 to 30 min drive from the property. We would definitely recommend a stay. It’s worth the price.
