Bungalow de plage moderne dans un quartier résidentiel calme à quelques pas des canaux et à 5 minutes à pied de la plage et du boulevard Abott Kinney. 3 grandes chambres et deux salles de bain complÚtes, dont une avec bain à remous. Cuisine blanche moderne avec beaucoup d'espace de cuisson et table à manger pour cinq personnes. Salon spacieux avec des meubles post-modernes antiques. Oasis tranquille d'une arriÚre-cour agit comme un autre salon, avec salle à manger pour six, grand canapé neuf et plus de siÚges, barbecue et superbe foyer au gaz. Faites-en votre maison d'été.

We came in for a weekend wedding with my family, including our 1-year old daughter. John was such an amazing host, communicated everything we needed, and even had a pack n’ play set up for us before we got there! This was such a great neighborhood to stay in and we loved this home!

Wonderful spot!

This house was perfect for us, and John was a wonderful host. The location can't be beat - we could walk to the beach, to the canals, and to many restaurants. Great find!

Great location, comfy house

It was very nice and quiet. We stayed next to the canals, which were really fun to walk through at night with all the twinkly lights. Very easy to walk to restaurants and quick markets and the beach is close.

Good central location in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay overall at this property. The home is centrally located for exploring Los Angeles. Pro’s - John the host was great, very responsive. The home was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Con’s- the master bedroom bed is hard to sleep on because of a large dip in the mattress. The hot water was an adventure the first day so plan to be patient with this old homes pipes and plumbing.

Good quieter residential spot

Within walking distance to Venice, Abbot Kinney, and a number of good restaurants. The house was deceptively large and outside space was great. Enjoyed watching playoffs outside on the TV with the firepit. Laundry machines were handy as well. On street parking but we were able to park within a house or two the entire trip. Communication with host was exceptional. Thanks for a stress free experience.

Just What We Needed

We were in town for our son's wedding and John's place was a very comfortable home base for us. John was very communicative and attentive. The owner appears to live here at times when it is not rented, so you will be sharing some of the storage space (closets and drawers) with his things. Overall, it was still a great place to stay for our trip. We found things to be just as the listing said they would be. We would definitely stay again if future travel brings us back to Venice.

Fabulous bungalow in a fabulous location

My husband and I stayed here for several days while visiting our son at UCLA. This home is so comfortable, and nicer than the photos depict. It has two nice sized bedrooms plus a twin bed in the office; perfect for two couples or a family of 4-5. It's on a nice quiet street just a few blocks from the canals and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach or Abbot Kinney. Ideal location. Street parking at the house was easy. The bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable, and the house is nicely furnished. We weren't sure exactly what we would find in the backyard with the Astro turf walls, but we loved it and used it quite a bit. It is a perfect place to hang out with family or friends to enjoy the beautiful weather. The fire pit and BBQ worked great, the backyard couch is super comfy, and there's even an outdoor TV. We used it all! John was welcoming, extremely helpful, and communicative; he responded quickly whenever we had a question. He sent an access code so we could enter the home without any delay or fuss. One thing renters should know is that John lives in this house at least some of the time, which means he has belongings there (though he does a great job cleaning them up). They were not in the way and it made the house feel warm. It also means the kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. We cooked a lot, so that was a bonus. The TV and electronics were actually easy to use, to turn on and off, and the wifi worked great. The house was very clean, and as we left to head home a cleaning crew was already waiting outside. We did not worry about germs or viruses at all. We will definitely return if we are in the area again. Highly recommend it!

Love to help guests enjoy the creative, beachy vibe of Venice, with it's bohemian counterculture, 5 star restaurants, mixed with hipsters and hi tech yuppies. Enjoy it all right hear just a ten minute walk from the beach , two minutes to canals, and ten minutes to the world famous Abbott Kinney Blvd, with it's renowned restaurants and shops.
