Les Taiga Maison - vue sur la montagne inspirant à la lisière du parc national de Denali

La Taiga House est situé dans la forêt, juste au nord du parc national de Denali. Une fois un spacieux B & B connu comme "Le Grand View" il a été refait dans une maison de famille avec deux locations de vacances. Nos trois chambres, seconde résidence de plancher est fixé, encore privé, avec une entrée et la cour de son propre, une vue imprenable sur le paysage de montagnes de la région et le charme abondante. Il peut accueillir six personnes, avec 2 lits doubles et un lit de repos avec lit gigogne sous, salle de bain complète, grand salon / salle à manger et une cuisine entièrement équipée ainsi qu'un lave-linge / sèche-linge.
Il y a un bar-b-que grill, table de pique-nique, un foyer et en pleine nature étonnante juste devant la porte.
Il y a des restaurants, une brasserie artisanale et petites épiceries à seulement dix minutes de marche sur la piste, ou à deux minutes de route, et beaucoup plus de restaurants, bars et boutiques douze miles au sud de la zone touristique animée appelé Glitter Gulch l'extérieur de la entrée de Denali Park.

Location is great for possible wildlife viewing. House was quiet and has great views of the mountains. Very close to Denali and places for gas, groceries, and restaurants. I would recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here in Denali. This is a great spot and location. Hiking in property and amazing views! Todd and Julie are great! Super informative and incredibly nice. I highly recommend staying here!

The Taiga House is FABULOUS! We loved every moment. Kitchen facilities are OUTSTANDING! The appliances are top-of-the line. The house is immaculate. Lighting, heating, cleanliness, organization of linens and kitchen equipment made our stay extremely comfortable and easy. To top it off, the sunset views from the second floor were unbelievable! I will definitely return.

Great place to stay

I would stay here over and over again! Great property with a gorgeous, scenic view. Todd was very welcoming, and told us about his well worn path to hike on his property. We slept five adults comfortably. It was clean and just perfect place to stay for our family.

Great location near Denali

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had anything we might need. The owner, Todd, stopped by to welcome us and ask if we needed anything. I would very much recommend staying here.

We agree with all of the previous lauditory reviews, and would only add that we were very impressed with the high quality selection of kitchen knives. It added to the delight of preparing our meals and enjoying them with stellar mountain views.

Great place to stay while visiting Denali

After mounting the stairs and opening the door, you are greeted by a most glorious view. This apartment is beautifully furnished with high quality items. If you are exploring this part of Alaska, I highly recommend staying at Taiga house.

Easy to book great communication

We booked last minutes while traveling in Alaska and an unexpected flight changed forced a sudden cancellation. The hosts were quick to respond and generous with their policy. Will definitely stay with them when we return and can get to the Denali area.

Pretty dope for one bath.

Really great. House was clean and easy. The dogs were super nice, cute, and fun. Only challenge was 1 bathroom for 6 people but the ad was accurate and we knew it going in. Still we had a great time and I would give high marks all around.

Gem in Healy

Very clean house. Beautiful property, very close to Denali entrance. Even closer to Grocery, Gas and 49th State Brewery which is very big, modern and has very good food. The house was cleaner, nicer, and larger than I was expecting. Close enough to the park for convenience but just far enough where you felt out in the wilderness and away from the crowds.

Fabulous View!

This is the most fabulous view of the Alaskan mountains from our multiple living area windows. Also has a really nice hiking trail through the woods on the property. Location is convenient to restaurants, grocery store, gas station, and just a few miles north of Denali NP entrance. To top it off host was very friendly, good conversationalist and three of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. I could go on forever about how much we enjoyed our stay. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place, friendly hosts

The Taiga house is exactly as advertised and the backyard was a huge bonus. Comfortable house with a kitchen that made it easy to cook a few meals. Great access to Denali. Near grocery store and (underwhelming yet popular) brewery. Bedrooms have the best blackout curtains I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately the park was closed while we were in town but there is a 4 mile hike right out the back of the property that was fun for the family.

Beautiful spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the view and walking the property. The owner was very friendly and responsive. We didn’t bring shampoo and body wash, but he found a few extra travel size bottles and gave them to us (be sure to bring your own!). Bear spray was provide though. The location is an easy drive to Denali. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and beautiful.

The home was very comfortable - comfy living room, comfortable beds, and good water pressure. We slept 5 with the trundle bed no problem. Full kitchen was clean, updated, and essential items. Pics can’t do the view from living room and kitchen justice. Full line of large windows that ran length of the property looking out at the mountains could not be beat. Had to pull myself away from the view. 15 min drive to Denali was scenic and I am so glad we decided to stay in Healy rather than Glitter Gultch. Great restaurant only 5 min away, grocery, hardware, and essentials right around the corner. Property owner was nearby, super friendly, attentive, but left us alone except for a friendly greeting and a few tips of the area. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful sceney and very comfortable place to stay, only a short drive to Denali entrance and 49th st brewery. We saw a moose and her baby by the road to the house. We loved every minute of our stay.

We had a great stay at The Taiga House. Location was great, on the edge of Healy which gave us great proximity to Denali NP, but also a bit away from the crowds. We loved looking out the windows to the forest in the backyard. Property was very clean and nice. Well stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were great, with helpful directions and good information. We had a leaky shower head the first night we were there and they fixed it quickly and seamlessly for us. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

Awesome stay

Wonderful spot for a family. Pictures don't do the home or the view justice. Truly wonderful. Extremely well equipped kitchen with high quality appliances and accessories, and many thoughtful touches throughout thr home. Nearby Three Bears grocery store very easy to get to and prices were really reasonable. Quick hop to the Denali park road. Wonderful hosts, super cute and friendly dogs on property. Would 1000% return.

Vous êtes reçu par Todd and Julie Shorey

The Taiga House is owned by Todd and Julie Shorey. Todd travelled to Alaska in 1986 and discovered the wonders of Denali National Park and the warmth of the people of the Interior, and never left. He has worked as a tour guide in the summer sun, and a carpenter on many Denali projects through out the winter months. Julie is a life long Alaskan, who grew up just down the road in Cantwell. Our family enjoys salmon fishing, hiking in Denali, picking and eating the seasonal berries, and the winter sports of ice hockey and skiing. Life is good for us here in Healy, and we look forward to sharing our mountain view home with you, and our knowledge of the Alaskan Interior.

Our family purchased this house and six acres of property in 2011 as we moved north from McKinley Village, and instantly fell in love with the open landscape that flows from the south door to the Mountains of Denali Park. As a family we have worked together to create a home, as well as guest spaces for visitors to enjoy. We are sure you'll agree that our location is ideal for your once in a lifetime Alaskan experience.
