Partagez Our Lakeside Paradise

Les enfants sont partis, le quai est vide et cet endroit est trop spĂ©cial pour ne pas ĂȘtre partagĂ©. Nous avons converti l'Ă©tage en un appartement d'une chambre pour votre plaisir. Il dispose d'un lit queen-size et la cuisine / coin repas comprend un ensemble de lits superposĂ©s jumeaux. Toutes les chambres partagent une vue sur le lac Pend Oreille et les montagnes de Selkirk. Nous venons de construire une rampe directement du parking Ă  la porte d'entrĂ©e. Notre maison est entourĂ©e de cĂšdres gĂ©ants et donne sur le lac Ă  Sandpoint (6 mile en voiture) et Schweitzer Mountain (18 mile en voiture). AccĂšs complet Ă  toutes les autres commoditĂ©s de la propriĂ©tĂ© comprenant notre foyer (Smores quelqu'un?) et bain Ă  remous en hiver, ou le quai, barbecue, toboggan et lac en Ă©tĂ©. Les Ă©quipements supplĂ©mentaires incluent un local Ă  skis chauffĂ© et un entretien expert des Ă©quipements sur demande en hiver, ainsi que l'amarrage des bateaux sur place en Ă©tĂ©. Mais ce qui distingue vraiment cette propriĂ©tĂ©, c'est d'avoir les propriĂ©taires comme ressource Ă  temps plein. Nous avons Ă©levĂ© nos enfants ici, connaissons toutes les activitĂ©s et destinations locales et pouvons vous aider Ă  rĂ©soudre des besoins de voyage imprĂ©vus. Une sorte de service de conciergerie.

Five Star Unforgettable Family Getaway in Sandpoint!

We just returned from an incredible family vacation in Sandpoint, Idaho, and we’re already dreaming about coming back! The renta was everything we hoped for, and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The property was perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The kids especially loved the bunk room, hot tub and of course the slide on the dock. It was the perfect spot for evenings after a day of adventure. The location couldn't have been better — just minutes from downtown Sandpoint, with its charming shops, delicious restaurants, and friendly locals. We spent our days on Lake Pend Oreille and in the charming town.One of the highlights was relaxing on the deck in the mornings with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds and soaking in the peaceful forested surroundings. Couldn’t ask for more

We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at this beautiful location. Our trip took an unexpected turn with a storm and a nearly sunk boat. The property owner Shep and Joy went so far above and beyond to help us. We cannot thank them enough. Please do not hesitate to book your stay. Fishing, swimming, and paddle boarding from their dock will be fond memories for years to come.

Great location, gorgeous lake, owners were incredibly nice and responsive. Loved having use of the kayaks, and the jacuzzi was perfect in the evenings.

Visited Sandpoint over Labor Day Weekend, staying with Shep & Joy was the highlight! Their space has beautiful views & lots of fun things to do regardless of the season. Felt right at home, such a blessing to share their home for us to experience!

Little piece of paradise

We had an absolute amazing time at Shep and Joy's place. The water slide, garden, and kitty cat made being on the lake extra special. Shep and Joy were especially kind to our children. We will stay again!

Great Views from every Window!!

My husband and I visited Sagle to attend a wedding. What a beautiful location!! The unit is mostly equipped with all you will need. Both Shep and Joy were fabulous hosts! We want to come back in the winter when there is snow!!!

Great experience

Beautiful property. We loved our stay and sad we didn’t have time to enjoy the dock and lake. Owners were wonderful. Shep greeted us upon arrival, and shared area information with us. Although the VRBO was above the owners living area, we never saw them, but made himself available if we did need something. Definitely stay here again if in the area.

Amazing!

Shep and Joy are wonderful guests. They are the true meaning of hospitality and made my friend and I feel welcomed and at home. Shep also gave us some great insights and local recs. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely want to stay with them and hope to see if Shep can give us a tour of the mountain!

Couple's Trip 2023

The property was absolutely beautiful. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property. The beds were extremely comfortable. All three bedrooms had king-sized beds and fireplaces. The kitchen was well organized and labeled and everything you will need. We enjoyed the game room I give it a 10 out of 10. I love Matt, he's a gem. The check-in and check-out was easy. I love Heaven's Cabins and will be booking with them again.

Beautiful lake place with wonderful hosts. Our kids absolutely loved the slide on the dock and gorgeous setting. The beds were cozy and place was so clean. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect stay

We were traveling through from a week long vacation and only booked for one night. We wished we could of stayed longer, as the stay was perfect. We met Shep when we arrived and he was such a pleasant host. Wished we had more time to chat

Great property! Great hosts!

Our family of four had a great time at this location. The accommodations were clean and just the right size for us. Despite not having a kitchen, it was well equipped with many kitchen tools and utensils that were useful. Our kids loved swimming by the dock and the slide. The hosts were beyond caring and informative. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing experience!!

I can’t say enough about Shep, Joy and the rental property. They were absolutely front row and went out of their way to make our vacation a positive experience. Communication and response timeliness was great. The rental and grounds were exceptionally well kept. You can tell that Shep and Joy have put a lot of hard work into their place and are proud to be able to share with others. Will definitely be going back!

Charming property with great views

A lovely base camp to spend a few days in the Sandpoint area. A 10-12 minute drive to downtown made for the perfect mix of seclusion while still having access to all that sandpoint offers. The hosts (Shep and Joy) are very friendly and welcoming.

We're both career military officers and travelled all over the USA and the World for 30 years. Shep is now the director of an alpine ski racing team, and also runs an avalanche school. Joy is an avid skier, sailor and kayaker when not keeping a lid on things at home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

As we prepared to retire from the military we searched for a small town to raise our children. Another essential ingredient was finding a place where we could pursue our hobbies of skiing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, etc, etc. Sandpoint has it all!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our home offers the quiet of the South shore while being minutes away from downtown Sandpoint. Most of the residences on our road are vacant in the Winter, and few things are finer than sitting in the hot tub, gazing at lights across the lake with the only sounds being snowflakes floating through the trees. In the Summer, the lake gives us fast and easy access to everything town has to offer.
