Descendez les escaliers jusqu'à la petite plage de sable avec récif et bassins de marée à explorer; marcher vers l'est sur 100 mètres vers la droite et trouver une zone de baignade et un trou de serrure donnant sur l'océan; Continuez à marcher vers l'est encore 100 mètres jusqu'à l'extrémité ouest de la magnifique baie de Kawela.

A Slice of Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful and well appointed. It was clean and ready when we arrived. Instructions are easy to follow to enter and leave. The outdoor shower was perfect!!! It was great to get all the sand off before going back in the house. Beach was nice - the little tide pools and sandy areas were a great and safe place for the young kids to play. A short walk down the coast in either direction led to sandy swimming beaches. The views from the house and deck are amazing. It does get a little warm in the late afternoon due to the sun - use the curtains to block the sun and it cools off at dusk/dark. Also be prepared to use a charcoal grill - we haven’t used charcoal in years but was a nice BBQ and we enjoyed eating our meals together on the deck over looking the ocean. Wonderful family vacation. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view but cheap on supplies

The website on this property is accurate. The ocean view and sounds of the surf in the winter are what makes this property quite desirable, although please know that the waters are not conducive to swimming in the winter (true for most of the North Shore of Oahu). However, given the premium price charged we were very disappointed with the poor maintenance and supplies. Some of the screens were torn and the screen door to the lanai does not work properly. The dials on the stove are worn off. None of the electrical outlets work in the upstairs bathroom. There is no garbage disposal. The toilet paper provided is single ply, which is not what one would expect in any expensive rental property. The towels were of high quality. The double mattress in the downstairs bedroom needs to be flipped and turned or replaced. Please note that there is no ocean access from the yard. The owners should better maintain this property or reduce the price. We stayed for a week in February 2024 and are permanent residents of Oahu.

We were excited to see some new updates around the house. The view is outstanding- we saw countless whales from the lanai. It was the perfect beach for our littles and the location was ideal. This is real Hawaii waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and enjoying an evening cocktail watching the beautiful sunset. Kawela Bay is a short walk on the beach from the house or a short drive. Gorgeous area for walking/hiking/swimming/surfing...just the best! This house is wonderful and we've built some lifelong memories here.

Great Beach House Rental on North Shore

Beautiful, quiet location, very clean with all the amenities we needed. The pictures depict the property very well. The sound of the waves as you sit on the lanai were so peaceful and the sunset views were amazing. Highly recommend this spot. We did a lot up in the North shore area, including a sunset cruise. We did have a rental car so we were able to do Pearl Harbor & Honolulu as well. The property managers were very responsive & customer service was great. I would definitely use them again next time we are in Hawaii. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

Amazing weekend!

My husband and I were looking for a beach side stay for our wedding location and also a place for our family to also stay with us. Our first reactions when we walked in the door was just “wow”! The house is beautiful! It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The backyard is also the perfect location for a small wedding (we did it during sunset) and the pictures turned out amazing! Our weekend honestly couldn’t have been any better!

Great location right in the beach and private

Great location on North Shore by all the wonderful beaches. It was quite far from Honolulu. We filled all the beds, and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom situation was a bit crammed, no bathroom privacy. The kitchen was well stocked. Parking was good. Upstairs was hot and humid, we asked the management company for another AC unit and they installed it for us, which made it more comfortable. There were no shade blinds on the big windows downstairs which made is very hot at peak day and evening. The house was located right on the ocean with a small sandy beach, good sized yard for star gazing, and a nice patio for lounging. The garbage situation was not good; the containers were not labeled well, and the prior guest garbage filled all the bins already when we arrived. The management asked us to move trash that was wrongly in the yard bin to another trash bin, and there were maggots. It was disgusting and really was not our responsibility to deal with the poor trash situation. There were a lot of flies we had to combat constantly in the house and on the porch. There were some beach toys and swim gear on the side of the house which was nice to use. There was an outdoor shower that got good use. There was a dead lizard in the upstairs stuck in the wooden rafters which was creepy. The inside couch was actually outdoor patio furniture and that could be improved for comfort. Overall it was enjoyable and mostly comfortable, but also had some drawbacks.

Perfect Vacation Getaway and Sunset Wedding

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the pleasure of staying for a full week in this house. It was perfect for our family of 8. The house is spacious and clean, everything we could need was provided and much more. The washer and dryer were awesome. The outdoor shower was amazing, it even had hot water! Great beach access, the beach is pretty rocky so not the greatest for swimming, but pretty awesome for snorkeling and watching for turtles. We had a small wedding ceremony down on the beach at sunset, and the setting was serene and intimate. Everything we could have hoped for. I will cherish the memories we made on this trip, and in this house, forever. We will definitely be back!

Best Vacation Ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time renting this house! We got married on the beach in the back yard and it was a dream come true. Waking up to the ocean view was amazing. I did not want to leave. The house was very spacious and had everything you needed except for food of course. It was a bit warm but at night time we would open up an the windows and the breeze would cool it down. There are window ACs in the bedrooms however the upstairs is open to the downstairs but the large fan made it comfortable to sleep at night. I would suggest one of the wall AC units in the living room to cool it better during the day. Overall our experience was the best. The washer had a mildew smell but that was expected being on a humid island. Foodland was 10 minutes away. Kind of pricey but convenient or you can drive to Walmart which is about 45 minutes away. We loved the north shore side because it felt like home. We will be renting this house again in the near future. We can't wait to return!

Location was amazing!! House was great!! Great neighborhood!!! ONLY downside was no blinds on sliding glass doors to prevent afternoon sun from reflecting off water and into the living room but would book again - no problem. Was my family’s first time here and they LOVED it

Amazing view but very warm inside

It has amazing views at sunset. The beach is not very user friendly as far as snorkeling but, there are tons right down the road. It has AC but doesn't really down the space so it was very warm during our stay.

Incredible place! Perfect

This is a great place with a perfect location. So close to everything on the North Shore and yet super private and quiet. It was like we had our own private beach. Rocks right in front of unit but very short walk either way to sand. Beautiful. Close by farmers markets for fresh fruit. Can't recommend enough. Would stay here again. All communication was great and so friendly. We loved it. So sad to leave

Wonderful Situation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed at this wonderful holiday home for 5 nights in July 2023. A beautiful spot with views across the Pacific, though the beach isn't most people's idea of a swimming beach. Close to great beaches though, eating establishments and all the north shore has to offer. Unfortunately the a/c hasn't really been done efficiently so expect a noisy and very hot night's sleep. Also the neighbouring properties are rentals, so we had nights lit up by hundreds of lights strung up in trees next door and other people's kids waking us running around on our deck.

Lovely Family Reunion Celebration

This was the first big trip with just the adults, and the property was just a dream. There was plenty of room for 6 adults, spotlessly clean, and the view was unbelievably beautiful. Quiet and relaxing but close to great snorkeling and cute towns. I highly recommend it!

Perfect North Shore house for family

The best view you could ever ask for. Spacious, comfortable, in a good spot near great beaches. Couldn’t be happier with our time on the north shore and would suggest a house up here over a hotel down south any day!

North Shore Dream Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 3 Bedroom, 2 bath plus loft beachfront house was perfect for my family of 8. The near-bye Farmers Market and fantastic sunset view from the back-porch made the idea of grilling at home perfect. Alternatively, we leveraged the nearbye food trucks (including Giovanni's) for our meals, bringing the food back to the house to eat and savor the view. The beach in front of the unit has some rocks, but just a short walk down revealed several wonderful swimming spots. We also, popped in the car and went to Sunset Beach, Pipeline, Pupukeia, and Waimeia Bay. Pupukeia (aka Sharks Cove) being one of the best snorkeling spots on the island (when conditions are right) was only 4.4 miles away.

We had to wash beach towels every night. Maybe for longer stays there should be extra towels .
