We come in mid Summer but tried later in the season this year. My wife and I might try this time of year again and stay longer next year. The bike rental was easy and fun also. Best of all we got to get in the property rental earlier in the day which helped us get settled and enjoy more of or time!

Lovely Second Floor Apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was exactly what we needed for two adults and 4 kids. It is right next to the bike path that leads to the beach and very close to the hotel that has pool privileges. The rental came with a beach gear credit that saved us space in our vehicle. The rental was clean and had enough linens for our group. Deer often visited in the evening and you could see them from the balcony or go down to see them more closely.

We loved the location, steps from the beach and directly on the bike path, and the clean, comfortable unit. It was quiet and scenic and really perfect for us. As always, our interactions with Jekyll Realty were great from beginning to end. Connie notified of us of some brief work that was being done to the property one day, which was very thoughtful. We also appreciated that they checked in with us via email during our stay to be sure that everything was going well.

It was well-furnished, with super comfortable beds... so important when you want to rest up from all of the island activities! The location is super convenient to the beach, and just a short bike ride to lots of amenities. We arrived late, but the lights were left on for us, and the keyless entry made everything so easy. We will definitely keep this on our list of favortite places to stay when visiting our beloved Jekyll Island!

a wonderful, restful, get-away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two seniors tired of being isolated at home decided to spend the holiday on Jekyll Island. We were delighted at the opportunity to really ENJOY this busy time in an environment where we really felt safe and not overwhelmed by crowds. We went on the Dolphin tour, played miniature golf, took a horse drawn carriage ride and got a short history of the "cottages". We walked on Driftwood Beach and sunbathed on another. On a third beach we watched a family using fishing nets and shared in the joy of their catch. We walked the tour and learned about the last slave ship known to have touched America's shore. We sang the Twelve Days of Christmas as we went down a decorated street looking for the bear. Couldn't have asked for more.
