If you are looking to get away and have beautiful views this is the place. Thanks to Bonnie for her tour of the animals on the property. We enjoyed feeding the miniature ponyâs and donkey. Smokey the miniature cow was so cute too. Great farm house and so much property to enjoy. We loved it. Quiet and peaceful!
Warm, charming and lovely stay. Best communication and effort to make us the happiest. Can not wait to return and we have already told our family and friends about this little secret gem in sisters.
When we walked inside, my jaw dropped! This property was like I'd just walked into my home. There wasn't one thing forgotten and all of the personal touches throughout the property. None of us wanted to leave.
Bonnie is a wonderful host, as we will remember our stay for a lifetime.
A Christmas To Remember...
What an amazing place with a wonderful feel. This property is obviously well taken care of. We met the owner briefly and she was very welcoming and friendly. The place is very private and has wonderful views of the familiesâ working ranch and of the mountains beyond. We came for the Sisters folk festival and will be back again in the years to come.
My husband, dog and I thoroughly enjoying staying at the farmhouse. The property was beautiful and inside the house was cozy. In specific, loved the hot tub and the bed was very comfortable. It was a very relaxing get away, with down town Sisters only a 15 minute drive away. Highly recommend.
Everything was perfect. The inside was clean and well maintained. The property was beautiful and quiet.
When you're sitting in the living room watching TV and you keep hearing a thump, don't be scared, it's just the pinecones hitting the roof.
Would definitly stay there again.
I have now stayed here multiple times, and I will keep coming back. The setting is incredible. There is nothing that can top it. The home is excellent. All amenities. And the host is attentive, as needed.
This was our 2nd stay and we loved it even more the second time. Beautiful views from every window and the majestic mountain views were the antidote to busy city lives. Bonnie was very responsive to a question. And she sent something I left behind. Sheâs a great hostess!
My wife loves Mountains. When we arrived at the property The driveway twists around a road surrounded by Ponderosa pines and juniper trees. When you reach the farm house, it sits in a park like setting of a rich manicured lawn. And then you see the many snow capped mountains. They look so close youâd think you could hit them with a golf club. My wife nearly cried. The house was a charming old farmhouse that the host had painstakingly remodeled to capture the touch and feel of a home of that era. The home was spotless, and had everything you needed for a care free stay. We had one of the nicest stays you can imagine. We walked on several trails thru the property and even the trails thru the forest was clean and well maintained. The host checked in to make sure we were comfortable but not to bother us.
I would have to say, after renting countless VRBOâs this was the best experience weâve ever had.
This was an excellent property. Well maintained. Clean. Top quality amenities. Very well appointed. No odd ball items, that is customary to find. There are just not many places this good. And the view and setting are just amazing.
Our stay at the Farmhouse was exactly what I needed to recharge my soul. Life in Portland, working from home during the pandemic has been soul crushing. The Farmhouse is so beautiful, peaceful, and quit. The nearest neighbor is several acres away. The property is huge with trails to accommodate an easy stroll through the ponderosa pines. The host Bonnie was incredibly accommodating.
When your ready to join society, downtown Sisters is only 15 minutes away. Most of the shops have made it through the pandemic. We came away with a lot of beautiful artwork. If you need a place to recharge, this place can be your haven.
This house has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Great location, amazing views, and all the amenities right down to the treats for our four-legged companion.
My husband, adult daughter, dogs and I spent Christmas at the Farm House. The house was spotless, cozy and very comfortable. The owners were available for any questions with a quick response. The property is beautiful. We would gladly stay again!
The property was beautiful and cozy! Great location close to Sisters. It had everything we needed and was cozy, peaceful and pristine.
Was great for just the 2 of us, but would also be great for a larger group. Highly recommendđ
If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing spot for a getaway this is the perfect spot. Traveling down the long windy driveway you find yourself far from any neighbors and surrounded by beautiful views. The house is well equipped and very comfortable for a family of four. We also brought our little dog and he was happy to find treats and a comfy bed waiting for him. The kitchen had everything we needed and was spotless. Wifi worked well for those who had work commitments (there is also a good sized office in the house which came in handy). We also enjoyed the hot tub after long adventure days.
Bonnie was a great host and was very responsive. We had a small issue with the washing machine which she quickly resolved. We wouldn't hesitate to have a repeat visit at this lovely retreat and would highly recommend it to friends.
The pictures donât even match how beautiful the grounds, walking trails, and overall experience it was to stay here. It has everything you need and the views or mountains or stars at night were incredible. Bonnie was a generous host and a delight. We will be back.
Also they are very cool if you have dogs!
The Farmhouse is a sweet property with everything you need and stunning views. It was very comfortable, welcoming and pleasant. The dog loved the wide open spaces and the humans loved the ambiance and the hot tub. The owner, Bonnie, was helpful but gave us the privacy we desired. Close to town, hilking trails and snowshoeing. Ideal.
We had a terrific time in this lovely home with views of the Sisters peaks. Very comfortable bed, and the hot tub on the back deck was perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing or hiking. The sprawling farm roads were great for long walks with our dog.
Bonnie is a super responsive and friendly host. This was one of our very best vacation home rentals ever.
This farmhouse -and the entire property- is incredibly special. Iâve been coming to Sisters for decades and this is by far the most amazing respite from the everyday world weâve found.
Agree that the photos do not do it justice. It is a wonderful blend of rustic charm and new conveniences- absolutely ideal. Setting is private yet only a short 8 minute car ride to downtown Sisters. (Or mountain bike ride along the trails!) You can spend your visit just exploring the property, though. Enjoy walking the trails and the land and saying hi to the sweet animals on the farm. Weâll be back!
This was the perfect getaway for us! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous and serene! The home was cozy and very well stocked and prepped for our little family. Extremely dog friendly and clean! I am a bit of a snob when it comes to bedding and this was one of the few homes that I have rented with Down Comforters and very comfortable beds. There were two bikes for our use as well on the many trails and walking paths throughout the property. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and definitely one we will be doing again!
This is a beautifully furnished, comfortable house idyllically located on a farm. Sitting on the porch, with a view of the Sisters peaks in the background and horses in the nearby field canât be beat.
Bonnie is a great host to top it off. This was our second visit & we will be back!
We stayed at this property August 1-8, 2020. The house was perfect just as pictured on VRBO. Very relaxing with a fantastic Mountain View. Everything you need is at the house. Conveniently located to many beautiful sites. We traveled somewhere each day and came back early to enjoy the hot tub, fire pit and peaceful surroundings, the view is amazing. The owners are friendly and available as needed. My favorite and most relaxing vacation yet. Oregon is beautiful.

My wife and I recently stayed nine nights at Bonnieâs and Nealâs Farmhouse near Sisters, Oregon. In summary, wow! Besides being a wonderful farm house in a beautiful and peaceful setting, it is tastefully decorated and well maintained. It just felt cozy - you know that feeling when everything is just right. It was complete with a working fireplace, bbq, hot tub, and fenced yard. The beds were fit for a king and queen - the pressed Egyptian cotton sheets were simply marvelous. Netflix was available on all three TVs (one in the living room and each bedroom). The owners, Bonnie and Neal, were very helpful and caring without being intrusive. They encouraged us to use the paved and natural trails to wander around their 165 acre property and provided two bicycles to help make that happen.
This is our third VRBO in the Bend/Sisters/Redmond area, and while the others were nice, this farmhouse felt like it was at a whole new level. We canât wait until our next trip when we will be sure to return to this farmhouse. I would encourage any of my friends to stay.
Neal and i were both born and raised in Oregon. I was raised in Lebanon and Neal was raided on a potato farm in Malin. He moved to to Central Oregon in 1966 after graduating from Pacific University in Forest Grove. I came to Redmond in 1967. Neal taught physical education and I taught adult education, sewing at night for Central Oregon Community College.
We met and married in 1986 and started Your $10 Stores. He left teaching to work with the stores. We opened 50 stores in two years. 25 were ours and 25 were folks who wanted help to open their own.
We still operate 4 clothing stores in Sisters, Sunriver and Seaside. We have dropped the $10 and the are just names Your Store. Our price today to $6.99 to $24.99.
In 1996 we opened a guest ranch on this property and it was called Rags to Walkers. The big white barn was full of Tennessee Walking horses and Frank White Stables. We were in operation until 2001. We found that running the stores and the guest ranch was more than we could do. So after a long rest, we had used VBRO when we had the guest ranch and decided to reopen a the three locations in Sisters and two in Seaside. So in 2017 we opened the bunkhouse and a private suite in our house in Seaside.
In 2018 we added another private suite with a private entrance in Seaside. This room has an outside deck and a spectacular view of the ocean.
In December 2018 we completed a complete remodel on one of the farmhouses on the property. The farmhouse sleeps four. IN March 2019 another farmhouse, we call the cottage, was completely remodeled right down to the 2x4's.
Both homes have large complete kitchens and amazing mountain views.
We love sharing our farm and like traveling with our dogs so one dog is welcome.
Come visit and enjoy our trails and all the animals that reside here.
We purchased this property in stages. The red cedar home we bought unfinished in 1993. the cottage was here and it sat in the front yard. We moved it to the edge of the pond for my mom and dad. They lived out their lives in this peaceful setting. The property with the big white house and barn was built by us in 1996 completed. The forty acres of forest behind the red cedar house was purchased 2012 and the last piece that is at the end of Farthing Lane and behind the Big white house was purchased in 2015.
This property offers Peace and quiet, Love of animals and wonderful views. Alpacas, Llamas, mini horses, tennessee Walkers and pet mini and full size steers.
Biking and animals are our passion and this property give us all and more than we expected. The Mountain biking on the property will give you about 5 miles of please and we connect with Petersen Ridge Trail System.
