PropriĂ©tĂ© au bord de l'eau unique situĂ©e dans le pittoresque petit village de pĂȘcheurs de Fortescue, NJ. Lancez une ligne juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du pont et dĂ©tendez-vous toute la journĂ©e sur la baie. L'un des joyaux cachĂ©s du New Jersey. À 25 minutes de NJ Motorsports Park, de Millville Arts District et de Wheaton Village. 1 heure de la plupart des points de la rive sud comme Atlantic City, Wildwood et Cape May!

PĂȘche, canotage, observation des oiseaux, vĂ©lo, randonnĂ©e pĂ©destre, pĂȘche au crabe, verre de mer et chasse aux coquillages!

Emplacement au bord de l'eau oĂč vous pouvez pĂȘcher, crabe ou simplement vous dĂ©tendre toute la journĂ©e en profitant de votre vue sur la baie du Delaware. De beaux sentiers de randonnĂ©e situĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ© de la maison, de nombreuses possibilitĂ©s de photographie et de profiter des plus beaux couchers de soleil autour.

2 chambres - 1 chambre Queen, 1 Twin avec lit gigogne, 1 salle de bain. Lit de repos double dans le salon pour un espace de couchage supplémentaire. Privé fermé sous porche. Le pont avant est partagé avec la propriété voisine.

Veuillez noter qu'il s'agit d'un petit village de pĂȘcheurs. Les points de rivage sont Ă  moins d'une heure de route.

* 1 place de parking réservée (max 2 véhicules)

* Veuillez vous assurer d'apporter votre propre Ă©quipement de pĂȘche et un insectifuge (je recommande Off! Deep Woods) si vous restez pendant les mois d'Ă©tĂ©.

* La zone de protection de la faune s'Ă©tend sur 1300 acres, c'est donc un endroit idĂ©al pour l'observation des oiseaux ainsi que pour la pĂȘche, le vĂ©lo, la marche, la randonnĂ©e et d'autres activitĂ©s de plein air. Beaux sentiers de randonnĂ©e Ă  proximitĂ©.

* Veuillez rester respectueux de la maison, des voisins et du paysage environnant.

* La maison est une maison de type duplex. La disposition est deux maisons séparées reliées à l'avant par un passage couvert.

* L'épicerie la plus proche est située à Millville, NJ, à environ 25 minutes, alors assurez-vous d'apporter tous les aliments nécessaires et votre propre grill extérieur si vous le souhaitez.

Remarque spéciale: Pendant les heures de jour en juin et juillet, les mouches vertes sont un ravageur autour des zones riveraines de Fortescue. Si vous prévoyez d'amener des enfants, veuillez noter qu'ils auront du mal à sortir pendant ces mois. Les bogues sont moins problématiques à partir de fin août.

LE RECYCLAGE est nĂ©cessaire ici selon les exigences de la ville. Canettes, bouteilles en plastique et verre. Tout le reste peut ĂȘtre jetĂ© Ă  la poubelle ordinaire. En rĂ©servant cette maison, vous acceptez de recycler ces articles.

Total relaxation

We chose this spot last year because we were looking for a place to get away from everything, be still for a while and enjoy the sun, the water and the fishing. It was all that we hoped it would be and more so we came back again this year. And we plan to return next year as well. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Fisherman's dream house

Hubby was very happy about the bay being right outside the doors! He was fishing every morning and we were at the beach every single day with the 5 year old! The pictures don't do this place justice.. I was very happy with the space! Erica was also very responsive to any questions I had as well.. we will be coming back!

AMAZING!!!!!

This was one of the BEST rentals that my family and I have stayed. The house was very clean. The furnishing made the house feel just like home.....very comfortable and welcoming. The view was BREATHTAKING absolutely BREATHTAKING. We brought our own food and the kitchen had everything we needed. We drove 20 minutes to the Shop rite which was fine because we loved looking around in the area. The fishing was AWESOME!!!!! There are even holes in the deck rail to put your rods as well as a sink outside to clean your fish if you wanted to keep any. We caught and released though. There aren't enough adjectives to describe our stay in this home. There was a gentlemen next door working on his home. He had to be one of the nicest people we've met while vacationing. If you get a chance to stay here please stop by Higbees the gentleman that works there is extremely nice and will tell you everything you need to know about the fishing in the Bay. Erika was so amazing. She was attentive to any questions that we had, which weren't many as everything is explained thoroughly before and at check in. We are already planning our next trip to Fortescue since this home is also very handicap accessible we will be bringing my Grandparents. My Grandfather is a fishermen and this would be perfect for him. We absolutely loved this place. We miss it already. Thank you so much Erika for everythibg!!!!!

Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at this property! My communications with Erika were excellent, and the home was exceptional. Erika has seen to it that everything we could possibly have needed was available, and it was perfect down to the smallest detail. The bayside deck is outstanding, and we loved the nearby beach. We were looking for a quiet getaway near water and this was perfect!

Quiet time away

Very nice, great deck for hanging out with fabulous view! Had fun fishing and crabbing, caught a variety of fish. People were friendly and beach is nice to take a walk.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This is a vacation! Peaceful and relaxing. Great fishing right off the deck. Far enough away from major shore points to avoid the crowds, but close enough if you want to visit those areas. Erika was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back next year!

50th wedding anniversary

My husband I and stayed here to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Fortescu is a small fishing village about an hour from Cape May, so to find things to do it's a bit of a drive. But if you're looking for peace and quiet and a place right on the water, this is it. The deck is amazing -- great deck furniture to sit, sip wine, and read all afternoon -- and the sunsets are awesome. Erika is a great host and available by phone for any questions. We hope to be able to stay here again!

Loved the fresh breeze and quiet

Renting was very easy and straightforward. She answered all my questions quickly and accurately. The town is really a remote fishing village with some small sandy beach patches good for fishing and walking. The one restaurant and diner are within easy walking distance. For city folk looking for a quiet escape, this is a lovely spot to feel the breeze and watch the sunset, but you definitely need a car and bug spray! Great little getaway

Peace and Quiet directly on the Delaware Bay.

What a lovely experience and peaceful alternative to the shore scene. Directly on the Delaware Bay with quiet mornings, beautiful sunsets and evenings on the deck. A fisherman’s paradise with many shorebirds and boating activity on the Delaware.

Best fishing ever!

We came with modest expectations and left determined to return. This is a great place to get some peaceful rest, away from crowds, and to do some great fishing. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and we found ourselves daily remarking how great it was.

Beautiful views!

I was a little apprehensive about booking this unit as there were no reviews but wanted a place to just relax right on the water so went ahead and took a chance! I’m so glad that I did- I really think this place is even better in person than the pictures suggest! Everything was in good condition and working order, super clean, comfortable beds, excellent AC throughout the house. We wanted a place that we could just relax and enjoy water views and this certainly fits the bill- views are amazing, you are so close to the water that you feel that you are almost on a ship! The town- well let’s say it is a little remote so if you are looking for shopping or activities there are not many- or any. There was one restaurant open for pick-up which was fine and you have a full kitchen so we just brought some meals with us. We did venture out for coffee one day to the closest town which was Millville, but it was quite a ride (30 minutes). If you are looking for a place to relax and be comfortable and enjoy nature- this is it! We did not have any issue with the green-head flies – I know this can be an issue as there was a man with a boat that said “Greenhead Hotel”, so I guess it’s just a matter of luck or wind if they are a nuisance- we did not have any issues with them. I would recommend and book this unit again- owner was super helpful and accommodating with special request!
