Découvrez le Old West et les grands espaces du Wiley Spur Ranch! Situé à seulement 6 miles de Gunnison, Colorado et à 32 km de Crested Butte et du mont. Crested Butte, vous apprécierez les vues spectaculaires sur la vallée de l'Ohio Creek. Photographiez les fleurs sauvages et la faune, pêche à la mouche, rafting, vélo de montagne, amenez votre cheval et explorez les sentiers BLM à seulement un quart de mile de distance, 3 paddocks de 1 acre avec beaucoup d'herbe à brouter, ou les chasseurs peuvent remorquer vos chevaux juste en bas de la route vers l'Ohio Creek Pass et préparez-vous à la chasse au wapiti. La cabine d'origine des mineurs a été construite en 1851, rénovée en 2010 et agrandie en 2014. Il y a 2 espaces de vie, 3 chambres et une chambre avec lits superposés dans le loft pouvant accueillir 6, 4. 5 salles de bains, un coin repas de style dogtrot, un foyer extérieur de cabane de cuisinier et un porche entier pour regarder le coucher de soleil sur les montagnes. Nous sommes à moins d'un demi-mile de la propriété BLM où vous pouvez explorer à pied, à cheval, en 4 roues ou partir à la chasse au cerf élan ou mulet! Faites du patin à glace, assistez à une partie de hockey au centre de glace ou visitez le Gunnison Community Centre et allez nager ou faire de l'escalade toute l'année! Vous ne manquerez de rien à faire ou à voir!

Just like coming home!

This is our third or fourth stay. We just keep coming back. It’s so quiet. So many different outside areas to enjoy the scenery, weather, horses, and peacefulness. The accommodations and kitchens are stocked with useful and functional items. Can’t ask for more.

Wow, what a great property to have a family gathering. Property has all the amenities a family gathering needs and a great place for everyone to roam with spectacular views of the Anthracites Range and Carbon Peak.

CAVU Family and Gunnison Balloon Rally

Second time we have stayed, and it won't be the last!!! Balloon crew and pilot (4 couples) for the annual Gunnison Balloon Rally. Amazing property, wonderfully maintained. View, accommodations, everything is perfectly arranged. This is our "go to" location for the Gunnison Valley. Cannot wait to be back again. Family Time

We love this property and it's our second time staying here! Easy communication with Stan & Pam and Elizabeth is easy to reach for any questions. Making memories here with our adult kids was fantastic. Gunnison Valley and surrounding areas have wonderful outdoor options. Wiley Spur Ranch never disappoints! Fantastic Stay

I host an annual fly fishing trip for a group of several friends and this year we stayed at the Hegener's wonderful home in Gunnison. Their magnificent home and its gorgeous view were exceed only by the Hegener's hospitality. Highly recommended without reservation.

Gorgeous property and views

We have stayed here twice and are planning to return next summer. It is the perfect set up for our family and the owners are wonderful to work with. Their house manager Elizabeth is the sweetest and makes sure we have everything we need to make the most out of our stay. The home is incredible!! Our family has loved every min of our stay and can’t wait to go back.

A perfect holiday experience

A great location and perfect vacation home that creates a very peaceful and relaxing experience. Plenty of space while still retaining a cozy and rustic feel. We were blessed with Christmas snow that finalized the postcard perfect views. Thank you!

Awesome Property!

This was our second stay at this awesome property. The property and residence are amazing. Great kitchen utensils, pans, cutlery, crock pot to the comfy bed and shower after a long day in the woods. Stan (owner) and Liz (property manager) are great to work with and super friendly. If you're looking for a comfortable house with a great location this is it!

Beautiful House

We love staying at this house! We stayed here 2 years ago and just had to come back. The location is great and it's so pretty here. We ride the ATV trails around here every year. We rode around Crested Butte, Taylor Park and Pitkin. This house has everything you could possibly need. We had 9 people staying there this summer with plenty of space to spread out. I recommend it to everybody, whether you are riding the ATV trails or just want to relax.

Spectacular property for family holiday in Gunnison/Crested Butte.

We visited with my elderly parents and grown children for a week of wedding events. The ranch far exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The old cabin (completely and authentically renovated) connects to the new modern house by a large and bright breezeway that captures the 360 degree views. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need! The events barn was a bonus to the property and we rented that for the rehearsal dinner. Definitely planning to stay here again. Thanks Stan, Pam, and Elizabeth!

A piece of paradise....

We loved our time at the ranch, it is a truely unique property. Everything is as described in previous reviews...perfect. Elizabeth, the lovely local manager, mentioned that the wi-fi had been updated and they did it perfectly. We always had a strong signal. Another plus was the wonderful heated garage that we had access to. The kitchen is beautiful and well furnished, the pictures don't do it justice.

Perfect Property For A Family Wedding

The grooms family stayed at this property and it was perfect. The wedding was not held at the property but the location, accommodations and cleanliness was outstanding. It is close enough to town for the events but so peaceful out on the property. Our group had one family with little ones so the remodeled cabin was ideal with a kitchen area, laundry and a bit more space. The two bedrooms in the new house are super comfortable and fun. The bunk room was the biggest hit! Everyone loved the space, the bathroom design and we often had our morning coffee up there planning the day. This is a super place and you will not be disappointed.

Simply Amazing!

Wow! We were in Gunnison for my daughters wedding, so we had family and friends in town. We were awed by the thoughtfulness and detail that went into the ranch. Plenty of gathering space and the views are stunning. Special thanks to the caretakers Elizabeth and Keith who are so accommodating. Elizabeth followed up with us through the week which made us feel at home. I think that there will be a return visit in our future!

In 7 years of leasing a property for vacation, this was THE BEST!

The property manager, sweet Elizabeth, was a dream! She met us and showed us around the property and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. The place was amazing! The older cabin was perfectly decorated in period pieces, yet all the comforts of home. The newer part of the cabin was so very well built and attention to detail was amazing. JOB well done. Just a hop, skip, and a jump west of the cabin we were on BLM land riding trails on our ranger all day. It was fantastic. THANK YOU THANK YOU The Swank family

Peace & Tranquility

Second time we've stayed at this property. Very close to town and grocery, gas, etc. but it feels out in the country. Very quiet and peaceful. This year we got to watch the hay gathering process for two days and it was awesome. There are so many places outside to enjoy and each offers sun, shade, view, bench swing, etc. The best part are the colors in the morning - blue sky, white clouds, golden acreage cut by a wood fence and horses. No technology beyond a camera is needed. See you next August.

Outstanding

I was looking for a private place and this property came up. I can not express how amazing this property is. It is huge and I could easily see group gatherings like family reunions, weddings etc. being a joy in this historic and unique space. The old Minor's Cabin connected to a dream huge house and the surrounding property were beautiful. There is a DREAM kitchen and although we did not use it a gorgeous "banquet" type facility for events. Stan, Pam and Elizabeth were friendly and helpful during the entire stay. If I could give this 6 stars I would but 5 is the limit. THANK YOU!

LOVE <3

This home I will recommend as my favorite of all cabins we have stayed at in Colorado. I loved the modern amenities of the new cabin side, but the old cabin was such a gift. It was like a museum with a treat around every corner. We were greeted and showed around the beautiful home. The garage fit my husbands big truck which was perfect, no running through the snow to deice your car. The beds are comfortable and you will feel at home here. The bunk room was great for the kids and they loved the snow play. The décor in the old cabin is a step back in time with modern amentities. It got down to -24 and we were cozy and warm as we watched the snow falling. This place would be beautiful any season. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. The Allens

We first found Crested Butte and Gunnison almost 35 years ago and brought our kids here to learn to ski. After several years absence we returned to the area and experienced the four seasons and decided we needed a place for our kids to come with their kids to enjoy the great outdoors!

A 40 acre horse property with 360 views of the mountains and just 7 minutes from town and 20 minutes from Crested Butte. Year around activities and prefect temperatures!
