Annisquam Bridge House-une unité rénovée au deuxième étage au-dessus de Lobster Cove, une escapade parfaite pour un couple. Il peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. Ne convient pas aux jeunes enfants. Vues sur l'eau, couchers de soleil incroyables! L'appartement dispose d'un espace de vie ouvert récemment rénové avec 2 chambres avec lits queen. La cuisine, le salon et la salle à manger donnent tous sur la magnifique crique de homard et la passerelle Annisquam. Petite terrasse avec grill. À quelques minutes à pied du village d'Annisquam. Petite terrasse pour se détendre / barbecue. Nagez / faites du kayak devant votre porte, marchez jusqu'à la plage du phare, faites du kayak jusqu'à la plage de Wingaersheek.
Apportez votre bateau, feuillets disponibles à distance de marche. Location en juillet et août limitée à un minimum de 5 jours. Réservez vos vacances maintenant et économisez. My friend and I chose this house because of the views and location, and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed the walk across the bridge, especially during sunset to enjoy the water views. The bridge was even closer than I expected which was a nice surprise! The drive into Gloucester was about ten mins but felt like less - it was an easy straight shot to shopping and dining. The house was clean and comfortable. Check in and out was super easy - only talked to Shelley during those times to notify her when we arrived and left - she's very nice! I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a place to stay North of Boston.

Perfect East Coast Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Annisquam Bridge House. There is a beautiful view of Lobster Cove. It’s a quick walk to the bridge that overlooks the water. The place was very clean and had more space than we thought. The king size bed was very comfortable. There’s a nice beach within walking distance with amazing sunsets. The location is great. Everything we did was just a short drive away. Shelly was an amazing host. If we had questions she was very quick to text back.

Fabulous welcoming location.

A welcoming home for a great vacation with beautiful view over Annisquam River Bridge. This Western location is close to downtown Gloucester, Magnolia and Rockport for a lot to see and visit. You have such a lovely home and you're such a wonderful host!

We loved being located right next to the Annisquam footbridge, which we walked across to easily reach lovely, uncrowded Lighthouse Beach on the other side of the village within 10 minutes.Staying at Annisquam Bridge House was nice because it's roomy, and being on the second floor, we could leave windows, shades, and the balcony doors open for optimal light and fresh air, while still having privacy.The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms were well-equipped with anything we might need, and the furniture was very comfortable.Overall, everything was thoughtful and excellent, and we would stay here again.(The only hard thing was hauling our suitcases up the stairs to the apartment, because we are both in our 70s. Younger, more physically-fit guests would have no problem).

Perfect cozy haven

We spent 3 nights here. The apt is small but perfectly apportioned. The bed and bedding were so very comfortable (always a fear when renting). The location is so close to the water and the charming bridge & lobster cove. Shelley has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. Extra blankets, seating on the patio, local information. It’s perfect and we hope to return.

First time in the North East and couldn't have loved it more.

We had a great location to all of Cape Ann, and not a long drive to Logan International Airport. The Lighthouse Beach although a long trek even driving part way was worth it. We went whale watching which was wonderful. We were here a week and in no way did everything we wanted to do, but it was a fantastic time. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the review, we hope you visit again.. Just to clarify to other potential guests, the beach is a 12-15 minute walk or .4 miles to the entrance and another .2 miles through the pasture to the beach. There is also now reserved parking available at all Gloucester beaches through the city of Gloucrster website. Reservations can be made up to 10 days in advance. I send the booking link with all inquiries.

Incredible views, Cozy, Clean and Comfy

Amazing property and host! I have stayed at several VRBO properties and this was by far the best! Property owner answered all of my questions very promptly and made sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful views of water! Short pretty ride to Salem and Gloucester is a great spot to explore also! Rent this property, you won’t regret it! Thank you for having us!

The perfect location and perfect place for us!

The view was even better than I anticipated, We loved being able to see the boats come and go and to see the walking bridge across the river less than a minute from our door. and see the kids jumping off of it and enjoying themselves. The 2 bedroom place was great. Comfortable. Spacious. Shelly (our host) was wonderful. Overall a fabulous experience.

A little piece of heaven

I am partial to Cape Ann, having visited there since childhood, but our recent stay in Gloucester, with access to Annisquam, showed me yet another (wonderful) neighborhood, with easy access to the water and a truly local feel. The apartment is clean, efficient, tastefully decorated, and extremely well appointed. It was also comfortable, in the sense that hanging in the living room watch the Olympics was very pleasant. The proximity to the road was not an issue, though pulling out of the parking spot required extra vigilance, at times. The location is ideal: so very close to Downtown Gloucester and Rockport, walking distance to Lanesville, and across the lovely bridge from Annisquam. Our son jumped from the bridge several times, and we chatted with locals on the public boat launch. The beach pass to Squam Rock was a bonus: I did not know this jewel of a beach before, and it is lovely! Would absolutely return should I vacation on Cape Ann in the future.

Charming river side cottage in peaceful Annisquam village

We loved this beautiful cottage that overlooks the Annisquam River and footbridge over to the village of Annisquam. It is quintessential New England charm. All the amenities are spot on and the owners have ensured no detail is overlooked. Beachy/seaside vibe, the king bed is to die for, it's huge, with a soft down-like mattress pad that feels like you're floating in the clouds. Every room has AC/Heat for ultimate comfort and lots of windows for beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the river. The access to the unit is on the second floor and might be a bit steep for individuals with hip/knee issues. We walked across the wooden footbridge to Lighthouse Beach which was awesome, and also walked over to the Talise Restaurant for dinner which was equally awesome. No other food service available but a small store is very close within driving distance. We liked the location for its semi-rural, peaceful setting. The people we encountered on walks were very friendly. The landscape and scenery are postcard picturesque. The bedroom side of the unit faces a busy road that is only noticeable when sleeping but the owners very kindly provide a white-noise machine to help abate the traffic noise. With one small bathroom we were very comfortable but it would be a challenge with another couple! The owners were great and their communication made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Annisquam foot bridge provides ample opportunity to explore the neighborhood around the Annisquam River. Views are scenic and peaceful with plenty of great photo opportunities. Easy access to Gloucester and Rockport. Very comfortable tastefully decorated accommodations. We’ll be back again!!

We had a lovely time. Shelley was very responsive and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Having sound machines was a nice touch, we used them both.

What a Charming Place!

What a charming place! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice! Loved the eclectic beach theme! The space made our stay in the Gloucester area even more memorable! The beds were super comfy and having coffee pods there for the morning was fantastic! The stools/table out on the deck overlooking the water was an added bonus! (I snapped a pic to duplicate on our deck at home!) After visiting the Crows Nest, a local told us about a hidden gem of a restaurant called the Causeway-OMG! The grilled octopus and crab sandwich is a MUST! And the Gloucester House had THE best fried clams we have ever tasted!! We are already making plans on returning! Thank you to the great hosts who have a beautiful house and for the wonderful memories we made in Gloucester! Looking forward to visiting again!!

We enjoyed this property with its view of the river and the quiet of Annisquam. One morning we watched hundreds of cormorants and some egrets, leave Lobster Cove for the incoming tide with its silver fish. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Amazing water views, kayaking, great dining

This 2BR apartment with incredible water views is perfect for a summer get away. We brought our own kayak, and enjoyed kayaking to Wingaersheek Beach and along the Annisquam River. We tried four fantastic restaurants for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed walking on the Lobster Cove pedestrian bridge, swimming off the dock, walking to Lighthouse Beach, and enjoying the overall area. Shelley has set up the apartment beautifully - super comfortable, cute, and with great detail. It was extremely clean. We had mid 70's temperatures so it was perfect for fresh air from screened windows although there is AC provided (which we didn't need). I highly recommend this place and hope to return next year.

Roomy and Restful

We had a great stay in the apartment- we love the area and return every summer. This time it was quite rainy and cool, so we were glad we were so comfy and had ample space. The apartment is bigger than the pictures show, very well equipped and Lobster Cove is a very scenic and friendly area.

Beautiful apartment on Lobster Cove!

We had a wonderful stay in Gloucester! This apartment is just as pictured; beautifully decorated, comfortable & conveniently located for day excursions to scenic parks, beaches, restaurants & shopping👍 The owners are the best! Communication regarding booking and check-in was excellent! We especially appreciated their suggestions and availability when we had questions. Our favorite scenic spots were Lighthouse Beach, Halibut Point State Park and Plum Island, keeping in mind this entire area is gorgeous!!! Both Gloucester and Rockport are fun for shopping, eating and taking boat tours - We will be back to this warm & friendly location...thanks!!! :)

Clean & Comfortable

Nice view & Nice friendly area. Owner is caring & easy to work with. Best breakfast was at Mom's Kitchen. Willows Rest has good lunch items and prepared food that you can take and heat up. We had a great time at the Crows Nest - good conversation with the locals. We also tried Causeway Restaurant for dinner - excellent!
