We enjoyed our time at Lions Paw. The home offers plenty of room for a group to gather together & enjoy each otherâs company!! We gathered to make & eat meals, played games & lounged watching a movie. The boys liked having their own space on lower level in the bunk room-super cool!! They also claimed the outdoor shower & Exclusively showered outdoors. It has a good location, a short walk to the beach. WE enjoyed the beautiful beach & the close St Joe Penisula state park.
The house was nive, the location good. I wo I ld not say it sleeps 10 comfortably, more like 7. There were tons of sets of dishware in the kitchen but they had large chips in half the pieces.
We enjoyed our stay at Lions Paw. Everything was clean upon our arrival. Our only complaint would be that the kids bunk room was a bit too high and kind of dangerous for our young kids. There was plenty of space in the other rooms for them though.
We enjoyed the views of the ocean and the calm breeze on the decks. The hammock or screened in deck was great for some time in the shade.
Location was nice-very short walk to beach.
This house is amazing! Very comfortable, clean and spacious. The outside areas are just as wonderful - especially the hammock.
I highly recommend this property!
The entire property is exactly as advertised. To be so close to the beach without paying extreme prices, Lions Paw is ultimate value for Cape San Blas. Planning my next trip already. Don't miss out on this great rental!!
Full House FFL. Atlanta, Ga.
This was our second year in a row of staying at Lions Paw vacation rental in Cape San Blas, Florida. We plan to be back next year again! The house is three stories high, and you can see the beach and ocean from the second and third floors. The beach is about 100 yards away from the house, a short walk. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, with almost no one else on the beach. We felt like we had the beach all to ourselves, with no one on either side of us for 100 yards. Wonderful weather allowed us to recharge our batteries, just like we had hoped. The house is really well made, and not your typical flimsy beach-house-for-rent. Clean, well-stocked, with tv and wifi. Thank you for the memories!
This was our first time to the Cape, and it won't be our last. This house was perfect for our family of six--the boys enjoyed the first-floor room, and mom and dad enjoyed being two floors up! The view of the beach is lovely from the decks, and the proximity to the beach access is awesome. Coneheads is right within walking distance, but we mostly cooked at home. The kitchen is well stocked, very open, and very comfortable to cook in. We hit the beach every day all day and spent the evenings with cocktails and Family Feud. Very relaxing. My only complaint is the that we couldn't stay longer.
Home well decorated and stocked with everything you might need. Loved the multiple decks with rockers to sit and enjoy the views. Sum it up best by saying would not hesitate to rent again.
We had multiple families staying in Lion's Paw. It worked out great. An abundance of kitchen ware, great views, extremely easy beach access and Cape San Blas is fabulous. The House has a very efficient and fun lay out. It's not for anyone who has trouble with stairs, but it yielded great views from the mutiple decks. The only problem we encountered was that the WIFI went out, but the management had the provider out the next day and fixed the problem.
Make sure you go to Indian Pass Raw Bar. Visit the state park to the North, probably has the most beautiful beaches in Florida.
I could not recommend Lion's Paw any more highly.
What a wonderful stay we had during my winter break! Loved the house, so full of color and light. The walks on the beach early morning and late evenings were spectacular. The white sand and abundance of shells thrilled my soul. When the weather was cloudy the shops and seafood in nearby Apalachicola were a welcome change. We will make plans to return to this oasis on the Gulf.
This place is super cute! As soon as I arrived I was excited to see how clean and homey the place felt. The upstairs main bedroom was romantic and comfy and hard to leave most of the time. Although once we started stirring and could feel the breeze of the ocean we immediately set out on beach walks. Obviously for this time of year it's too chilly to lay out or go in the water but I love cold beaches so this wasn't an issue for me. There's also a really convenient outside shower that we could use to wash the sand off of our feet so we wouldn't track it upstairs. The place around it is super quiet so you feel like you have your own private beach. And the seafood places around here were really good. Overall I really loved our stay here and would love to live in a place like this if I could. I highly recommend it!
Normally I don't do reviews of places that I stay, but with Lions Paw I felt compelled to. I fell in love with Port St Joe and Cape San Blas several years ago when I stopped for a few days on my sail boat. I ended up keeping the boat there for over a year. After leaving my family and I missed the area so much we decided to start renting occasionally. Most were the sandy floored beach cottages that are typical rentals. Last Thanksgiving we wanted something larger so we could have the whole family together. We found "Lions Paw". We weren't disappointed ! Not only was it spacious and well appointed, it was coviniently located near the state park and within walking distance to a great beach bar and grill. All this with beautiful sunset views of the beach. We definitely plan on coming back!
