It was exactly as described and just what we were looking for. Small cute place right next to downtown. It was nice having a kitchen as well for plating and reheating leftovers etc. Iâd definitely stay here again on a visit to Stonington.
Very nice little apartment with a full kitchen and washer/dryer available. Easy parking and a block from all the town has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.
My friend and I spent 4 lovely days in town enjoying the gorgeous scenery, friendly people, and main street/harbor area. Be sure to visit Nervous Nellies, quite unique & fun. Good Tides, Captain Walker is very knowledgeable & super nice. He's flexible for scheduling, text him. Michael & Wanda at Stonington Sea Kayaks, also super friendly & know their way around the islands. Will come back to hike & relax again. Thanks for a truly refreshing break.
What a totally and unexpectedly fabulous apartment we had in Stonington. The pictures donât do justice to this cute newly remodeled second story large place.VERY QUIET at night. Used the washer and dryer located right by our front door. Loved the store right underneath us and bought lots of goodies. Also, town is charming and takes about one minute to walk down to where all the great restaurants and stores are. Very picturesque harbor. If you want a small town ultimate Maine experience, itâs worth the drive!
We had a great time in Stonington. Our apartment was wonderful. It was just a short block from the downtown and port area. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
This is a great little stuidio apartment for two people to stay. It has all the amenities you need and is cozy and warm. It is within walking distance of everything in Stonington. Host is great as well.
The property was clean and convenient. It was close enough to walk to everything in town. It was clean and had enough things to cook when we did not eat out.
The little gentleman shown in the photo above (no not me, the crow) spontaneously flew down out of the blue and landed on my shoulder while I was loitering at Colwell's Ramp in town one summer day in 2016. Not sure why he picked me, but we were thick as thieves for a couple of days. Must have been someone's pet. He gained quite a reputation in town, even trying to walk through the front door of Fisherman's Friend restaurant (now the Stone Cutter Cafe) as people were coming and going. Then he drifted away. He is sorely missed. When things slow down a bit, I intend to find a replacement. Guess I'm sort of like Nathan Hubbard, the village idiot in Bert & I, the fella who "spent his days collecting gulls eggs along the shore", and hatching em...
We purchased this location as a staging site for our island, Spruce Island, located 3.5 miles out of Stonington Harbor. We renovated the upstairs to two studio apartments for our use and for rental. The downstairs hosts Old Quarry Ocean Adventures downtown store. The property came with a large parking lot which is very useful in the busy summer season. You will see our amphibious Sealegs boat operating from this lot. Ask us about taking a ride on the amphibian to explore the offshore islands. See our listing for Spruce Island on Home Away, property number 350509.
Right in downtown. Walk to everything. Comfortable, newly renovated. Fully equipped kitchen. Wifi and cell reception which is not common in downtown area.
