À propos de cet hébergement

Deux d'entre vous pouvez rester ici sur un seul niveau de votre porte de voiture à l'étage principal ou le pont. Le premier étage dispose d'une chambre double et salle de bain complète. Montez l'escalier à la mezzanine et deux autres peuvent vous rejoindre avec lits jumeaux et un demi-bain.

La cuisine et salle à manger est entièrement équipée, le salon est confortable et son tout lumineux et nouvelle. Chaises berçantes, la paix et la tranquillité, et une vue imprenable vous invitent.

Si vous apportez votre kayak et veulent avoir accès à l'eau, nous avons fourni un sentier à la plage de poche sur l'anse ci-dessous. Ou, braver le froid et prendre un bain dans notre eau vivifiante.

Nous avons construit cette maison avec tout le confort moderne afin que nos amis peuvent venir profiter du calme de Webb Cove.

Lovely secluded cottage

Stargazing and views were amazing. The scent of the balsam firs growing around the cottage were delightful.

Peace and quiet

The place was really amazingly quiet. Island is gorgeous with so many things to do. nice restaurants in town. We plan to return someday soon. The cottage was spotless and well equipped, the owners didn't miss a single thing!

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our stay very much. A beautiful location and we really enjoyed being able to access the shore and sit on the rocks and watch the water. Very comfortable cottage and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Our dog loved it too!

Beautiful, peaceful location.

We loved the cottage and were very comfortable there. Took David’s suggestion and bought live lobsters down the road to cook ourselves. Stonington is so Maine, we enjoyed all the waterfront action from the deck at 27 Fathoms-again David’s suggestion. Highly recommend.

Little Cottage in the Woods

The location of the place is amazing. The views are phenomenal and we truly experienced what Maine is all about. The host is extremely friendly and they have a lovely golden retriever. If you want to stay at a place that is peaceful and quiet, this is definitely the right place.

Comfy cottage, beautiful property

Pine Hill Cottage was the base for our family group’s (4 adults 60+) delightful stay on Deer Isle. The cottage was well equipped, the beds comfy, and the shower had ample water pressure. The view from the front deck surpassed the photos! We also enjoyed the property’s trails, especially at sunset. David and Carolyn were responsive hosts and we loved the occasional visits from Daisy, the cheeky golden retriever! We hope to return to this enchanting part of Maine.

Comfy Cosy Cabin

Secluded with a small private cove yet very close to great lobster and fantastic hiking. Beat our expectations on every level! Just a bit more than an hour to Acadia NP loop. Will definitely bring kayaks next time.

Wonderful property and hosts

Perfect remote location for a Maine camp getaway with water access and views overlooking islands to the South. The property a variety of settings to enjoy - porch, lawn, woodland trail, cove, rocky beach, the cottage was well equipped for all activities. David and Carolyn made themselves available should we need anything, but everything was perfect. Hope to return next year!

Deer Isle Vacation time

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We never wanted to leave the property. The deck provided a perfect view of the Maine coast and lovely off shore breezes. The location is close to Stonington. Cottage is equipped with everything from a coffee grinder to pie making items. Our hosts Caroline and David were the best. Willing to share some flour on the spot that I had forgotten for rolling out pie dough for blueberry pie. We used the time away from TV to read and watch the stars. Highly recommend.

Cabin in the woods

Great property secluded with an ocean view and a one minute walk to the rocky ocean beach. Owners, David & Carolyn live right down the road and are very nice and responsive. Our dog got along smashingly with theirs. Be sure to find this property for the first time in the day light as it is down a gravel/stone road. You will really feel like you have gotten away from all the hustle and bustle yet it is a short drive to Stonington Harbor.

Wonderful to return to this idyllic location

This was our 3rd visit to Carolyn and David's cottage. As soon as we turned onto W. Spruce Harbor Rd we could feel life's stresses melt away. This visit was as wonderful as our previous stays, thanks to Carolyn and David's hospitality. We wanted for nothing - except maybe some sunshine but even with the rainy, foggy days we made the most of it - visiting places we were saving for rainy days that hadn't come in the past. On the one day of sun we accomplished a long held bucket list item - kayaking to Isle au Haut! The islands in between are magical - like we imagine the Caribbean to be like. Thank you Carolyn, David, and sweet Daisy for having us back. We look forward to returning next year!

Paradise Getaway

This place is everything and more. For starters, the house is fully stocked with everything you need (kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, etc), the beds are comfortable, the place was spotless, and the hosts are there if you need them but you rarely see them and they are SO friendly. The location is incredible, it’s near this very sweet town called Stonington, which has amazing lobster, beautiful harbour views, and the perfect place to walk around and see what Maine is about. It’s a short drive to Acadia National Park, and many other trails that have beautiful ocean views. We recommend Sand Beach, which is only 7 minutes away and was our favourite spot to go (especially to catch a sunset). The rental property is also on the ocean which was so neat to spend our time having a drink on the rocks by the water and watching the tide come and go. Grocery store is nearby and easy. This island has everything you need, and you can either go out and be busy doing fun Maine things or relax at home by the ocean. Highly highly recommend. This was VERY worth our 15 hour drive to get to it. We are so thankful we chose this place to stay. Oh and we love their sweet sweet dog Daisy!!

Couldn't be nicer!

The Friedells, who live on the property, are friendly, gracious & are VERY attentive, yet without a hint of intrusiveness. (I would have enjoyed chatting more than we did!) It's a quiet, private, lovely setting. Easy access to water for kayaking. The cottage is well-supplied, with every need anticipated, and the fixtures & appliances are all modern & in good working order. Really comfortable. I'm sure if one DID need something special they would do their best to help out. They were very kind at checkout~I wasn't feeling well~and allowed me some extra time to get packed out, without making me feel rushed. I can't wait to return. Thank You!

Lovely cottage on a superior property with access to magnificent shoreline. It doesnt get any better than this. David & Caroline couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. A perfect stay, and we cant wait to return!

We first came to this land in 1976 when we built a small Summer cabin. As our family grew so did the house. Now we are retired and live here all year round. Our place is not very far from the cottage, so we are nearby if you need us. Most days you will find Carolyn working in her garden, and David is usually building something

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Deer Isle is a fishing community most of the year. Our fishermen and women land more lobsters here than anywhere in the State. Lots, of boats, sometimes lots of sun and blue water, sometimes our famous fog. Always plenty of lobsters to eat, boats to see, seagulls to watch and woods to be explored. For over a hundred years, this land has been host to friendly people who love this place. It smells like the woods and the sea, and it sounds just like what it is. A quiet country road.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Easy access is a great benefit at Pinehill Cottage. Your car can pull right near the house and you can enter the first floor or the deck with not one step. The queen bedroom and full bath are all on the first floor. It is an excellent choice for someone that doesn`t want to climb stairs.

The cottage driveway is a mile in from the Oceanville road and our guests all seem to appreciate the lack of traffic.
