My cousin and I enjoyed our stay in this nicely restored old house. We enjoyed the large dining room for our breakfasts, as well as the lovely restored period kitchen, with lots of details (like good quality coffee for the coffee maker) attended to by the owner. The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious (for a 1920s house) and the beds were very comfortable; the bathroom, while small as is typical for the period, was very well updated. We didn't use it, but there's a lovely back yard with a play area for children. There's also a front porch.
The house is centrally located for shopping and dining trips to Royal Oak and Berkley. There's a great Einstein Bagels for those who don't want to make breakfast that's less than a five minute walk away.
The owner was great, very good at communicating with us and checking in on us during our stay.
This place was very charming. The owner had good communication, very accommodating . It's on 11 mile, but the speed is monitored, we seen cops giving ticket at 3 o'clock in the morning. love it and will do it again
