Nice Family Getaway

The rental was nicely furnished and well stocked (utensils and cookware, as well as towels, tissues, etc.). The bathrooms are updated and clean. The mattresses were soft enough to be comfortable. The chalet offers privacy, yet it's near shopping, restaurants, and scenic sites. I wish we'd had a few more days to spend there!

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

Beautiful location in a quiet area just outside of Glen. Very cosy cabin well equipped. Near to all amenities. Lovely and relaxing environment. Would highly recommend this property and location.

Very comfortable stay!

My family and I found the chalet to be comfortable and very accommodating. There was plenty of room and plenty of beds to sleep in. Despite the warm temps outside, the bedrooms remained cool for great nights sleeping. The upstairs was nicely updated and clean. We had everything we could need for cooking and eating and the large table was great!

Beautiful home in prime location

The home was perfect for our small family oriented group. The older kids loved the loft and the adults loved the beautiful large windows looking out at the trees. The location was fantastic nestled on the southeast side of the Whites near Jackson, Bartlett and Conway. Right around the corner from Storyland.

Great location for skiing!

Our family stayed for Feb ski week and had a great time! Location is perfect for all the mountains. The home has a great bed configuration and large open area for dining and lounging. The owner Jerry was excellent to work with and answered all questions. We even tried out the club and spent a day there when it was too cold to ski. Definitely would recommend this home and hope to stay there again next winter!

Perfect week-end at a lovely place !

Well maintained property just of the main road and noise. We were there to hike the White Mountains that are at a foot step. Well located in the mountain and feeling "in the nature". Bedrooms are tight but used to what they are for: sleep ! The open living area is spacious and perfect for a group like us. The square table is perfect to engage discussion with anybody around the table. We really enjoy our stay and would rent it again anytime. It is a sure bet ! Thanks again to the owner to rent their home with us for the week-end !

Perfect rental for our NH weekend!

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 daughters and our friends and their 2 daughters over Columbus Day weekend. This rental was perfect for our families and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area! The house was in a great location and very close to attractions and restaurants, but was secluded and quiet at the same time. Our girls loved the bunk beds and were especially excited about the upstairs play loft. The living area upstairs was open and spacious and we loved having the outdoor fire pit at night. The wraparound deck was huge and both bathrooms were newly renovated. Shep was very responsive and provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Already planning our next stay!

More than enough room for the 8 of us. Great bed configuration for 3 families. We ranged in age from 8 years old to 74. Storyland was our main destination on this trip and was a 2 minute drive, which was absolutely perfect for going there after 3pm one day and getting another whole day free (which does not need to be consecutive, just found this out so thought I'd share)! Plenty of amazing restaurants close by, but also a fully stocked kitchen and grill on the deck that allowed us to eat in after a long day at storyland. The owners where extremely accomodating and a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to go back this winter and check out the slopes and all that the lodge has to offer (indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and more). There was something for everyone and this visit was the first of a new family tradition!

Ideal home for Storyland visit with kids!

This home is perfect for a family getaway. The three bedrooms are all on the first floor with the full bath and the upstairs has a generous Living Room (with fireplace) open to the Dining Room and Kitchen. The front deck is great for enjoying a book or a drink in the evening after putting the kids to bed! I stayed with my family of 4 plus our parents (in their '80s) who were thrilled to have a nice clean home to stay in rather than a loud hotel. I was thrilled to be just 5 minutes from Storyland and close to many restaurants as well. Worth noting that the full bath is updated with a nice very clean shower stall and new plumbing fixtures-tough to tell from the photo but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the new floor tile and clean shower. The whole house is kept very clean and everything you need for your stay is there. Jerry is a fantastic host who provided many recommendations, responded quickly to questions, and accomodated all of our requests.

Beautiful Chalet with lots of privacy!

What a lovely home tucked away in the woods with plenty of privacy! Everything was very clean and spacious. Jerry, the owner, provided detailed instructions. The family room was very cozy with the gas fireplace lit, and the weather was warm enough to sit out on the deck. For the toddler in our group, there was a high chair available and a gate that we used to block off the stairway. Everything you need is here to make your stay comfortable. Jerry was very accommodating with check-in and check-out times for us; however, I think the stated check-out time is 10, which would have been a little rough getting out at that time. The only slight problem I saw was that a few deck boards need some attention. Otherwise, this is a very well kept home, and I would not hesitate to come back in the future!!! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Chalet! Clean&Comfortable! Loved it!

This is a delightful Chalet! Everything was clean and comfortable ( the Queen was a little springy, but that's being super picky). Great spaces to hang out all together or separate a bit! The kids loved the play loft and the little tv nook on the first floor if they wanted to escape the grown ups for games or moview. The living/dining room were open and delightful with the huge windows. Both bathrooms were newly redone and gorgeous. Fantastic location (we skied at Attitash 10 min, Wildcat 15 min, Black 10 min, and Bretton Woods 30 min). The area has dozens of great eateries. Jerry, the owner, was extremely easy and friendly to communicate with and was very prompt with any questions. Kids didn't want to leave! Couldn't have asked for a better experience! They have done a wonderful job with the improvements and we enjoyed our time immensely! ps: the bunkroom could use a bit more lighting....no biggie at all, but when trying to read it was a little hard.

Spacious, Clean, and Great Overall Location

This is our Second time staying here. We stayed once in the summer and now in the winter. The House had some upgrades from the lasts time we were here in July. The House has a great set up for families with children. Big open family room with comfy couches, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Gas fireplace and a Big Dining room table that seats at least 8 comfortably. Cute kitchen with everything needed to whip up a home cooked meal and if the weather permits an outdoor Grill on the deck. This location is perfect for all seasons. In the Summer we took our 4yr old to Story Land which is about 3-4 minutes away and about 45 minutes from Santa's Village if you wanted to make the trip. In the winter it is in a ideal location if you wanted to take advantage of some outdoor activities (skiing, tubing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides or go up Mount Washington) it is about 15 minutes from North Conway center and the shopping outlets. as well as plenty of dining options with in 10 minutes The Owner Jerry worked with us from the time we booked and even answered a couple questions by email with quick responses while we were there. We absolutely would recommend this rental to any of our friends and families and plan on staying here whenever we plan a trip to NH

Fall Getaway

Great house. We toured area for a couple of days fall color was spectacular. Unfortunately my dad passed away while we were there, and we left early. Happy to report that I did get a refund for the remaining days. Bittersweet trip. But the house was everywhere promised and more.

Nice spacious chalet!

Very clean, nice new bathrooms, kitchen well supplied with all the basics and more, very comfy sofas, good wifi, nice private yard, cozy spaces, everything works well. Only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is the strong mildew odor in lower bedroom level (Mid October). Tough on those with allergies, my daughter slept upstairs on a sofa. Otherwise very nice place and I recommend it!

Overall very happy with our stay

The place was adorable, very cozy. Loved the common area and the deck. The decor was relaxing and had nice New Hampshire touches. Love the actual property and would stay here again. Nice central location close to everything yet far enough away to avoid North Conway traffic in day to day travels (unless you choose to drive that way in which case it’s super close). There were some issues with cleanliness as the oven still had a baking tray of onion rings inside, the grill was pretty dirty, and one of the beds had a wad of toilet tissue underneath it...I did leave a little note for the housekeeping crew. Communication with the owner was good.

Près de plusieurs attraits

Idéal pour famille avec de jeunes enfants car à moins de 10 minutes de parc d’attraction pour petits et montagne de ski Attitach avec jeux pour petits et jeunes enfants. À 30 min à peine du mont Wachington et de plusieurs sentiers de randonnées avec ruisseaux et chutes. Aussi près des Outlets et de divers restaurants. Chalet sur terrain boisé intime. Attention aux tiques! Ma fille en a eu deux sur elle après avoir été s’assoir sur le balcon à l’ombre à l’arrière. Odeur de moisis à l’étage inférieur, c’est tout de même un chalet! La mézanine est pour les jeunes enfant car le plafond est excessivement bas! Par contre, échelle haute et à pic pour monter. Les enfants ont aimé leur jeux video. Cuisine équipée et frigo contenait les sauces de base et des épices de bases et plus dans les armoires. Table très grande et pratique, avons beaucoup joué à leur jeu de société Settelers of kettan! Avons fait du BBQ et des feux à l’extErieur. Pratique pour les montrealais car pas trop long pour s’y rendre. Le quartier est particulier avec toutes des maisons de style allemand dans la montagne. Petit dépanneur en bas de la rue et épicerie à 5 minutes.

Nice cottage well located

It was clean however instructions for arrival and departure were not all clear. We had trouble finding how to turn on water and the location to bring trash at the end was not clear. Other than that the cottage was really nice with all amenities needed.
