Situé à 27 km au sud de Flagstaff à Munds Park, vous adorerez cette cabine unique. Adossé à un ruisseau saisonnier et bosting l'un des plus grands ponts arrière, votre famille adorera les belles vues et les grands pins. Cette cabine est une expérience que votre famille n'oubliera pas, elle comprend des comptoirs en argent dans la salle de bain et des écureuils cachés dans toute la maison. La cabine a été rénovée avec un nouveau revêtement de sol et de la peinture. À quelques pas du Bar & Grill ou du petit dépanneur. Il est original, mignon et apportera un sourire à votre visage. Really special cabin

This place is really special! It's well-loved and lived in by the owners with lots of special books and trinkets that we're sure are well-loved. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and blankets and bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. We especially loved the back yard and decks- and family of javelina we could safely see safely behind our fence! Location is really amazing. You can walk to the small Mund's Park town, drive quickly to Flagstaff and we even traveled to Verde Valley for the day! THANK YOU to the hosts for sharing this!

Great place to unwind

House is very comfortable and has a cabin up north vibe. Great deck in the pines but not too far out from stores.

Nice stay

We stayed just after a snow storm but had good access into the neighborhood. Blanket of snow in the backyard limited some activities but had fun playing in the snow with the kids. Overall a good trip

So amazing

The host were extremely accommodating for everything that we needed. They communicated with us very well and we loved finding all of the squirrels. We all felt like we were at home and it was very comforting. We would definitely stay here again!!

Son's Birthday retreat

We always vacation on my sons birthday and choose to stay at the Squirrels Nest. They have gradually updated the entire house and we really enjoy the location and property. SIT OUT ON BACK DECK AND RELAX!

Had a great time. Tim was so polite and we loved the fact he is a dog lover and said to just let the dog be a dog sitting by the fireplace looking out the window watching the snow was so peaceful would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back again thank you for the memories

Clean but cozy

House is very cozy/clean on the inside. Beds very comfortable, and love the kitchen table. Kids where trying to find all the squirrels lol. Outside deck needs to be cleaned really bad and maybe a little yard work. Front breezeway should be cleaned. Otherwise a very nice stay!!!! I would stay again!!!!

#1 spot for family vacation!!

I have never found a vrbo rental that felt more like home! The owner, Michelle, was absolutely wonderful! We stayed during a major snow fall which added a lot of stress but she treated us like family. She continuously checked in on us and even offered to send her husband to rescue us. The cabin has absolutely everything you could possibly need! Coffee, hot chocolate, gloves, hats, paper plates, solo cups..the list goes on and on! They truly thought of it all. The beds are so comfortable with super soft blankets. My kids are already asking to go again. I would recommend over and over!

Family Holiday Retreat 2022

With 3 adults, two kids and two dogs, this was the perfect size property for our family Christmas. And, Michelle was easy to communicate with and quick to respond, taking care of our every need! Once the ice and snow were cleared from the steps, the kids had a great time in the back yard with the sleds Michelle has at the property. The dogs got in some play time as well. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace to keep us toasty warm and lit up the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. And, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and our Christmas dinner. My favorite thing was the coffee bar! Michelle saw to every detail to serve the whole family. It was amazing! Great get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city, nestled in the pines in Munds Park.

Wonderful place for our family!

We absolutely loved staying here! We decided to rent a cabin on a whim to play in the snow with our kinds and I am so glad Michelle and Tim's place was avaliable. They were incredible hosts and their place was perfect for us! There was plenty of snow and just enough room for us to play in the backyard! Highly recommend staying here!

Squirrels Nest

Great get away for family and pets. Fenced in backyard two level deck in the tall pines. Fresh air and relaxation. Money well spent. 3rd year in a row at same place. Owner keeping property is great shape.. Always enjoy July in Munds.

Wonderful place to stay!

The cabin was very clean and exactly as advertised. The back porch was the perfect place to spend the morning and evening. All questions answers promptly and the owner was always available if needed. The guy who lives underneath also came out to talk to us and was extremely nice and gave suggestions for things to do. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only complaint we had is that it was VERY hot inside. Fans and window units were available but the bedrooms got very hot during the day and did not cool off well at night. One bedroom has a window unit that did a very good job cooling and we wished there was one in all 3 rooms. Other than that we loved it and would definitely stay again! I wish I could give 4 3/4 stars!

This place was awesome. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dogs. And I like that they didn’t have a minimum size/amount of dogs. We have 2 German shepherds and a husky. This will be my go to cabin from now on.! Thank you!

One of the owners lives in site, which was convenient to help with the furnace. There was dog poo and a pee pad on the back porch. This place could be so wonderful with a little more care. I did come to realize it was a good price since it was spring break.

I am a Realtor and my husband is retired. We bought the cabin and remodeled it. We love spending time at the cabin and we are happy to share it with others.

If you want to stay in a cabin and don't want the fancy granite and high end living and want a rustic, cute place that your family will talk about for years then you will love our cabin. We allow pets and kids love to stay at the home and count the squirrels.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The backyard deck is the best part of the home. It overlooks a seasonal creek and has a fire pit and plenty of seating. We are not right on top of neighbors like some of the homes in Munds. The large fenced yard is perfect for your pets. Sometimes you will see javalina or elk in the ravine behind the home.
