Cette nouvelle cabane en rondins est située dans l'intimité des bois avec une vue majestueuse sur la montagne, mais à seulement 10 minutes des commerces. Great secluded getaway

This a beautiful property. Secluded and quiet but close enough to town to visit shops, get groceries, go to restaurants daily. The downtown area of West Jefferson is fun, beautiful, and friendly. Highly recommend this property. We visited with our 3 adult children and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Would definitely visit again!

Wonderful Property!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, both inside and out. It offered plenty of space, stunning mountain views, and our dogs absolutely loved the yard. The location was perfect—convenient to both West Jefferson and Boone. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Beautiful cabin

This was a great place to stay! There were 8 of us and we were very comfortable. There is even a Christmas tree farm out the window that was snow dusted and beautiful. We plan to go back and would highly recommend it.

Loved our stay!!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. The cabin is in a great location to downtown West Jefferson (and even closer to the winery). The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. It’s very kid and pet friendly and everything was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

Relaxing and cozy

We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and cozy. Had everything we needed and more. We loved doing the puzzles and relaxing by the fire. Would recommend for sure and would come back and visit again!

Exceptional location and house

My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night celebration of our anniversary at this house. Our stay exceeded our expectations. The house was in an excellent location, well equipment, and clean. The surrounding area has a lot of fun activities.

Restful and relaxing cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin. Clean and cozy just like home away from home. We hope to return soon. The host was excellent also. I am a first time VRBO user and certainly plan on using VRBO next time as well.

Rustic Retreat

Beautiful cabin in the woods with wraparound porch to enjoy the mountain views. Convenient to West Jefferson, BRP and Boone. Owner was very attentive, cabin had all of the comforts of home. Highly recommend Rustic Retreat, will be staying here again on future visits.

Anniversary Weekend!

A quick weekend trip to West Jefferson. We stayed in this beautiful secluded cabin. Owners checked in with us to make sure we had everything that we needed. Very peaceful, quality family time.

Perfect getaway

We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of this cabin. The leather couch in the living room was like a big hug and I think everyone ended up napping on it at some point. Great communication, nice yard, great location and we have already made plans to visit again next year!

Exactly What We Wanted

This beautiful cabin was perfect for a short get-away for our family last fall. The kitchen was huge and well-equipped. We very much enjoyed the massive stone gas log fireplace each day. The neighborhood was lovely for taking walks and enjoying the views and the other gorgeous cabins. We spent some time in the quaint downtown area of West Jefferson--shopping, antiquing, and dining. We would love to return if we are able, and would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Great Cabin!

We just spent 4 nights at the Rustic Retreat. It was a get away trip for 5 women who have been friends since college (50 years now). We all loved the cabin and enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace each evening. The cabin is roomy and well equipped although we didn’t do any cooking. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops in West Jefferson and Blowing Rock and had a great walk at the Moses Cone area on the BR Parkway. We would love to go back to Rustic Retreat to explore more of the area.

Great location, great cabin!

We had so much fun exploring West Jefferson! The cabin was great although we did have a furry visitor (chipmunk) in the toilet one morning (think he came down the toilet vent overnight)! He unfortunately didn’t survive but was definitely surprising to see the whiskers! Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals! Loved the neighborhood too! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Mountain get away

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Love the deck that wraps around the house. Beautiful for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine. The only challenge we had was with the fireplace not working. The only did repair it but it took 3 days. Would 100% stay again and recommend to my family & friends

Relaxing, peaceful and secluded

My husband and I spent our 25th anniversary here for 4 nights and three days. It has a well stocked kitchen (sans salt, pepper, tin foil), very comfy king sized bed on main level and a cozy gas fireplace. Had a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi each night and loved the porch swing. Go to downtown West Jefferson and see the Ashe County Cheese Factory and store. Also, the Ashe County Frescoes were an interesting stop. The leaves were beautiful as were the mountains and rolling hills. Just what we needed.

Peaceful and well equipped

This property is exactly as described. Although the Mountain views are somewhat obstructed by trees, we actually found the setting more peaceful because of this. We were visiting to celebrate a graduation from App State, and had events occurring near West Jefferson at the App State Farm. For this reason, it was very convenient and an easy drive to events. We cooked most of our meals, and found the kitchen well equipped in terms of appliances and pots and pans. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and there were numerous blankets and quilts to make our leisure time even more cozy. The property manager was very responsive and even accommodated a special request. This was a lovely stay, and I definitely recommend this property for future guests!

My wife and I live I the Chapel Hill/Durham area with our three young children. We both grew up visiting the NC Mountains for vacations and fell in love with idea of having a place of our own! The West Jefferson area provides rest and relaxation along with many places to visit. The quaint downtown offers all you could imagine in a small town; including a cheese factory. The Boone/Blowing Rock area is just a short 30 minute drive. Our family enjoys visits to Mast General Store, mining for gems, picnicking on the Parkway and tubing the New River. The river also provides kayaking, fishing and rafting.
