The living area was very impressive! The kitchen was well stocked and easy to find anything we needed. The vaulted ceiling in the living room was so beautiful and gave the feeling of airiness & space. The master br was lovely. The deck with mums & pumpkins was very lovely. We wish we could have used the screened in porch, but didn't have the opportunity.
The communications with the owner were excellent throughout especially for our arrival - especially as there was a power outage in the vicinity. When we arrived all was fixed and the cottage was beautifully inviting. The space was exactly as in the photos, clean, lovely and has everything you would need. And the fact that we could bring our dog was a wonderful bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped and had all items you might need during your stay. The bedrooms were comfy and cosy and the living room very relaxing. There were books, games, puzzles, etc available for your use. And I loved the screened in porch which make relaxing without mosquitoes so enjoyable. The area that the cottage was located in was a small grouping of homes and cottages but very quiet and relaxed. Also it was fairly centrally located on the Island for wherever we wanted to go. Although nothing is really far on PEI. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. While it was just the two of us the bedrooms would easily sleep two each and there were two bathrooms for use. We hope to be back. Sandra, Paul and Elroy (dog)
We had a wonderful time on PEI and Honeycomb Cottage was excellent. Location worked out great since we had family also staying in the vicinity. We have been on the island a number of summers and this cottage was far and away our best experience. We hope to be back . Thank you Dianne !
The cottage is absolutely as described. The indoor and outdoor living space is great for a group and just a short walk to the water. The property and cottage are clean and inviting. Bedrooms on either side of a large open living room/dining room/kitchen give just enough separation. The weather was just starting to get cooler and the furnace kept us toasty warm. Thank you for a wonderful space to relax and get comfy.
Really gorgeous home. Drive along vibrant red dirt roads to get to this beautiful place. Unique design and truly gorgeous decor. You can tell this place is well loved. Check in was easy (and early!) which we appreciated. It is so quiet and the screened in porch was perfect for coffee and reading. Bathrooms were stunning and the master just gorgeous. Loved the open concept honey bee theme.
Drove all the way from Ontario and it was well worth it! Cottage was spacious and clean. Great location close to national park. Also really enjoyed the honeycomb theme as a bee keeper.
Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at Honeycomb CottageâŠ.everything we needed was there. Diane even came with water and candles when there was a chance we could lose power because of bad weather. We would return.
We were 6 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. Lots of room to spread out. Well equipped lovely cottage. Enjoyed the screened in porch. Close to beaches and restaurants(less than 30 minutes). Owner was always quick to respond to emails. Would definitely rent it again!
This was our second stay at the Honeycomb and it was wonderful. The cottage is clean, has everything you need, and the communication with Dianne was clear and prompt. We will be back next year!
Enjoyed our stay. My elderly mom would have preferred to have some â regular â TV , so my only suggestion would be to add satellite TV. Did see a few eurwiges in the kitchen but I know this is common for cottages without a basement. Loved the separation of the sleeping areas. Overall would highly recommend it to my friends
Quiet and serene with all the amenities of home. Lots of room for us as a family of four. We worked online for part of the stay and had no issues with online meetings. Host Dianne was awesome to deal with. We had a great stay.
The peace and quiet, water view and closeness to natural beauty like the woods and the ocean. Donaldston is very close to the part of PEI where I grew up, and is the community where my mother was raised.
