À propos de cet hébergement

Votre retraite paisible sur l'océan.

Découvrez une vue imprenable depuis notre propriété face à l'océan située à deux kilomètres au nord de Sechelt. Nous sommes situés sur une falaise orientée sud avec une vue à 180 degrés surplombant la baie Davis, les îles Trail et l'île de Vancouver.

Profitez de la proximité de l'océan, des vagues qui se brisent sur la plage, des aigles perchés dans les arbres à l'avant et du jardin paisible avec une variété de sièges.

La propriété est sur une rive haute avec une bonne qualité, des marches éclairées jusqu'à la plage. Il y a une grande terrasse sur la plage où vous pouvez vous asseoir et regarder la vie de l'océan. Des dauphins, des baleines, des phoques, des otaries, des aigles et de nombreux oiseaux de mer différents ont été aperçus au cours de l'année écoulée.

Notre suite de jardin magnifiquement entretenue de 2 chambres a une entrée privée sur un patio couvert, foyer au gaz, plancher de bois franc partout, chauffage au sol dans la salle de bain carrelée, cuisine entièrement équipée, électroménagers pleine grandeur, et une laveuse et sécheuse. Le salon, la cuisine et les chambres donnent sur le jardin et l'océan.

La chambre principale a un lit king-size et sa propre sortie sur le patio. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen.

Il y a un barbecue à gaz sur le pont et une variété de coins salons où vous pourrez profiter du jardin et de la vue. Le bain à remous couvert de gazebo est à quelques pas de la suite avec une vue imprenable sur l'eau.

Nous sommes à trente minutes du ferry et à trois minutes des commerces, restaurants et galeries de Sechelt.

C'est un endroit parfait pour une escapade tranquille ou des vacances actives et amusantes sur la côte ensoleillée.

Had a wonderful stay in an excellent location. Place was well furnished and as described. Hot tub overlooking the ocean is a lovely bonus. Everything you need for a great getaway. Would definitely repeat.

We really enjoyed our stay, after visiting the beaches and doing kayaking in the Sechelt inlet, this place was an oasis to return to. Such a relaxing quiet stay. It is a beautifully kept property, stunning garden and the views of the water are 10/10. Inside everything was so clean and well put together with great tasteful simplicity. There was even fresh welcome flowers on the table for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

The gardens, suite and whole experience were just what we needed for a peaceful getaway.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to relax but still wants the convenience of being close to town.

Great property to relax in and explore from

The apartment was well equipped, clean and spacious. When the weather is good there's an overhanging deck which provides shade and outdoor space to bbq and relax. Doreen and David know the area well and will graciously share their insights.

Lovely Oceanfront Home

Our 3-night stay was just perfect. The roomy suite is lovely with lots of windows to enjoy the gorgeous view. It also had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including towels for the hot tub, multiple outdoor seating spots, and basic condiments in the kitchen. David and Doreen were friendly and helpful in recommending places to kayak and eat. We look forward to returning!

Amazing Stay!

This was a perfect getaway for a few friends and I. Wonderful outdoor space for dining, taking in the views of ocean and garden, a late night hot tub soak. Was a favourite highlight of mine heading down to steps to the rocky beach for a morning coffee. Inside was clean, comfortable and welcoming. 10 very relaxing days

My husband and I had a lovely 10 days in Sechelt and really enjoyed staying at this property. It is a very large 2 bedroom with a large kitchen and living space, which is ideal for a longer stay. The suite was very clean and included bathrobes for the hot tub. The location was perfect doing day hikes around the Sunshine Coast. The viewed were just beautiful too. Highly recommend

Everything we expected and more

We really enjoyed our stay at this very clean, private, quiet suite. It appears to be recently professionally renovated including a new Weber BBQ and new Maytag washer. Nice landscaping and nice sitting areas to look out at the ocean. The owners upstairs were very nice and respectful and available if anything was needed. We appreciate the TELUS TV plentiful channels and guide, and the high speed internet. This was our first time on the Sunshine Coast and we really appreciated the quietness and small town feel. Relaxation in luxury

Incredible property. This felt like it was a luxury hotel suite! The owners take great pride in it. The suite was impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable and the little touches like handmade soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste and makeup remover wipes (if you forgot to bring your own) make you feel very cared for and spoiled in a good way. But the most impressive thing for us was the garden! It is beautiful and relaxing and built with a great deal of thought. There is a dedicated seating area to look at the ocean; there is a dedicated seating area to catch the morning sun; there is also a whole massive patio area with comfortable sofa and chairs for you to enjoy… ahhh….After being back from our getaway for a few days now we, as a family, still keep reminiscing about our perfect stay and dreaming about coming back soon!

A wonderful family holiday

We really enjoyed our weeklong stay on the Sunshine Coast. The suite was an excellent place to relax. Everything is well cared for, clean and organized. There was everything that we needed and the owners even provided us with a travel crib and highchair for our daughter so that we did not need to fly all this stuff with us. There was even a basket of toys and books for her. This was a great bonus for us. They even protected all the plugs for us. The beds were very comfortable with excellent quality sheets and towels. We all slept very well with the soft ocean noises in the background. You won't hear traffic noise at all inside the suite and only very faintly in the garden. The view is even more amazing than the photos show. I would recommend bringing a small pair of binoculars because there is so much to see. We saw seals, various seabirds and many, many migrating eagles. We loved the hot tub in the evening after our daughter had gone to bed. Such a nice treat. The owners were very helpful with suggesting activities and helping us with any questions that we had. I would highly recommend staying here. It was by far the nicest VRBO property we have ever rented. We hope to return. Thank you Doreen and Dave!

Amazing stay

Fantastic spot for a long weekend on the Sunshine Coast. The unit was spotlessly clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We enjoyed magnificent views, evenings in the hot tub and mornings down at the ocean spotting the wildlife. We will definitely come back 😊

Amazing

Our group of 2 couples stayed for 4 nights here and cannot say enough positive about our experience. The living space is beautiful, well-appointed and comfortable. It is a walk-out space in a home that has a hot-tub, stair access (104!) to the beach with several bunches that overlook the water. The town of Sechelt and the surrounding area is lovely and there is lots to do for day trips, if one ever wants to leave the property itself.

Paradise

Our stay at David and Doreen's property was like being in paradise...we wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was amazing. The beds were so comfortable, the interior of the suite was immaculate, with so many extra touches to make you feel special. Everything outside was gorgeous, right from the patio, the hot tub, the gardens and flowers...and most of all of the spectacular views from every corner of the yard. The location and proximity to town and surrounding attractions was extremely convenient. Both David and Doreen were so helpful and communicated with us immediately if we had questions. We highly recommend a stay at their property and it has become by far our most favourite destination and we hope to be back very soon. Thank you David and Doreen for accommodating us on this wonderful and memorable vacation in Sechelt.

Perfect getaway

This spot is one in a million. We were right on the ocean! Fabulous little suite with everything we could Possibly need including some well-thought Out condiments. Full kitchen. Hot tub was awesome. Robes, towels and flip Flops supplied. BBQ brand new. Beds super Comfortable. Stunning grounds. So quiet. So private. Just like home. I’d go here again in a heartbeat.
