I hosted a mini family reunion here. The first hurdle was deciding who would sleep where in the different bedroom arrangements. That was actually kind of fun. There's something for everyone! House is a 20 minute walk to the main Park City drag, which is full of wonderful shops, restaurants, bars, etc. There's a great city park a block away with everything you could want.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, location is awesome and everyone in the group had satisfactory sleeping space. The one big drawback was that the listing had advertised having âAir Conditioning, window a/c unitsâ. These were not installed for our stay (mid-June), and the house central air system is for heating only, so it was quite uncomfortable until late in the evening (over 80F throughout entire house). Owner did say they would reach out to their handyman to install the A/Cs but nothing materialized. Fortunately we were visiting for a wedding so we were out of the house most of the day.
Location was great. Walk uphill half a block to the parking lot of PCMR. With some encouragement and the kids (ages 4-10) could do it ok. No car needed. Easy bus access to deer valley, canyons, and downtown. Fit a large group well. Private hot tub was great too. Water temperature adjustment on a couple showers was a challenge but otherwise it was in good shape with a kitchen setup for big group meals. Would stay again!
My girls group enjoyed our stay. The location is a short walk to the Payday lift. We rented and valeted our equipment at See-N-Ski which was perfectly situated between the house and the lift. Shuttle bus is a short walk. John is a perfect host. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.
great location! but could use some work around the edges
great location, friendly and easy to reach host. downside is that every room in the house feels cramped (we were a group of 10 adults and 9 children), lots of missing outlet covers (dangerous for children) and other cosmetic issues, and some of the mattresses were not well equipped for couples (very saggy in the middle) and should be replaced. missing bedroom furniture for storing clothes (like dressers), and the house has no mud room for changing into and out of or storing ski gear, except the unheated garage, which has no space when there is a car inside of it.
This house sleep 18 people in beds. Which is why we booked it. However it is 4 stories and no room for all 18 people in one floor
One care parking and NOparking
The house was perfect for a multi-generational family. Our three year granddaughter was asleep on a different floor while the adults played games and watched movies.
Location canât be beat for ski access - only about a block away from lifts on the Park City side. Walking to Main Street was also convenient (about 15-20 minutes). Jon was a great host, we had a few special requests and he accommodated all of them. Check in and out was also extremely smooth and easy. The house has tons of space and a lot of beds - would absolutely recommend for a big group.
Great location. Very close to slopes (~5 min walk to lift) but it is an uphill walk about one block then across the parking lot; tough with ski boots on. Bus or having someone drop you off are good options. Plenty of parking space (we were able to squeeze 4 cars in with one in the garage). Very close to (free) bus stop to get to main street as well, or about a 15 minute walk for those that prefer that. Plenty of room for our group of 8 adults + 2 children. All families had their own bathroom. Some minor things could use some TLC but in the end the place serves its purpose excellently. Would stay again.
This was a perfect location- short walk to slopes for skiers; a short walk to old town for the shoppers. Very comfort with spaces to gather for food, drinks and conversation. Owner was very nice and answered our few questions very quickly. Would definitely stay there again.
