My girls group enjoyed our stay. The location is a short walk to the Payday lift. We rented and valeted our equipment at See-N-Ski which was perfectly situated between the house and the lift. Shuttle bus is a short walk. John is a perfect host. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, location is awesome and everyone in the group had satisfactory sleeping space. The one big drawback was that the listing had advertised having âAir Conditioning, window a/c unitsâ. These were not installed for our stay (mid-June), and the house central air system is for heating only, so it was quite uncomfortable until late in the evening (over 80F throughout entire house). Owner did say they would reach out to their handyman to install the A/Cs but nothing materialized. Fortunately we were visiting for a wedding so we were out of the house most of the day.
Location was great. Walk uphill half a block to the parking lot of PCMR. With some encouragement and the kids (ages 4-10) could do it ok. No car needed. Easy bus access to deer valley, canyons, and downtown. Fit a large group well. Private hot tub was great too. Water temperature adjustment on a couple showers was a challenge but otherwise it was in good shape with a kitchen setup for big group meals. Would stay again!
great location! but could use some work around the edges
great location, friendly and easy to reach host. downside is that every room in the house feels cramped (we were a group of 10 adults and 9 children), lots of missing outlet covers (dangerous for children) and other cosmetic issues, and some of the mattresses were not well equipped for couples (very saggy in the middle) and should be replaced. missing bedroom furniture for storing clothes (like dressers), and the house has no mud room for changing into and out of or storing ski gear, except the unheated garage, which has no space when there is a car inside of it.
This house sleep 18 people in beds. Which is why we booked it. However it is 4 stories and no room for all 18 people in one floor
One care parking and NOparking
The house was perfect for a multi-generational family. Our three year granddaughter was asleep on a different floor while the adults played games and watched movies.
While not the fanciest or nicest accommodations we've stayed at in Park City this house more than makes up for it with location and low-key fun vibe. We'd happily stay here again and we appreciate the flexibility with check in and out. Thanks again for having us!
Location canât be beat for ski access - only about a block away from lifts on the Park City side. Walking to Main Street was also convenient (about 15-20 minutes). Jon was a great host, we had a few special requests and he accommodated all of them. Check in and out was also extremely smooth and easy. The house has tons of space and a lot of beds - would absolutely recommend for a big group.
Visited over Christmas 2022. 8 adults and 2 children aged 5 & 2.5. Great location. Walkable to town and lifts. There are alot of steps in this house but it worked out great for our group. Parking on site for 3 vehicles.
Jon the owner went above & beyond being a great host. I would recommend and stay here again!
Great location. Very close to slopes (~5 min walk to lift) but it is an uphill walk about one block then across the parking lot; tough with ski boots on. Bus or having someone drop you off are good options. Plenty of parking space (we were able to squeeze 4 cars in with one in the garage). Very close to (free) bus stop to get to main street as well, or about a 15 minute walk for those that prefer that. Plenty of room for our group of 8 adults + 2 children. All families had their own bathroom. Some minor things could use some TLC but in the end the place serves its purpose excellently. Would stay again.
Not New, the house is tired, and needs some TLC. Animal House 2023
This property was not up to the standard we have come to expect from a VRBO rental. It has been worked on and looks like it! Doors didn't close, doors didn't open, kitchen flooring was coming apart, huge leak in the garage that dropped wet drywall patch all over the hood a car. Lights hanging in bathrooms, broken couch, etc, etc.
Overall this property was good. The location was an easy walk to Main Street shops and restaurants and the city park. It was nice to have a bathroom for almost every bedroom. There was plenty of beds and places to spread out so you're not on top of everyone. The internet worked great with all of us on it. I think our only complaints would be that the 2 dishwashers in the main kitchen did not work. There are plenty of dishes but it was not fun to have to hand wash all the dishes. Next time I would bring paper products to avoid this. We had to request paper towels and garbage bags because there were no replacements but the owner was quick to respond and bring us some. The property was infested with Box Elder bugs as well. Not much the property owner could have done to stop that except put in better screens on the windows. Overall this property was good.
Good location - hard to walk up to hill, but that is just how it is within town. My 74 year mother could walk it, but we were sweating and huffing and puffing to make it to the hill.
Overall the house we fine, but could use some TLC. Mold around windows, door frames, blinds, you have to use space heaters which is very unsafe and I did not like that my kids were 3 floors above me using a space heater while I was in the lowest level using one. Kitchen table tips off when you put your elbows down on it. We had to open Carbon dioxide detectors we found in the garage. Lots of steps to go from top to bottom. Also could use a deep clean, lots of dust on the walls above and around fans, on lamp shades etc. -newer carpet and couch in 2nd floor which was nice.
This was a perfect location- short walk to slopes for skiers; a short walk to old town for the shoppers. Very comfort with spaces to gather for food, drinks and conversation. Owner was very nice and answered our few questions very quickly. Would definitely stay there again.
Jon was a responsive host on the few questions that came up during the stay. He let us leave our bags in the garage a bit before check in time, which was very kind. The location is perfectâa quick walk to Park City Mountain, or City Park, or downtown restaurants and shops. The window AC units got the job done even on hot days. The kitchen is fully stocked. Iâd stay again!
This house was great for a ski week in park city. Plenty of space, clean and perfect location, close to base of park city MT and walkable into town! Owner was extremely responsive and answered all our questions quickly. Would highly recommend!
Great place and location, worked well with our group (3 families, 5 adults, 6 teens). Jon was super responsive to our requests/questions, easy to deal with which made trip great.
