We stayed for two weeks. The studio was just perfect, it catered for all our needs. The view was incredible, we could see the dolphins from our balcony. Although we are in our early seventies climbing into the bath to have a shower was not problematic. However, a little step would have been helpful. The shared balcony was not an issue as that unit had their own entry. Definitely booking it again next year.
Location and views were amazing- couldnât fault! Entrance and parking for the apartment block is not on Victoria Parade which would have been nice to know- itâs Shoal Bay Rd.
The apartment itself is quite small, with minimal storage/hanging for clothes but fine for 2ppl. There is no privacy at night as the blinds donât actually block the view from outside when a light is on- they also let light in which was a pain in the morning; especially with daylight savings.
The bathroom is modern with plenty of storage and the water pressure in the shower was great, however having to drape the curtain around the entire tub and have it stick to you as your showering was really annoying.
Only a small hot plate to cook on and the basic cooking pans etc. No oven but a dishwasher and a microwave.
Overall, it was clean and in a great location with provided parking so reasonable for what you pay :)
Watching the sunset was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Some more thought and updates are required for the rest of the unit. As it had a wrap around shower curtain - we ended up on too familiar terms! Also no block out blinds and coverings to the bedroom thus very light with street lamps etc and the rising sun at 6 am. Windows need updating - quite a breeze was able to whistle through. A comfortable couch but too small a TV.
Enjoyed the walk into town and the area. With just a few updates we would be singing it's praises.
A great apartment for 1 or 2 people. Fantasic location if you want to near the town and beach. Good parking behind flat. Well fitted out with all you will need for a comfortable stay. Views from deck stunning as the sun goes down.
Rather a lot of steps but will keep you fit. Reasonably priced for what it is.
Lovely small unit with balcony and stunning views, easy walk to Diggers, Marina and shops. No fly screens or screen door, no curtains which makes for no privacy at night. No stove, just 2 hot plates to cook on, a frypan would help, especially for longer stays. Trying to shower in spa bath was a little difficult, with shower curtains clinging to you. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.
Great location for relaxing and sitting back relaxing watching with beautiful water views and a nice stroll to Nelson Bay shopping centre and to Nelson Bay Marina area. We have already re-booked for December 2018.
