The property is in a wonderful location for ski in (from a black run) and a very short walk to silver lift. The kitchen is pretty well equipped minus a few Tupperware containers. Bedding/Beds were comfortable and clean. Shower curtains could use a replacement. Overall great experience and will be happy to visit this location again in the future. Hopefully more snow next time ;)
The property was clean and had alot of amenities, which were very convenient. The surrounding area was very beautiful & we even seen some moose! The hot tub was amazing and very clean as well. The decor was pretty outdated but it was comical & fun.
One downfall was having to do a 24 hr email for damage. I felt that was very inconvenient and unnecessary, these damages should already be known & fixed prior to check in. It made me feel as if i didnt catch something i would be charged for it. It made me very uncomfortable. Second downfall there was no check out instructions. I.e. what to do with linens, trash, dishes etc. I was so worried about being charged a service fee i automatically went into normal renter mode and did things i normally would do at an Air B & B in fear of being charged a service fee.
Overall, it was a nice & relaxing girls weekend but i will most likely NOT use VRBO again & just stick with Air B & B. There was alot of hoops to jump through just to rent and communication was subpar with the host/property managers.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Leaking roof! Bad host
During the second half of our stay, the roof was leaking! Though not a giant leak, there was a constant drip for 2 days from the ceiling, which was both gross (nasty brown water) and annoying (could hear the dripping). I reached out to the host via the VRBO messaging system, sent photos/videos, and they did not reply, offer to fix, etc. - total radio silence! Communication with the host was difficult and they were incredibly difficult to get a hold of, including before stay.
Additionally, the apartment is quite dated (the pictures are very flattering vs IRL). Pros were that the location is great and kitchen had plenty of pots/pans, oil, etc.
The location was great and was right next to slopes. Sadly that was the only the thing that was great. We had found rat poop one of the beds and promptly cleaned it ourselves. On the last day, we also saw a mouse running around. When we arrived, a plastic cover on one of the hot tubs was loose. Promptly after 2 days it fell off and we put it back on thinking it was normal the owners charged us $400 for breaking the hot tub jet. After explaining the situation to the owner that it was not in fact broken and it was just the cover. After they inspected and confirmed it was just the cover, they kept pushing for charging us $400 with no itemized list or receipts. They also claimed they found glass in the vacuum cleaner when we had no glass bottles during our stay. We also found issues with the garbage disposal that had bottle caps in it. When again we had no bottles with caps or glass. These things started showing up but since it was not reported on day one they refused to help or address. They also charge $60 for extra TP and towels. I donât believe their inspections are thorough and itâs quite ridiculous to charge us and EXTRA $400 for something we did not do and was not impactful to the stay at all.
Somewhat dated, but clean and super convenient location within Park City. 3 minutes to Park City Mountain parking lot and 10-15 minutes to Deer Valley parking lot. Also 5 minutes or less to downtown Park City/shopping/restaurants/grocery store, etc. Had plenty of room for our group of 6 with 2 full baths, a half bath, and 5 individual beds plus pull out couch. Would stay here again.
Very Nice, clean and fun. BEST location in Park City Area
Very spacious and nice. Iâve been to Park City both summer and winter and this is the best location with beautiful surroundings Iâve ever had. Nice garage for bikes, skies, car, etc as a bonus
This was a great cabin in a great location. It's located in a quiet neighborhood yet is less than 5 mins drive from dining, ski area, etc. Most adventure activities are within walking distance. The cabin is quite a bit larger than I had anticipated. Hot tub worked nicely.
This cabin and it's interior are old, which gives it an authentic cabin feel. Because of it's age, it has almost zero noise insulation and you can easily hear the conversations in the adjoining condo as if they were in the same room. Not much can be done with this, but just a heads up if you prefer a quieter environment.
We would definitely stay here again.
Stay was good. The location is great for access to the slopes. Short walk up a paved path to the Silver Star lift.
The place is ok. Its spacious, beds are good and was clean overall. Hot tub was great.
However, Itâs old, and it shows itâs age. Old carpet everywhere (including bathrooms), furniture is fine, but again very old. Bathrooms could use some updating.
The price on this was lower than others in the area so the negatives are expected. Again, itâs a fine and comfortable place, just not great.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The propertyâs location was ideal, next to several mountain biking trails and restaurants. Our group of four had plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was cleaned. During our stay we encountered a plumbing issue, but the property management company quickly addressed the issue to our satisfaction. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything was really nice including the location, but an unfleshed toilet at check-in and the hot tub was cold because a circuit was tripped....Other then that, it was nice.
Great place with a perfect location for a ski trip. Within walking distance to the slopes, even for kids. Very comfortable for our two families. I would stay here again.
