Aberdeen 2 is a great place to stay. The facilities are great, the location and views are fantastic, and it was exactly as described. Would have loved to stay there even longer, so we'll be back!!
The accommodation was old and a bit messy but comfortable. Access on to and from the property for boat parking is a real task with a very steep crossover that bottoms out the boat trailer and an extremely steep hill to tow up once you are out of the property. In my case we destroyed a jockey wheel and a plastic guard. The barbeque required a major clean before it could be used which was disappointing. Other than that if your not looking for excellent accommodation and happy to have average, it certainly has everything you will need.
This is a shared property between Unit 1 and Unit 2. Both declared as pet-friendly. This means that if you are not a dog-owner consider you will not get access to the front yard, as it will be guarded by some big dogs of your next door neighbour. You will be parking on the street side and will enter the unit from there unless you enjoy to confront the dogs and their owners potentially during your holiday stay.
The kitchen is limited in dishes and bowls of larger size, so if you go with family be prepared to that.
The outlook from the unit was very pleasant and the location was close to facilities and venues. The premises were smaller than described in the promo - adequate for 2 adults only. The advertised boat storage was difficult to negotiate.
