This is our 2nd year staying at this property. It's beautiful and so relaxing. A few things we learned from last year, like being your own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags,...etc. We also brought a couple of pans as there aren't many size options available. They did add a couple of window units, so it wasn't as warm as last year. The fact that it has so many bedrooms and bathrooms, a boat launch, a dock, an amazing view, and is in a great location, will keep us coming back.

The outside of the house was left unkept from the people who rented the night before. The house and dock were infested with ants, we had to go get ant spray at Walmart the first day we were there. The AC could not keep the house cool. Many of the rooms do not have AC vents. The back steps are steep. There is no place to clean fish. The boat launch was nice to have but it was a bit treacherous. There positives were it was decorated well, it was a great location and it could sleep a good number of people, but would never stay there again as I’ve gotten much better places for same price on Toledo bend

The Best location on Toledo Bend Lake

The property was very clean and newly remodeled, this is our 4th time to bust this property’ and will be back next year if not sooner, it has everything you need to fill at home….

Camp with a great view!!!

My family had a great stay. We had a small issue but owner and property manager were quick to respond. The back porch and the bunk room were a huge bonus since we had rainy weather during our stay. The property was the perfect fit and we would definitely consider staying again.

Family Reunion

We booked this home for our family reunion that was close by. This house is very spacious. It was plenty of room for my husband and I and our 3 sons and their spouse and children. We love this place. It is so relaxing! We will be back again next year!!

Hickory Ridge Hideaway

We had a blast The house was perfect and very roomy The huge porch was amazing and perfect to cook on The back yard was just the right size for our dogs and kids to play And the boat house/dock was amazing So much room for everyone to fish on We loved it and would definitely go back Thank y’all so much It was a perfect vacation

While the interior of the house was acceptably clean and comfortable, the exterior was very filthy. The front door patio was covered with thick dirt/mud. There were spiderwebs covering all the exterior furniture, woodwork, and windows. Both grills were very dirty. The MAJOR issues regarding the house were that the back sliding doors didn’t close, letting bugs in. The only way to lock that door was with a makeshift pole in the track. This pole was the only thing keeping the door shut, so if you went out, the door would roll back open. The game room sliding doors had no window coverings, which resulted in no privacy at night for our young kids. Also, the master bath and bedroom had no air-conditioning. We did love the layout, the boat ramp, and the boat dock deck was nice after we swept it. The host was extremely pleasant and helpful upon arrival. The location was great, and the neighbors very friendly. We would highly recommend this property if exterior conditions are improved, air conditioning is added, and doors/window coverings are addressed.

Weekend getaway

Property was recently renovated very clean. Nice up-to-date. It was a very chilly weekend, so really just chilled inside, our son and daughter in law braved the chilly weather and tried to fish off boat house, but no luck. We truly enjoyed the view. Definitely plan on going back late spring early summer. Would love to take grandchildren there.

We had a wonderful stay. The rental was in a perfect location. One or two miles from groceries, gas, bait, etc. the view was beautiful. Communication with our contact, Sandy, was easy and she quickly responded. I would return to this location. It was quiet and peaceful. We cooked inside and out. They had plenty of pans. We were happy we brought our own favorite, large pot to cook in . The showers were hot and had excellent pressure. We seldom used the camp and stayed on the deck that had more than enough electrical outlets to add a couple of fans to the two they provide. Thank you.
