Family Getaway

A great family holiday home for a large group. A quiet relaxed location with everything you need for a holiday. Walking distance to the beach, beautiful scenery and kangaroos visiting in the evening.

Great location! It is a close walk to the beach and parks to keep all the family entertained.The house was had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend! The BBQ area pool area were an extra bonus.Totally pooch friendly

Weekend away

Had a great weekend away with our kids and grandkids! Beautiful beach for us all to have a swim and a rock pool just a walk away! The lobster pot was very well equipped and spacious enough for our adult kids our teen kids our 8 year old and 2 grandbabies!! Kangaroos and wildlife and great fishing spots aswell! The

Lobster Pot

I had a great 5 days away with my children and grandchildren staying at the Lobster Pot. The house had plenty of room for the six adults & four children. It wasn’t too far from the beach & rock pool. Would highly recommend this property for a getaway to Currarong. Sue.

Great spot

We have stayed at the Lobster Pot before - it’s a great house for a big group. Great outdoor area, plus 2 living area & a pool room so we weren’t on top of each other & the teens could have their space. Close to shop, beaches, bushwalking & basketball courts/skate park - all within walking distance. We didn’t need to drive anywhere! We had a couple of issues checking in but the property managers fixed both problems up quickly for us. Thanks for having us!

Family friendly getaway

Well appointed single level home, within walking distance to beaches, convenience store and Zak’s restaurant. House is perfect for a group with great outdoor dining and bbq space. Loads of games, dvds and pool table. Pool table and equipment could do with a revamp. Overall a good little getaway spot.

Very lovely house and very clean except for one very very dirty saucepan left by previous guest.

Enjoyable, however Holiday Rental Specialists weren’t very easy to deal with.

Unfortunately you didn't contact us during your stay to let us know about this. After investigation, it was the guest before you that had left this in the cupboard. We apologised that this was not found on our inspection before your arrival, this was why you were provided a refund. Warm regards, HRS

Best location and great for the kids

When we arrived the place was spotless and is exactly looks like the pictures. Its great for family bbqs, kids to play, entertainment for all ages. The beach is just 5mins away and is not that busy or over crowed. Had a great time!

Absolutely wonderful..

Thanks Darren, my extended family absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Lobster Pot. I only wish the stay was for more than a few nights. The property comfortably accommodated all 12 of us, and we were pleasantly surprised by the nice extra touches such as the hand soap and cream, hand towels, coffee maker, and BBQ. The hose was great for giving things a quick rinse after a day out on the water, and the outside shower was a lovely touch. We slept like the dead on those comfortable beds, which helped us to enjoy the stay even more as we woke up refreshed every day.

Fantastic Home

The Lobster Pot" catered for all our needs. A well presented home with all modern accessories inside and out. Great location within short walk to shops, restaurant and the beach.I would highly recommend this home to any person wanting a wonderful holiday with family and friends.

Great Value

Perfect set up for a group stay, the Lobster Pot comfortably accommodated our group of 8 with plenty of space. The long communal tables are great and Darren has done a fantastic job of renovating the property, very modern and well equipped. Loved the big BBQ and covered outdoor area & pool table was an added bonus. Close to beaches and a reserve nearby for walking and fishing also barefoot bowls at the local club was a good cheap group activity. Definitely highly recommended.

Even better than we expected!

We had the best time at the Lobster Pot - it had so many things that made it perfect as a home away from home for us to holiday. The outdoor shower was a blessing and the place is so well set up for multiple families and kiddy friends. Especially loved the nightly visits from kangaroos. Great neighbours, very friendly and Tina is lovely to deal with too. Having stayed at a number of different holiday houses, we would highly recommend this property.

fantastic property

We had a quick break and the house was perfect for a mixed group of adults and teenagers. The pool room was a great feature for the teenagers, and the back porch was well set up with a fantastic barbecue/sink and fridge.We had a friendly possum that visited as well. Everything was tasteful and well fitted out even a few luxuries.
