This was a great little cabin thatâs perfect for small families and pets. We enjoyed sitting on the couch and watching the snow fall in the neighborhood. My one small complaint is the house items are hold/worn out and a few things like linens and dish-ware should be replaced.
Came up for one night to visit a friend. Easy process, lovely cabin. Very close to King's Beach and restaurants, without the noise of being on the highway or beach.
We were happy to stay for two nights and were vet comfortable as a family of three with a dog. The living area is very roomy with plenty of seating. The queen bed was super comfortable with memory foam. We were going to use the super cute loft for our son, but it was too hot in the heat wave, so he slept on the couch as it was way too hot upstairs. You have to be comfortable or with wobbly ladders to access the loft. The bathroom was very clean and had good pressure and hot water. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and worked fine. Bring your own olive oil and spices.
My only drawback was the Wi-Fi. The password we were given did not work. There were three routers, but it didnât work on any of them. We called The vacation rental folks and they were very friendly but I ultimately not helpful. They needed to contact the owner and said they would get back to me, but never did. This might be a one-time thing.
I would also take the âwalkableâ to businesses under advice. We have a going boy and would not feel comfortable walking into Tahoe Vista or Kingâs Beach, as you have to walk quite a distance along the side of the road. It it very walkable with the kids to the beach, however. Adults used to walking or cycling will find the location very manageable.
