Great location

Awesome stay. Property surrounded by gums and an easy 30 minute bush walk to beach. The slow combustion fire place was beautiful and the abundant bird life was amazing. 10-15 minute drive to Tilba Tilba for a trip. Also a 10 minute drive to Narooma.

A perfect getaway

Absolutely perfect, a little slice of heaven. Only thing we would suggest is a small “manual” near the front door giving guidance on the fireplace etc.

Peaceful Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really quiet with only the birds and waves to listen to. The cottage has everything you need and plenty of firewood and kindling. We were relaxed and comfortable and it was perfect for forgetting the pandemic and just strolling deserted beaches with the dig off lead!

House in the Bush

Well first off the house is not on the beach it is over 1/2 a K in the Bush. The wood heater works well but there was only 2 pieces of wood provided. There is no Reverse Air Con or Dish washer or a exhaust vent over the stove. The wood heater does not have a safety outside flue cover so someone could get very badly burnt .The TV is that old it has to be worked through a set top Box good luck with that. The house inside needs a big upgrade and clean it is very tired. Outside . Well how many cobwebs do you want to look at, Gum tree leaves everywhere dirt and dust covering most things outside There is no Garden what so ever just bush tall gum trees everywhere. The toilet in the unsuite was blocked and rising to the top of the Pan. The house next door had a Dog which Barked and Barked say no more. Over all i Rate this house 3 stars at Max . The money they ask for it is way to much. There is much better value if you look around else where.

Wonderful location & natural setting.

Very basic but nice house in an amazing natural bush setting with abundant bird life & it was a real joy to just sit & watch them. Great location near a beach we fell in love with. Area quiet & very private, house tv was a challenge kept losing signal & no internet or phone reception would be our only negatives. We really appreciated it being pet friendly and thank the owners for that. Would love to stay again.

Mystery Bay

It was an amazing house that had a beautiful view of the environment around us. The house was really fun to stay in and the birds where just amazing. The local beach was one of my favourite parts, it had rock pools and a huge cave that just blew me away. It provided anything you needed, such as pillows, doonas, puzzles, games and a whole lot of DVD's. Overall our holiday was amazing and it was a good house. (Amy -12 years old)

Cosy and Comfy

Very well presented property. Fireplace a delight during a cold winter weekend with plenty of firewood available. Extremely impressed with how well the cabin is stocked to ensure a comfortable stay. Fenced off area for the dogs is great, nd only a short stroll down to the beach. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away down the south coast with kids and dogs.

Beautiful cottage amongst the gum trees!

What a gorgeous place to stay. Very nicely presented with all the comforts needed to help get us into relax mode. The fully fenced dog run was perfect, and the back deck looking up to the tall gums and beautiful bird life was even better. A short walk to beautiful Mystery Bay beach. Highly recommend!

Wonderful

Our family and 2 dogs had an amazing time here. House was perfect for us. Very well equipped and short walk to beach. Only feedback would be that bunk mattresses and master bed mattress need an upgrade.

Our dog loved the beach walks permitted early mornings and late afternoons.We visited shortly after very heavy rainfalls so there were lots of mosquitos about, unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the outdoor deck on offer as a result.

Mystery Bay - Gorgeous Beach

The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It really needs a good clean, inside and out. The outside of the house is covered in cob webs. Lots of spiders and insects around, even inside the house. It had two nice outdoor sitting areas but we hardly used them due to cob webs and spiders.

Peaceful and all that you need

Better than expected. Small thoughtful touches made for a super relaxed break. Out of the ‘busy’ of Narooma but so close to all you need. Happily would return.

Great getaway

Property stay was great staying with our fur kids. Excellent setup and tranquility from the masses. Best kept secret of the south coast, a few things outdated but homely and no heater as had been stated on the Stayz listing, however had all the wood provided for the fireplace (even had friendly neighbor check up on us with cold blizzard upon us), just needed to warm up the place quickly. Also charges more than what was quoted in Stayz as paying balance to a real estate via card.
