Découvrez ce qui vous attend à Blue Reeds, la maison la plus privée de la magnifique plage de Broadkill avec des vues spectaculaires sur le marais et la baie. Notre maison a été entièrement rénovée et contient cinq grandes chambres spacieuses pouvant accueillir un total de 13 personnes. Deux et demi bains carrelés / marbre / granit offrent tout le confort de la maison. Une grande cuisine entièrement équipée avec de nouveaux appareils et un îlot en granit peut accueillir six personnes. La salle à manger peut accueillir huit autres personnes. Une grande salle immense avec plusieurs canapés, une télévision haute définition à grand écran et une table de baby-foot assure une retraite relaxante du soleil à la fin de la journée. Un porche grillagé attenant pouvant accueillir huit personnes est un excellent espace pour des cocktails en soirée avec une vue optimale sur les couchers de soleil sur le marais. Ou mieux encore, emmenez votre chiot et faites quelques pas dans l'allée et sur les dunes pour construire votre propre feu sur la plage pour terminer votre journée. La maison a des terrasses et des porches sur trois côtés vous permettant de profiter du meilleur de la brise marine changeante à tout moment de la journée (adapté aux fauteuils roulants). La faune abonde tout autour. Nouvelle terrasse ensoleillée au large de la chambre principale. Douche extérieure (chaude et froide) pour garder le sable au minimum. La propriété entièrement clôturée avec portail aide à garder les bestioles contenues et leur permet de courir. Quatre vélos adultes, quatre vélos juniors, chaises de plage, parasols, nouilles d'eau, piscines pour enfants et kayaks disponibles pour votre usage. Sortie de magasins hors taxes juste en bas de l'autoroute 1 à Rehoboth. Ou évitez la foule pour découvrir les délicieux restaurants, boutiques et pubs du centre-ville de Milton. Les frais pour animaux de compagnie sont de 250 $ par animal. Le jour du roulement est le samedi de la saison. Les draps ne sont pas inclus, ni les serviettes. Les épices et autres condiments sont inclus. Ascenseur disponible sur demande uniquement.

Beach Paradise

Wow...relatively empty beach across the street, great for all ages (in our case 10-74)...nature preserve behind with lots of birds & beautiful sunsets. Home is not only tastefully done, but also has everything you could possibly want ... from the kitchen to the beach equipment

Great family getaway.

Plenty of space for 8 adults and a baby. Excellent common spaces for us to gather and visit but then we could retire to our private bedrooms. Loved the bird watching. Ospreys were an endless source of fascination.

Family beach gathering

We enjoyed the location, layout and amenities of the house (elevator, beach cart, chairs, umbrellas, bikes, foosball, well-stocked kitchen, screened porch) it's proximity to the beach, and the dog-friendliness of the community. For anyone looking to vacation with a larger group and dog(s), we highly recommend Blue Reeds. Bring your bug spray!

Great location and great house

This home is a great place for a large family vacation. It is very private and has plenty of room. The location is very secure and provides a safe place for children to play. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of beach toys. The bikes are a plus as well! Elevator makes for moving in and out very easy. The outside hoses are very convenient. The hosts are very responsive and keep the house very nice.

Quiet beach house

We had a relaxing week in Broadkill Beach. Loved the fenced, private lot set back from the road. An easy walk to the beach and great to be able to take the dogs. The bikes, kayaks, and baby pools were great to have available. The flies were quite bad this week so we spent a couple of days just sitting in the sand at the back of the house with our feet in the little pool. All of the hoses were convenient for post beach and workout rinses. Lots of room inside the house and beautiful finishes throughout. Our children loved the second floor sun deck. We made all of our meals at home so we never had to fight traffic going into Lewes or Rehoboth. Strong wifi for work and school needs. The wildlife refuge and the abundance of horseshoe crabs gave us an opportunity to learn more about the Delaware Bay.

Missed review

The property is near the water and looked as pictured. However they had issues with both the refrigerators and the day before they called to say there was no refrigerator and we needed to spend the first Saturday (7am to until around noon) for delivery. no mention on their part about being able to cancel. after the fridge arrived, then we needed to set the refrigerator up and do our grocery shopping using up most of the day. they had no on site manager. We had overseas family, so changing plans at the last minute was not possible. Saturday was a wonderful weather day, but as it happened, a storm arrived the next day and so our best weather day was used waiting for and setting up the refrigerator. IF you have no on site issues, you will probably enjoy this rental. but if there are issues, it can be very frustrating. When I mentioned that coworkers who rented out time shares said they would have offered to reimburse us for a day, owners at first did not respond, until after they were contacted several times by phone and email by the Vbro customer service. finally the only response was to tell me how much the refrigerator cost and they made no effort to make any offer to compensate for our inconvenience.

Quiet peaceful setting

Very nice home that accommodated 7 of us. The wildlife view from the back deck was beautiful. Dozens of Egrets and other Heron would arrive in the morning and evening to feed in the marshes. If you venture out to eat I recommend Striper Bites in Lewes. The Ahi Tuna steak and shrimp tempura roll were excellent.

Great Girl's Weekend

Beautiful area. Very quiet. Great Birding area. The house was amazing. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to make meals during our stay. Nice bedrooms. Lots of seating both for eating and gathering to chat or play a game. Lots of items in the garage for going across the street to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

We came back!

This is our second family visit in five years to Blue Reeds. We enjoyed the back screen porch and great room for morning and evening gatherings. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Very peaceful and relaxing home overlooking a beautiful tranquil marsh.

3 generation vacation

Our family enjoyed a perfect vacation at this home. the location backing to the Prime Hook Wildlife Preserve was wonderful, and a quick walk across the street gave us easy access to the beach. The house itself had everything we needed, plus some ... as a matter of fact, as we left 3 members of the family were already asking if we could return to this house again next year!

Great location!

House was spacious and met our needs. The screen covered deck was a great place to watch a lightening storm. The garage had an extra refrigerator, beach chairs, and lots of toys! I would definitely recommend this house!!!

Perfect Stay

Wonderful experience

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful house! The view of the marsh was beautiful and on the back screened-in porch it felt totally secluded, peaceful and private. It was a quick, easy walk across the road to the beach, where we were practically the only ones there. There was one day when the biting flies were quite a nuisance - a local walking by said that it is worse when the winds are blowing from the marsh - but all our other days, it was not a big issue. Thanks for a terrific vacation!

Peaceful Getaway

The property was lovely. The home was spacious and had everything you might need for a beach getaway. It was very quiet and very few people or traffic. The view of the marsh was amazing. A beautiful spot to listen to the birds.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property as part of a family vacation. My husband and I plus our four sons (ages 11-18), my mother-in-law and father-in-law, and 2 of my husband's siblings stayed for an extended weekend. We hadn't had a chance to take a vacation over the summer. And despite it being off season we still found plenty to do and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely community. The house itself was even more stunning than the pictures...if that's possible. It's obvious that they take great care and pride in this home. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out. And, I LOVE that there were plenty of couches and comfy seating in the living room. PLUS there was more comfy seating in the screened in porch. We've stayed at properties before where comfy seating was very limited for a large group. So this was a great feature! Since my mother-in-law has some mobility issues we made arrangements to use the elevator in the home. And this was also so greatly appreciated and made her stay much easier. Some highlights from our stay that you won't want to miss is sunrise on the beach and sunset over the marsh/preserve... absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend this home.

We loved our stay at this beautiful property. It’s in a great location and well appointed. Easy access to beach, wildlife refuge and nearby shops/town. We loved birdwatching and animal spotting and the quiet atmosphere at broadkill beach.

Great accommodations!

Lovely, spacious home with a very well-equipped kitchen which was very important to us. Beautiful great room, and ample dining space. Great outdoor space, including a screened porch, and many water toys and beach equipment. This home really worked for our vacation..
